Opticor Firing From Back

Sometimes, the Opticor will pop out of my hands and onto my back.  While there, I can still fire it, even though my hands are empty.  Though it isn't easy to see in this image, the beam actually fires from the barrel of the Opticor (at a preposterous angle, no less).  I can't tell if this is purely visual, or if the beam's path is actually different.

 

Reloading, using an ability, or switching weapons seems to fix the issue, but only temporarily.

 

EDIT: I just ran a mission with the Grinlok and saw the same issue.

This is a current issue with many weapons (all of them, I think). It's been in the game for a long time, actually. I have a lot of fun firing my Zorens as if they were dual pistols, too.

Yea, it happens after perfrorming a leap attack with your melee.

This happens with opticor more frequently than with other weapons. I get this bug almost in every mission.

I can confirm this being the case, and it happens with any equipped Primary and Secondary - they get holstered at random when using aerial melee.
