Question regarding unveiled Rivens.

Sorry if this was asked before, however I couldn't find an anwser on these forums or wiki. 

I got veiled shotgun Riven mod from the recent Sortie and currently I have all the needed shotgun Rivens already, however I am hyped for the upcoming Tenno/Corpus pump-action shotguns so I've been wondering: do Rivens have pre-made stats when they are awarded right after the Sortie or their stats generated randomly after you unveil them? Should I sell it or keep it and pray for RNG to make it appear as a new shotgun Riven?

It is given stats based on the weapon decomposition and RNG after the unveiling. Sell it because you'll still have the opportunity to get another shotgun riven.
