This started as a reply to another post about things being too expensive, which they aren't, but I started ranting and came up with a few ideas/tweaks to expand the MUCH NEEDED player base!

Cost of plat from store is stupid expensive.
Results of such: Few players, at higher $XXX per player, vs many many players, at a lower $XXX per player.
Balancing this or adjusting it over time in the opposite direction(from which it currently is now), would yield same $$$ intake as a whole, if not more, and increase player base.
I want to see more players on consoles. They need to combine ps4 & xbox networks, or seriously advertise on xbox free games(which is what got me started) and lower plat cost !!!!
More ppl on the HYPE Train, will spread the HYPE to others, like a virus, creating an exponential growth and/or replenishing quitters with newbies type system that is greatly needed!
All p2p games ive played, usually never adjust, or they adjust in the wrong direction, resulting in higher cost to continue playing, and a dwindling community.
Beginner/Plat packages & extras are a down right joke. Not a good incentive.
(Makes newbies think only the rich play warframe, and/or have to spend big money to be "equal" or have a chance at game.)
(No they should not add cosmetic only extras to plat sales.)
They should add boosters and an array of basic mods that are already 10p or lower in market that ppl don't even bother to trade or give away.
** Maybe even add First time purchase bonus of a non-tradable one time use item, that they can choose which frame or weapon to use on, and it automatically increases it to lv 30.
Quick examples of Store Re-Vamp.
(first time buyers only get the extras beyond plat, and allow them to purchase each tier w bonus's too)
$100 = 4,000 plat + (4) Automatic lv 30 "coupon/item type thing" + basic mods.
$50 = 1,750 plat + (2) Automatic lv 30 "coupon/item type thing" + basic mods.
$25 = 750 plat + (1) Automatic lv 30 "coupon/item type thing" + basic mods.
$10 = 250 plat + basic mods.
The game is not too "amazing" when you start out as a newb playing either F2P/P2P.
I only stayed long enough to get the whole picture/addicted bc of seeing higher leveled ppl playing on earth defense, which was a much later node(towards end of earth nodes), and even then, I don't think newbies stay that long even. So it also needs something more to grab the newbie players, and turn him into an excessive time player(earns plat) and/or a P2P users ect.
Just my quick thoughts. Hopefully my thoughts are taken as a "whole" and not torn apart bc of this or that.
Bottom line is more players are needed. This is my quick two cents. Share yours below.

Point of thread is how to increase player base. If it isn't plat that is preventing this, than what is?

They combined EAST & WEST servers on xbox warframe, because the amount of players is dwindling.
I dont think plat is too expensive *(from my position in the game MR23 with everything),
but put yourself in the perspective of new players, who play a few nodes, look at market and plat in store, and get the wrong impression and say adios warframe.

Since relics dont get changed now when vaulting occurred, like during the old Void Keys did, this will allow ppl to farm the vaulted stuff even after vaulted, keeping prices from going beyond a thousand plat, before they unvault re-release occurs which was an issue with frost and or ember previously.

Dont understand what was so hard with cores to level all of the mods. Im holding 2500 r5 gold cores, 3500 silver, 5500 bronze, and have every mod in game maxed if not multiple ranks and copies maxed. for sentinal mods i have duplicates including several r10 primed mods.
Hopefully you can sell endo if you have too much? anyone know? I am one of those ppl who sell the extra mods. I always used duplicates and or same polarities when fusing for the first year or until i only had cores to use.
It does sound like another good update that will make it easier and bring in new users to the game. im still waiting and hoping xbox and ps4 join networks still. xbox seems dead often no games. Hard to farm certain things at times, have to wait till when the masses get on. particularly credit farming.
Since talking about credits, im not happy with the debuff of credits. Jordas and other raids only got me playing them because of the credits. Not even worth it for me now. Can farm same if not double in same time on ceres or pluto. Ya arcanes are nice but i have all i need on all frames. Without credits you cant even sell your extra arcanes without discounting deeply in order to aford the tax!
If you cant sell endo, than it may be worth it for me and others to sell most if not all our mods before the change to grab those credits and again im coming from a position of every mod maxed. Dont need cores.

