  1. Change to Protea’s dispenser should be Considered like wisps motes. Perhaps the ability to place different types of dispensers and permanent like wisp?

    I think taking away the ability for “artillery” to be synergies with volt is silly. And It should scale like flechette orb like Vauban.

    Temporal anchor is kinda awkward, and I wish it was just a rewind of previous positioning, without all the anchor part

  2. Operation Scarlet Spear has been the topic of discussion for the last month as one of the worst events in warframes history. I disagree.

    Before we begin lets understand the state of warframe prior to the release of scarlet spear, and why its important to the players participating in it to acknowledge the effort made by DE to at least make something for us.

    In Mid December during the game awards, Warframe Empyrean (Railjack) was announced. This was a complete awful release with countless bugs, the developers going on vacation, and the community was left with a bad taste in their mouth. In recent months, rail-jack is still buggy, but at least playable, unlike the first few weeks of release. I am a player with all rank 10 intrinsics that I earned through just passive regular game play, and not intentionally farming. The End game of Railjack just doesn't feel rewarding is my feeling, and that carries into scarlet spear as well.

    In scarlet spear you have 2 Choices, Space squad or Ground Squad. Ground teams are reliant on DPS and Crowd control, while Space team is reliant on Crowd Control and the ground teams Speed to send codes. The Space squad portion of gameplay is some of the most boring content I've played in the last 7 years. Over all it wasn't fun. Space to me from my view is using your Railjack to just Taxi your whole squad to the Murax, have everyone go in it, then sit around like Mobile defense, while hopfully getting kill codes. I've done runs where I do all 5 muraxs in about 13-15 mins. I literally didn't play. I teleported to teammates, pressed Q/activate Squadlink and a CC move, and waited out the kill code timer. Overall, boring gameplay. This is a core issue of the event its self, not a warframe issue.

    In Ground squads, you travel from one point to another, potentially predicting squads, and killing 17 condrixs within 20-27mins with a good team, all while sending kill codes to space. This part of the event is Interactive and fun, during the killing portion, but once again devolves into sitting around, doing nothing for about a min each Murax. The core gameplay of the event is once again what the issue is being criticized.

    Rewards. The Rewards consist of 2 Unique event weapons and all arcanes, which have been in the game since the launch of Trials/raids, so basically nothing new, just more easily obtainable.The rewards seem lackluster. Doesn't seem like too much creative thought came into play, but that is just what we see. In reality, we were supposed to get Primary Kitguns with this event, and that was pushed back into nightwave's impending release (inb4 DELayed). So with that in mind, we have to understand that sometimes the ideas are there, and they just don't get communicated or executed within the time frame the team wishes to put them out. It is understandable, DELays happen and its nothing new.

    The core gameplay of railjack is boring, and doesn't bring anything fun to the game that makes me want to play it besides "oh its new content, might as well do it because i have nothing else to do" mindset of players. This is something that is being worked on and implemented in most future content moving forward, like implementing Squad link to users in regular missions or survivals, or even with the plains to air, like shown in Tennocon.

    Scarlet Spear is the matchmaking tester of this system. I can clearly see that this was to more or less stress test the system, before finally implementing something more permanent later in the game. It is a good creative step. I've been looking at events more like "social experiments" which tests players creativity, and allows for DE to catch stats and create nerfs or changes to the game, like with Healing Defense points, or how in Hostile mergers we were finally given a enemy level cap of only 9999 because %% / Scaling abilities at higher level are just too good not to use. The balancing of the game I feel should be up to the players to take on PvE content, with DE taking more of the approach of making sure we have the tools to take on their challenges, but it is up to use to use them in a way that is satisfactory.

    What should DE do to make Scarlet Spear fun? Nothing. Event is boring, but still rewarding. I my self have about 1million score. Its more of a way for DE to evolve as a company and make balances to the game that will affect the overall future of the game. No body is forcing you to participate in the event, it is optional. The main reason I am running the event is to collect and gain flexing rights. Its just a game. DE will not abandon warframe's players.

    Communication is important for the success of large scale games. Making sure your community managers are giving accurate information, that your designs teams are working on projects effectively and aren't working on memes like the Hydroid/Zephyr Prime Trailer that was already late enough for players to loose interest. The priority should be not overloading your teams, working on projects that are meaningful to the game's overall experience, putting out updates that aren't broken on launch, and maintain your players interest in the game by involving them with choices within the game.

    Most partners in this game are criticizing the event, and that is ok. Positive or negative feedback is healthy for growth. If players don't play the game due to a single event, then they will be back for the next one. It is business and DE does a great job at keeping players over the last 7 years, growing to the point of being a top competitor for Top Steam charts.

