whitejackale
The title says it all. But here is a short explanation of the idea. Currently our sentinels are pets that follow us around and perform certain preset actions. Although they are nice to have around, they could be greatly improved by giving us the ability to manually control them. Not only that, but we should be able to place video feed of our sentinels cameras on our user interface. The following are a few examples of what could be done with manually controlled sentinels. 1) Manually controlled sentinels could be used to get into places that the warframes are unable to reach. For example, the sentinel could be manually controlled to go through a small hole in a wall in order to activate doors or any other kind of device on the other side. 2) Manually controlled sentinels could be used to scout out areas. This could give us the ability to get a better view of the terrain for stealth operations. 3) Manually controlled sentinels could be positioned in a specific place before given advanced commands such as defend, assault, cover fire, and so on. 4) And of course we would be able to manually use the weapons and abilities of the sentinels. It would also be interesting for us to be able to control our sentinels after we use up our last resurrection. 5) It would also be interesting to be able to do certain missions from the point of view of a sentinel while assisting other players to complete their mission. DirtyHobo
:D First example totally took the cake on the whole suggestion. There's an old game I remember playing as a kid with the same mechanic in it.
