Ammo And Weapon (Slightly) Overhaul.

Yep, I know, you might be confused with header and send it to weapon feedback, but what I suggest is not only about arms. Some of suggestions don't fit WF part.

 

1)Disable free ammo refill.

Yep. Ammo don't grow on trees and Tenno don't have stable source of them. Why do you think extra boxes cost that much?  It won't hurt gamers on late, but sure will give some discipline and reason to actually aim while will be rush-discouraging in early game. Also, bit of sense.

Off course, it does not mean that you should spend 2k credits to buy ammo if you are on zero. Differentiating ammo prices and discounts on any ammo up to "standart" quantity would be reasonable. Let's say, 250 credits for full refill, scaled by % of ammo actually needed to meet the maximum ammount.

2)Swap some ammo types.

It does not make sense that some weapon draws ammo from invalid pool. Off course, you can say that it is intended and stuff, but having 545 rockets for Ogris definitely makes no sense. So:

Ogris,Torid, Kunai and Despair should draw ammo from Sniper ammo pool. Trick mag will let you compensate losses of ammo pool for Kunai and Despair, but this cutoff will make them more situational than now. 

Bronco and Bronco Prime should draw ammo from Shotgun ammo pool. To compensate, they should be switched to Shotgun mods as well, giving them good potential in late-game. To prevent being too OP, they can get a slight damage-over-distance dropoff.

3)Let the partial pickup

You lack of one cartridge to fill the ammo pool, you take a box from the floor... where are the other 9/19 gone? They should remain on the floor.

 

Optional: Bulk buying the shared ammo for clans.

You know, buying 50k rounds should have some discount in it.It will also give some sense of being one, not just a bunch of individuals that gathered up simply to get clan weapon. You can say that it will let the trolls to dump these, but it easy countered by adding option to limit ammo distributed to person per Succesfull mission/Day.

3. eh, not bothered by this either way honestly

o. bulk buying is a good thing, and they should let us do that. doing so via clan is not such a good idea. there would be far too many ways to abuse it and it would cause infighting for no good reason.

That's where it would be the most threatening

Don't get me wrong, I made another account and spend plenty of time to look at it. It's more about psychology, not actual harm. Like leaking one health per second - neither a big deal on pure math, nor on the sober practice.
