Best Way To Mod Up A Cronus

I have a cronus and I love it tooo much. Can someone help me correctly mod this weapon so I can bring it to high level places and still kill stuff? thank you :3

 In general I agree, but some punctuation is definitely necessary! 

 

If you are willing to potato it then you've got a lot more flexibility. 

 

Sundering Strike is a must, along with Killing Blow, Reflex Coil, and Fury. if you can get any of the dual purpose mods like Rending Strike or Focus energy then all the better.

 

After that if you have any space you can fill it with elemental mods.

 

Grineer - Fire + Ice (for shields)

Corpus - Electricity + Ice (for shields)

Infested - Fire + Ice (for the slowing effect)

 

That will set you in the best stead to combat higher content, however people are generally of the opinion that other weapons are better suited to doing the job. IMO if you really like using the weapon that should be enough. The game should be fun, and not all about having the biggest stick. Personally, my favourite weapon (because of its damage and utility) is the Orthos. But then someone will almost certainly come along and call me a fool for not using the Fragor. To each their own :)

As others stated above. Mod it for maximum charge speed + damage. The Cronus lacks armor piercing damage on normal attacks so it kind of hits a brick wall a few levels upwards.

You really should think about this part too if you're new to the game. Soy was wording it very mildly. Melee is barely viable on higher levels (maybe on Loki and Ash?), and longswords are pretty much somewhere on the bottom of the weapon food chain.

 

Just think about it if you're on a short supply of potatos.
