Lephantis Minute Timer Issue

I don't know why exactly this happens, but there seems to be either a glitch, or needing to kill one of the Heads fast enough at Lephantis' Second Phase, because if I don't, the game would give me a minute timer before my mission had failed. At first it was because doesn't want you to spend so much time on a boss. But there had been only one time were I managed to kill one of the heads the timer randomly stop. Other times the timer isn't even there, and i had spend over an hour just trying to kill the boss wth Excalibur. Yet I use someone like Chroma, and still somehow manage to fail, and that mission was around 35 minutes, which is a huge gap of time saving. I don't exactly get what's going on. I Piratically know to defeat him with more ease, but the Failure timer stops me from trying to get Nekros. and I'm almost done getting him. I just need his Systems.

There's a timer in missions. If you go for WAY TOO LONG without killing ANYTHING that timer starts.
