Medusa's unique abilities use mono-filament or laser whips, these are single molecule strands held together with a technology similar to shields. Since the mono-filament is only a molecule across it can cut through virtually anything. Here is the trailer for Johnny Mnemonic where mono-filament is being used around 1:25 and 1:38. Another good use of mono-filament is in the movie Spriggan around 2:10 Medusa would have dread lock like tendrils and tented with a mirror-like finish. There would also be visible circular slits that go around her arms and legs that the mono-filament can extend from. 1 - Lash Whip - 25 - Medusa extends mono-filament laser whip from her hand and strikes down a single unit at mid-range. [Ranks deal more damage] 2 - Laser Field - 50 - Medusa produces mono-filament from all appendages and torso, Her hair extends into links held together a foot apart by mono-filament. Slashing the air around her greatly reducing incoming ranged damage while damaging enemies that are in melee range. [Ranks extend duration] Alternate 2 - Flip Slash - Flipping forward while dismembering and beheaded enemies in her path. 3 - Gaze - 75 - Medusa gazes at her enemies as with laser field countless laser tendrils extend out slashing, maiming and killing. Damage is dealt in a wide cone that extends thirty feet or so. [Ranks increase damage and range moderately] 4 - Field of Blood - 100 - Medusa makes a laser whip in each hand then violently slashing in a large radius, slicing through foes while avoiding allies. If the ability is used in a corridor the tendrils travel in both directions a further distance using the same volume as an open room. Dealing massive area damage. [Ranks extend range] EDIT - Alternate effect when Medusa uses Field of Blood her tendrils are nearly invisible, then they glow (the color chosen for Energy) before snapping back into her warframe slices all effected enemies into kibbles and bits. Can I suggest swapping Lash Whip out, replacing with a reduced damage version of Gaze and adding in a movement utility as power #3? Slither?
