I was spinning the cylinders, looking are the symbols, and Ordis butts in and is like,
here, let me get that for you, and locks three of the five cylinders to what I guess are the correct ones,
because I can't spin them anymore.

I exited the interface, and re-entered, and they are still locked in place.

When a game holds your hand, it suggests the game developer thinks you aren't smart enough to figure it out on your own.

I....actually agree. I was busy solving the cipher and almost immediately I get assisted aid which I really did not want whatsoever as I had just figured the whole thing out. At the very least, increase the assist timer or add a prompt or something.
