Zakalwe
"Tyl Regor's initial studies into Orokin technology caused a divide amongst his people. Many considered the technology a danger, and lobbied for the destruction of all Orokin artefacts. Moving his research to a hidden location deep inside an infested system, Regor passed his knowledge and will onto the young Grineer scientist Varass Rodo. Soon after the placement, Rodo's research station lost all contact with the Grineer and has been considered a lost facility. Until now...Tenno, it is imperative you retrieve the technology held within the base. Varass Rodo has discovered a way to meld Grineer hardware with the stolen Orokin artefacts. We do not know the extent of his research, but intel suggest he may have discovered a key to Warframe technology."- Lotus--------GRUNThe Grun is a Warframe developed by the Grineer via seized Orokin technology. The Tenno were notified of the project just as the Grun frame was completed, they successfully infiltrated the development facility, destroyed the Grineer scientists stationed there, and retrieved the Grun warframe prototype. - -AcquisitionGrineer scientist Varass Rodo has managed to fuse Grineer Hardware and Orokin technology. He wears a Warframe of his own design.- The facility is a hidden base deep in an Infested controlled system.- The mission itself is swarming with Infested, and Rodo can be heard throughout taunting the player.- His taunts mimic those of the Infested Hive minds, suggesting further link between them and the Tenno.- It is clear Rodo's lust for power, his loss of contact with his people, and his apparent connection with the surrounding Infested creatures has caused him to lose his sanity, perhaps even losing control of his own mind to the infested Hive.- To the end of the level, he begins to mimic the J-3 golem.-Varass Rodo"Join me, Tenno. There are worlds to be sown with our glory!""Why do you resist? We are the same, we are transcended!""I... can feel them in my flesh. I.. can feel you!""We are countless. Consume us. Be reborn!"-STATSThe Grun has an aesthetic link to Grineer hardware. It has extremely low base shields, but compensates with a very large health pool.It has high movements speed, and low armour.Shield Capacity - 50 (100 at rank 30)Health - 150 (450 at rank 30)Power - 100 (175 at rank 30)Armour - 40Sprint - 1.1Polarities - 4 power, 1 Damage, 1 Tactics-PowersGrun's powers are based around utilising Orokin energy to re-purpose its weapons systems to negate enemy defences and increase its own. It is an offensive frame with the ability to support allies who remain nearby. Low defense is balanced by the ability to remove enemy shields and leech health from them. In the heat of battle, the more efficiently you kill the longer you can stay alive.Power 1 - Tics - Cost 25 energyActivate, and for x seconds all shots fired/melee strikes steal and return x amount of health.- Less effective versus shields- Ignores armour- Replaces bullet damage with life steal for the duration.Power 2 - Feedback - Cost 50 EnergyUse shield reserves to re-route power to weapons and servos. Increase movement speed by x and convert bullets to heavy plasma shots that are highly effective versus shields. Each shot depletes x amount of shields.- Can be used as a brief movement boost alone- Replaces standard weapon ammo and damage for the duration- Causes no damage to non shielded targets, chance to stun.- Depletes shields at a high rate- Only works with secondary weapon, adding to activation time if not already drawn.Power 3 - Torrent - Cost 75 EnergyAn Arua surrounds you with an x meter radius . Any team member inside the radius receives x% increase to rate of fire and draws ammo directly from their main pool negating the need to reload. Lasts for x seconds.- Aura disappears if any other power is activated.Power 4 - Gunboat Diplomat - Cost 100 EnergyUpon activation, your weapon cursor glows with energy for x amount of seconds. Hold fire once and drag it over enemies within x meters to tag. Once tagging is complete, release and press fire to shoot bullets that split and seek out all tagged enemies.- Ammo depletes as normal- Each hit is a critical- Risk/reward: you only have x time to use: tag more enemies, or focus fire for longer on less?- Can only be used with Primary weapon, adding to activation time if not already drawn- Can be stacked with Tics----Feel free to comment, discuss, feedback, etc...This is just meant for fun, nothing srs.:3 Edited September 3, 2013 by Zakalwe
