Warframe Concept: Corpus Roc

Had this idea when carrying Grenade launchers while supporting the Corpus at the same time...

Poorly, the Corpus have heavy loses when it comes to the Grineer Heavies, especially the Grineer Napalm. So I thought of a proxy that could compete against such without losing the prior lore of the Corpus.

So, ROC became a thought.

It is named Roc after a mythological bird, rather than a real one due to despicable capability to annihilate its targets with ease by the extensive uses of its powerful plasma grenade pod, a set of powerful launch cylinders that releases energy balls of death simply by the flick of its own switch.

It is a Heavy unit for the Corpus with a mindset for revenge.

It spans a 1.25x the size of a Shockwave MOA.

--- Weapons ---

Corpus Grenade Launch Pod: Yes, those eight cylinders are the launchers used as a terrifying weapon to destroy a large group of enemies. The weapon set behaves as an auto-loader mechanism by having the "wings" closed before attempting to fire.

When an enemy is spotted, it opens the wings and fires a nasty volley of grenades, afterwards closes the wings to reload, then rinse and repeat.

- The grenades are fired at a decent distance of 10 - 15 meters.
- Explodes on contact.
- Each grenade moves at a speed of 12 m/s
- Deals Blast damage, like the Penta.
- Fires at a rate of 1 grenade per 0.75 seconds.
- Has a clip size of 8, shown in the picture.

Proto Shield Generator: It's technically not a weapon, though it is practically useful for the Corpus to go by. It'll be explained in the Strengths.

- Creates a large bubble shield where MOA's and Crewmen can stand inside with, covering a size of 5 meters, just as big as Frost's Snow Globe, though this has its own durability.
- About 500 shield points.
- This shield is movable.
- Weapons must have a penetration strength of 0.5 meters before piercing through the bubble.
- Can be strengthened by a Shield Osprey.
- Does not receive instant recovery of shields by the Shield Osprey, instead, the bubble can recharge continuously despite of recent attacks.
- If shield is destroyed, it requires a 5 second cooldown.

--- Strengths ---

- Its muscular build makes the ROC durable, resisting a mountain of damage through its large health pool and shield pool. Suggested values are 350 Health and 400 Shields.

- It can fire while moving, as long as it faces its target before doing so.

- The shield is cast when the primary shields of the ROC is reduced to 25% or when it has 3 - 4 of its own allies near itself.

- It is resistant to Stagger, though not against Knockbacks.

- Its devastating grenades can instant kill a player if the volley is taken.

- It fanny pack (head) does not take special damage like a regular MOA.

--- Weaknesses ---

- It can only move at a walking pace of a MOA.

- Requires front face to the target before firing. At a center angle of 45 degrees.

- Bubble shield is instantly depleted by Electric or Magnetic procs.

- Its special body part is located at the back... Its entire back.

- Other special body parts are located at the innards of its lowered wings. Making Sideways attacks viable.

- Takes traditional damage like a regular MOA.

- Knockdowns requires the ROC to recover twice as long than a regular MOA.

--- Overall ---

- A siege-type damage-dealing Heavy Corpus unit. Which can compete against a Napalm.

- Spawns at a level of 5.

- A unit that requires a different tactic instead of aiming for the head.

- Another support unit that can protect its own allies.

- A slow unit, which is uncanny to the Corpus. Minus bosses, like the Jackal.

I just want the Corpus have an even edge against the Grineer. :l
