Melee Auto-Targeting and running targets

So, this is something that I recall having happened once that caused me to turn it off.  I turned it back on again recently, and noticed that it's still a problem.  When targets are running, the auto-targeting makes it where most of my swings, if not all, don't hit.  This happens with Machete-type weapons, and I'm certain it'll happen with smaller weapons like daggers as well.  Not sure if the fix would be particularly easy, but one would be appreciated.

its just the range and speed of the wepons m8. the machety is comicly slow and rather short so hitting fleeing baddies is abit tricky with short and slow wepons. try a great sword or a whip, or a sword whip if it tickles your fancie. but i have also noticed the melee auto target aims a little low. with my chroma swinging down at the mid section on baddies rather them smahing them in there dumb faces for the crunchy splat that i do so desire. but evething splats with the galatine prime so i cant complain.
