No Weapons Or Abilities Before Start Of Dual.

This has become a small problem, mainly because Torid can place down gas clouds and deal poison to you as soon as round starts.  Vauban can caste his Bastille before round begins and even put down tesla orbs.  The fair thing is no abilities or weapons be usable until after the official round starts.

Game not balanced around PVP. Look for clanmates that aren't buttheads to duel with. For best results, duel with the same Warframes and don't use clan weapons.

 

That is why the problems should be brought to light so they can be fixed.  It is a small clan, not full of buttheads, but some seem to want to  be cheap with a dual.  Making it so weapons and abilities cannot be used till after the coundown hits 0 is one of those things.

 

*If a mod sees this can you move it to dojo thread.  I thought it would fit under gameplay, but it seems someone has a problem with that.

Pvp can be easily won by the warframe with the best Crowd Control.

 

So if nothing can be used before the countdown, no one can  use defense skills and get overwhelmed by the first rhino charge/melee ground explosion/whatever that bury him to ground and to death.

 

On the other hand, some warframes become invulnerable if they can cast something before, like the usual Rhino with Iron Skin wich can wait for energy to come back and use Stomp without doing anything else.

 

If pvp is so much unbalanced, then there must be a control panel in the duel room where players can set up their own duel, like:

- Casting before count down yes/no

- Energy respawn yes/no

- Primary weapon usage yes/no

- Ultimate skill usage yes/no

etc etc etc

Yep, setting up duel conditions with your mates if you want to fight on equal grounds is the best option right now. Which frames should be allowed or not? Maybe everyone should only use the Excalibur with Braton, Lato, and Skana. Maybe melee only. This makes for more intense and rewarding duels.

 

Against people who just want to win for the sake of it? Bring an Ember with maxed Overheat and Focus. Then just calmy walk towards your opponent all Terminator-like and gun him down.

Hey I like this idea, I would support this.  But not saying names, we have a rhino that uses Iron Skin, covers the ground with torid rounds, and before coundown ends try to land a torid round on you so the DOT will kill you when match starts.  Ultimately limiting the powers and weapons before the rounds start would make things more fair.
