Maybe A Solution For The Prime Weapons/warframes?

a lot of people that worked/are working on their prime weapons or warframes would probably not want to make their weapons or warframes just skins, and would hate that they should craft the normal version of the weapon, but a lot of people wont make/charge/polarize normal weapons because they fear that they will release prime versions of them.

 

my idea is that if you make a prime or normal weapon/warframe, it works as both a warframe and a skin. this means that if i make frost and potato-charge him i could later make frost prime and use him as a skin, while keeping the potato and the little bonuses of being frost prime.

the same thing if i make frost prime first, i have to make the normal frost to use the his skin (that sounds creepy) with my frost prime.

both skins/warframes could both share the same mastery levels or maybe not, that decision should be decided by DE

Too much. You have to have it one way or it just gets confusing. They should just make them skins. The idea its self isn't bad its just adds unneeded complication.
