Ceres - Kiste - Mobile Defense - Syndicate Death Squad Bug.

Hello there,

 

There's a bug with this node involving Syndicate Death Squads that is quite annoying.

 

Anyways, if you are playing Mobile Defense here and get attacked by a Death Squad while protecting an active console, or if you active any consoles post-spawning of the Death Squads, the console in question glitches up and will not eject the hacking device once the timer reaches 0.

 

I don't know if this happens for Mobile Defense nodes in general, so I am limiting it to Ceres for now.

 

The only way to fix it is to hunt down any remaining Death Squad units, but it gets pretty bad on that node in particular because some of the Death Squad units usually spawn in the room that's behind those two locked doors that requires you to hack the two outside consoles before you'll be allowed to access the room with the third console. 

 

So basically, unless you get lucky with Ability casting, or have very high punch-through on your weapons, you're SoL.

 

Also, this is Mobile Defense, not Defense. We shouldn't need to kill these Death Squads to continue hacking consoles.

 

I'm hoping you can fix this.

Had that happening to me, i mean, at that time i didn't know why we were "stuck" there waiting and waiting

and nothing happened, but that must've been it. Eventually we aborted.

As I listed above, one way to fix it is to hunt down the Death Squad units, but sometimes it's difficult to do that because they spawn in the room with the third console which is impossible to enter if the two outside consoles are not hacked.