    Players are allowed to have their own opinions, such as my self. This post is NOT to make anyone upset, create hate toward DE, or targeting any individuals.

    TL;DR This post is in support of the development of the game. Scarlet Spear is boring, but is necessary to the growth of the game.

  3. I was telling some other tenno that the "Broken Warframe" Fan concept got accepted...

    Discussion on what it would be came up.

    We laughed at the idea of its default animation being something similar to a T-Pose, Maybe with periodic Arm Movement, with its head periodically disappearing in the arsenal. 

    These are some of the things we came up with.

    -Its abilities would at random say "Ability already in use"

    -The Warframe would just run in place periodically, not matching up with the movement or direction of the camera, sometimes moon-walking while sprinting.

    -One of the abilities we thought would be funny was that it can change the perspective of the camera to be something  flipped or inverted like how when guass goes "Too fast" or when players hit "H" on their keyboard for the first time. 

    -Overall, make this frame more disliked than limbo in every mission besides Scarlet Spear was also discussed. 

    -The frame can randomly get stuck on walls or objects, and fall through the map periodically for no reason as a passive. 

    -The weapons can just drop or get automically switched or just not fire at all for no reason.

    -The Game can freeze periodically for no reason (only as a visual bug, more like a frame drop) on launch of the mission for a random period of time (realistically 3-20 seconds).

    -You can use melee while downed (Visually)

    -If you heavy attack ground slam, you get locked in the animation or ground slam the ground 100 times in a period of 30 seconds while also being able to move.

    -You can attempt to trade this frame, and Trading this frame results in "Trade failure Unknown"

    -Exalted weapon can be a melee that you hold like a pistol that has awful accuracy

    -You can move around while doing dancing or idle animation like "Sitting or Handshake or Meditation" as examples. (No shawazin)

    -Can't pickup resources periodically, and they just follow the warframe around and don't get collected unless you go operator

    -Has a Kavat Kubrow Hybrid Companion

    -One of the abilities costs too much energy to even cast without mods

    -Pressing esc spins you around at Mach 10 like when you open your inbox in your orbiter sometimes or like how the "Iron man statue" in the personal quarters looks like to squad members.

    These were some fun ideas we came up with. Not sure how DE will create the broken warframe, but I look forward to their concepts and ideas.

  4. Warning; Multiple Opinions detected

    I re-read the patch notes section 5 times before even preforming any tests regarding these status changes.
    I don't really feel these were tested in high teir gameplay. A lot of the status effects now feels they are under preforming, mainly due to the 0.25x change to how elements get proced vs IPS that got snucked into the mainline.
    What this does is not only make the past 7 years of warframe build videos and testing irrelevant, but undermines the effort of the community's creativity aspect in my opinion. Things change and some change is good.

    Me venting about Corrosive; Some things needed to be addressed about how corrosive was used by a lot of people to strip armor 100% permanently, but guess what, so do a lot of warframes. Oberon can strip armor 100% at 335% power strength, Vauban can strip armor 100%, Frost can strip armor 100% for the duration of his Avalanche, Grendal Can strip armor 100%, and there other frames that can preform similar feats such as these. The idea that forcing corrosive to be a 26% base and a 6% additive every other proc is a great idea, BUT the cap of 80% is just not needed. It needs to able to strip to 100% and stay Stripped. Are you telling me that the ARMOR of a Grineer has the capability to regenerate at the speed of a HIGH END NOMU From My Hero Academia? And not just a Lvl 9999 Heavy gunner either. A Lvl 1 Basic Lancer has this capability. I get potentially making it so Higher end ELITE UNIQUE types of Grineer having a ARMOR Corrosive REGENERATE function, or Armor that can repair it from being melted, it makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that EVERY Grineer unit has this function built into their suit. That most cost a LOT of credits, and we all know that clones really aren't worth the funding to keep alive based on their Military Training of walking in a straight line to their death. Also anything I said about Grineer can be applied to any unit with armor etc.

    Slash is fine, doesn't need to be changed. I like the Shield gating part and that MAKES SENSE. Good idea.

    Impact... no body liked you to begin with, why do you keep coming back to haunt us. Impact needs to be revised again, with the 0.25x chance of procing change, it just makes everything so much worse to handle.

    Puncture is fine, doesn't need to be changed in its core, but maybe another effect like damage vulnerability to create a bit more variety.

    Cold is fine, doesn't need to be changed. It MAKES SENSE. Maybe add a Frostbite effect or something that procs at 10. Cold kind of goes unnoticed a lot of the times.

