CH33F
While playing through today's potato alert, I started thinking about what would happen if I threw my Tesla into a river. The water would serve as a conductor and shock just about everything that was in the water at the time. The same with Volt's Shock. This could be used (especially in the upcoming Grineer maps which apparently feature much more water than we have now) this would be an interesting and fun mechanic to play with. Everything in the water would be stunned, much like Corpus when shot with electrical rounds and would deal a fair amount of damage. Another thing would be freezing the water, which would also freeze all enemies taking a swim. Any subsequent enemies would slip and slide all over the place, and would have a hell of a time trying to get around. This affect would also be applied to players. Another thing would be to add more dynamic events like the Corpus ships coming into the docking bay and letting all their robot minions out. Wouldn't it just be awesome to shoot out one of the engines on a ship, and watch it hit another ship in a huge explosion? I would rather it not be scripted, and let it all go to physics, but that would probably take too much programming. Anyways, I think this game needs a lot more interactive things that affect the battlefield as you fight enemies. It would make this game a lot more interesting and fun to play, and that will definitely increase the replayability.
