Flux For Popping Venom?

I currently have a 2 forma'd sobek with max puncture for popping venom, it works out amazingly. I am looking to forma another weapon and I am wondering if flux would be a good choice as saryn is my main.

 

Note: I have a 2 forma's acrid... and it is kind of currently beating all my primaries in single target dps.

yes and yes.

i use to main saryn too till i could never find a good vaub/frost to hold the pods. flux does work for poppin those venom zits.