What makes yall think it will be any different than the boltor prime, telos boltor relationship?
Syndicate weapons will be same thing as well.
I like the syndicate versions best. Although there are few instances where the prime version might suit better. Boltor prime has higher puncture, but telos has syn proc and other stat features/variations. My telos is a punc, corrosive power house rapid fire machine gun with faster flight speeds than B.prime.
Sancti prime will just be for exp mostly. Even with any stat varition increases from reg version.
Waiting for syndicate weapons.
Hoping banshee prime and tipedo prime next though. Followed by Oberon prime during xmas! ?

(Also the current plat to credz exchange in shop is a complete an utterly a JOKE! Add a seperate plat only spin lotto game in game or both. 5 or 10 plat a spin? Win up to 20M or 50M credz if you really lucky (1:1000 spins?) Something like 5000 plat spent would yield me 50 to 100M credz? Just a thought.)
Lets not forget the main issue, alternative log in creation preferably via warframe app.
Let me also say that Lots of us only log into xbox, claim log in, and get right back off. Cant play 24/7. So there should be no reason to not add this feature.

It does really blow that there is no alternative method to logging in to collect your daily rewards.
You cant stay competitive if you dont since there are now primed mods available only through this mean.
Am I forbidden to take vacations, travel, holidays with family ect bc of this? Cant go to tennocon either?? without losing reward points if you will...
I cant take my xbox everywhere if i was to leave my home for any extended leave.
Im already 14 to 20 days behind the most possibly log in. Now im facing an extended leave of 60 days..thats gonna hurt me when i cone back for a month and others will have primed vigor. By that time I expect new clan wars or updated PvP modes.
Alternatives to this dilema I seek.

They should be sold for plat equal to a ratio of what they were from prime access packs. Example selling pyra prime for 800 or so plat. This will not undercut past buyers and make available for new

I want to buy the accessory pack just like the Ash accessory pack, but since EDO Armor (volt Pack) the packs have gotten worse in total attractiveness.
It is not to hard for them to send out the gene kit to everyone who bought prior to an update along with anything else they need to add to spruce up the accessory pack, that is if warframe is after money anyway :[)

Such an ugly armor shoul not give stat bonuses since it will force us to use such cosmetics (in turn, being a bad game design)
If the kubrow prime armor adds stats, than all kubrow armors need to as well and prime should be better maybe. Question is than does Edo prime and the sentinal prime armor add anymore stats the the normal version?

Here. Here's ur fugly as requested. It took a hint from rhino n smashed a void key on Its face. The leg armor is a solid piece that doesn't look like it should be able to move, the arches on the back of the neck overlap whenever it moves.
Wow i been searching internet for a good picture of the armor. Thank you for providing an accurate image of what is for sale since they failed at doing such in the market place.
I agree very very ugly. Why do most of the armors hide your patterns & lotus symbols...don't they understand that was the whole race/point everyone has been attempting to gain!
Dammit Ive been waiting weeks to buy another A.Pack and now I am disappointed extremely. Kubrow armor looks like a child created it 5min before class the date of it being due!

Hoping that's wrong as again that's lame.
All they needed to do was buff up the accessory pack a little more. People who pay for the main category get what they're paying for, instant access etc. and the platinum, shouldn't really be a necessary unique thing in there.

the whole thing is a rip off because kubrows suck and shouldn't have made it prime access at all.
-Sentinals out perform kubrows in every way. The sunika giant transformation that happens should be the size of all omegas! Than if ppl stil like the short growth take down of sunika than keep it. Guess what Im getting at is some big overhaul is needed for kubrows. Chesa kubrow was a joke version of carrier.
The images provided of the stuff included in the Accessory Pack is very vague! Its like buying a car from 100 yards away and all you have to go on is what you can see!

They could downgrade serration to rank 5 like point blank, refund the credits & cores for the difference, than release the primed serration mod.
^^They did something similar recently, cant remember what though. But they did refund credits/cores on something recently.
I cant see them adding anything over rank 10 mod.
