[Alternative Helmet Question.]

Can I get the alternative helmet blueprint as a drop from the boss that drops the rest of the warframes blueprint? or can i really only get alternative helmet blueprints from alerts with a '?' reward according to the wiki.

You can't sell it while it is building. It only gives you an error message(yes i tried)

 

It is a bug that the Blueprint shows in your inventory (if you only have it once). It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes it shows the Blueprint when you craft something.

So I noticed that the blueprint of an item i'm building already is still in my inventory and can be sold.

 

Can I really sell it?

If I sell it do I get the items used and credits back?

[Using The Powers Of Excalibur?]

If you started with Excalibur you have to rank it up, you already have the mods. Every rank = 1 mod point. Click Arsenal and near your skills on the left there's a wrench icon you can see compatible mods on the bottom and you just have to drag it to one of the 8 slots above. The number on the mod represents how much mod points you need to equip it, there's also polarity which can be seen on the top right corner putting a mod on a slot with the same polarity will halve the required points to equip it.

 

Skills are bound to 1-4 by default.

[Rarity Of Gunslinger Mod?]

I've been killing a lot of Grineer and can't seem to find 1 gunslinger for my Lex. I got 45 hours logged and i've gotten 2 Flow mods that everyone seems to be looking for.

[Steam Backup Problem]

Sounds to me like the backup game feature is spazzing out and not picking up on which things to backup. Let me try and see what happens.

Starting count: 192 GB, 240 files, 16 folders

Attempted backup

Backuping up failed, gave the notification that my game cache might be wrong.

At this point in time, the size and file/folder count in the Warframe folder was the same as before attempting backup.

Verified game cache, verifier claimed 43 files were unable to be verified and claimed they will be downloaded again.

Starting this, the size and count of folders; 280 MB, 197 files, 16 folders

Redownload complete: count; 1,95 GB, 240 files, 16 folders

 

(Warframe launcher had to download new content & succeeded in download/applying)

Loggin in afterwards working as intended.

 

Seems to me Steam backup isn't working properly for Warframe. At least not on all systems.

Thanks, good to know it wasn't me. I hope just copy pasting the folder works since we got a slow download speed, the 1.4gb download takes me almost 6 hours.

[Steam Backup Problem]

Try deleting local game files and re-downloading the game. Seeing as you say you're missing stuff, try a clean install (delete the Warframe folder in the steam directory if neccesary  after uninstalling through steam)

Actually I already did that. After the first 1 GB download I even played and did 1 run so I don't think there were any problems. I logged out and exit the game to backup and got an error telling me to verify game cache and that's when it downloaded 1.2GB again. So I tried re-installing the game and deleting everything related to Warframe, downloaded 1.4GB, updated, backing up, same error and it's downloading 1.2GB again. 

 

I also checked the game folder the second time around, size was 1.8GB after downloading, after trying to backup and getting the error it's 400mb only. I'm not sure if the problem is steam or some file in the game causing the backup to fail.

[Steam Backup Problem]

I've had no problems backing up Warframe using steam before. After the update today which failed horribly for me and made me download another 1 GB I backed up the game for my brother since his update was failing too. Backup is going well until almost halfway through it fails and says try to verify game cache and it downloads 1.2GB again. What's weird is when check the game folder lots of stuff were deleted.

[Weird Update Problem.]

I know... another update thread. But I got a really weird problem.

 

I'm using steam to launch the launcher.

 

Like others have experienced, my updates errors during downloading new content. I tried the clear download cache and it downloaded another 1 GB so for the sake of getting to play I just did it. Download finished, game updating again and it finishes, everything is going so well i'm so happy. I logged out for a while and close the game to back it up for my brother and suddenly steam tells me it can't backup the game until it finishes updating. I thought it was just being weird since it wasn't updating anything, now I tried opening the game and it's downloading the whole thing again for some weird reason, 1.2GB.
