Suggestion - Chat Window - Player Status

I did a quick search for previous posts (no promise i didn't miss this if someone else posted it already)

 

I was wondering how difficult it would be to program in a player status so that in Clan chat (or possibly even Region and Recruiting) we could display the status. 

 

For example, if i plan on walking away I could do /afk and have my displayed name appended with - AFK

 

From

Eltharien

to

Eltharien - AFK

 

This is probably a very basic low priority request but my hopes is that the coding requirements would be minimal as well. I often find myself staying online but either being busy, away or otherwise not interested in joining groups. Clan by default displays anyone online, and generally many in our clan are away or already in a game. It would be nice to be able to quickly tell so when inviting I know if anyone is even available for an invite.

 

Some Examples:

 

Name - AFK  (Toggled by user or no input received in X Time [30min?])

Name - InGame (Toggled by system only) 

Name - Busy (Toggled by user only)

Name - InDojo (Toggled by system only) 

 

 

I didnt see a forum section targeting chat/players so I apologize if this isn't the most appropriate section.

Steam does something similar to this.

True but i dont keep all my Warframe friends in steam

The whole chat system is based on IRC, so it should be possible implement a custom status command, amongst other things.
