Defense Mission/won't Start/lost Stalker Drop

So my friend was on Miranda (A defense mission) on Uranus and he got the stalker event. We were on teamspeak, so I quickly joined in because he just got his frost prime [im jelly] and didn't have any good weapons to kill it with either. I join and DPS it down. This is only the second stalker I've ever seen (first I've ever killed) and I got a drop for a dread blueprint (This is my first drop from a stalker). But after the stalker was gone, but defense mission didn't start. I have to leave that blueprint behind.

Unrelated note, I couldn't even do Corpus void missions because the targets would glitch and not die. So this is now the second thing glitches have claimed from me. Even if no staff reads this, I just need to vent.

TL;DR
Me: "Can I have cool stuff please?"
Glitches: "LOLNOPE"

You could try a support ticket. Otherwise, it just kinda sucks.

 

I am wondering if we'll get the same 'don't be so entitled' crowd in here that are all over the Arid Fear threads...
