need help with a junction

now i need help with the ceres junction mainly because of that ability that shocks the entire room and damiging my sheilds and actual health and that when i get close i keep freezing and move very slowly which means i can get hit even more  so should i use a mid long or short ranged weapon should i keep a distance or get up close?

What mods are on said weapons?

Junction towards Ceres or towards Jupiter from Ceres?
