These need to be included in the tutorial.

Also the Shield booster should trigger automatically at a user defined health level. Considering how fast your shields recharge normally, unless you have 200 shield or health you don't have time mid-combat to trigger the item.

Auto triggering of health packs could be nice too.

Don't know about auto triggering, as there have benn times I didn't want to use an item even at low shields or health. But a hot key to use an item you have already slected in the item menu would be great. The times I really need a health or shield boost are in the middle of combat where I don't have time to open the menu and click on the item.

The hotkeys to trigger these items could be bound to numpad specific or a "double tap" of poping the menu to use the item selected.

I agree for the hotkeys, I remapped my skills for more convenient keys/buttons for myself, I have my 1-8 keys free now, that would be much easier to use consumables. That's the way I use them in Mass Effect 3 MP, and it workfs fine.
