quick idea for continuing endless missions

we all know its pointless to continue an endless survival past 20 minutes unless testing frames, blagging rights and so on..

hearing what was talked about on the latest dev stream where Scott said "we cant read players minds" sparked an idea, why not give players a vote to remove an item off the rewards table at the end of the rotation! and get to remove a single item after every rotation thereafter.

This way players still get increasing difficulty and a higher chance of receiving what they came there for, only if they are willing to stay for it!.. split votes between items could also be decided by RNG to get removed!?!?

Just a quick thought that popped into my head,
