Protect the moon broken?

So I was doing the second dream and have encountered a problem that will not let me continue the quest. On the "protect the moon" mission I got stuck on the part where I'm supposed to destroy the pendula with the security orb. I have watched many videos seeing how you are supposed to destroy the pendulas, but it is not working for me. Instead the beam that the orb shoots out is reflected and nothing is able to be done.

Yea it's broken, hotfix broke some lasers' hitboxes or something

I have noticed this in the moon trials since octavias anthem... eventually you will hit it though. Try wall-latching on the center of the tube and drop when the beam comes towards you.

i figured out that the eyball is aiming at your feet instead of the middle of your body (like it used to) so when i try to do that test just before he shoots i jump a little and avoid the lazer with the duble jump (althoug really difficult and hard to do)