    Heat was ok, and having no change is understandable since it just got reworked, IF it was the old state of elemental changes. Having it base strip armor to 50% outshines the first procs of Corrosive and makes corrosive second guess its own existance currently. Currently I can proc Hundreds of Heat procs with high fire rate weapons, and it literally doesn't matter. Needs to have some sort of combustion similar to how impact has an AoE or Electricity after a certain amount of procs.

    Toxin, is fine, works as intended and doesn't need to be changed. Would be nice to see some sort of additional depth to it

    Blast is interesting, I don't really have much input there

    Corrosive... Yikes. I vented about my feeling about corrosive above. I get that 100% armor strip is scary, but for those of the community to engage enemies in missions with armor for over 2hours-16hours, it is basically a requirement. Can we strip armor with warframes? Yes we can. Should I feel forced to use a warframe because corrosive can't strip armor? No. Should I feel forced to use a weapon with corrosive because my warframe can't strip armor? No. There just needs to be a balance. The Scaling of warframe over the last few years is based on exponential graphics with numerical data. In practical missions, % based effects are the best thing any can have. With revenant, I can 1 shot anything in the entire game as long as I mind control it, and then dash through it if I have high enough power strength, but is that really how i should play? Balancing is the key to this. Fun vs Practical. For an average player, a level 300 or high Heavy gunner is a thing of fiction, but for endurance players with the time and arsenal, it is a daily occurrence. No doubt in my mind that Blessed pablo him self will come down from the heavens and give corrosive the treatment it deserves even though he doesn't like saryn, im sure that he has plenty to say about her and how viral works.

    Radiation, its cool but kind of a gimick but I get it I guess. Kind of makes taking control of enemies or summoning your own with Nekros etc to a point. To be honest, been thinking of just making a radiation weapon with status duration and letting enemies fight among them selves but i'll test that later.

    Viral is insane at early levels, I couldn't stop laughing. When 1 think breaks a hero emerges. Viral is that savior. If you aren't building for viral you kind of get left behind in terms of DPS

    Gas, Gas needs more scaling and damage increase. There are some smarter people who can go into detail why

    By doing this you kind of also make everything else proc more often. This makes builds kind of awful to use and spits on the creativity of players. If I have more than 1 element on my weapon, lets say Viral + heat, Heat and Viral basically have the exact same chance to proc, even though lets say my viral stat was higher than my heat. I feel this should be reverted completely. Infact I'd say that it was one of the main reasons why things were sort of at a good balance these last 7 years. 

    I understand Corrosive was over used and a bit scary for endgame content, but don't cut it out of the game, just bring everything else up to a level where players can be creative and make other combinations and unique builds. Perhaps a new Element is in order to reset this balance. In fact I think a new element is exactly what we need. 

    1 New element to upset the balance, creating new waves in the meta, new combinations of elements New element + existing elements = New Combination Elements, providing X effects made up by Blessed Pablo and only Blessed Pablo.

    I've been hearing the suggestion that we do something with the tower for a while now, and I'd like to just see it get some use. With the absence of raids, this was an idea that was shared with several members of the community that we utilize the tower in some way.

    With raids being gone for almost 2 years now, there has just been a hole that hasn't been filled that we crave. I know the hole we crave is not Warframe the BATTLE ROYAL haha. Bringing raids back in some way is what a lot of people want. The community and clans back in the day bonded with each other much more when we had to work with larger groups. I was hoping Railjack was going to be up to 8 players, and I feel the experience of railjack would benefit a lot if it was (after they fix all the bugs and loading of course).

    Unfortunately this is the problem with a Pier to pier hosting as warframe does. MMOs which have large servers to hold thousands of players are able to get away with this due to instancing. Im sure they have something inplace, and a good thing to tell with this is the loading and latency inside Relays, as they hold hundreds of players at some times, but the latency there is pretty bad. Back in the days of LOR, this was not really an issue with a good host, as the host was usually the one who brought they key, and you had to recruit people to your squad, which wouldn't be made Public, as the Raid Bus Server was formed in response to this from players among the community helping each other. The Lag wasn't really that bad, but the Frames is what suffered the most if many people brought frames with high particle effects such as Mirage, which was used at the time to do mass blinding, but what nerfed when her 4 wasn't able to go through walls.

    Back in the days of LoR and Jordis Verdict, inadditon to the raid being between 3-4 load sequences, there was also content that required cooperativity , such as the standing on certain location to open the boss up to vulnerabilities. I am suggesting a CAP of 8 people, but not a requirement of 8 people, to allow for Smaller squads or even solo play.

    Not to the extent of Aincrad, but a floor system (About 100 Floors = to 100 Missions, that players can do over the course of a about a month and return to. This can be similar to Nightwave on a rotation of a Raid level boss

    Build a key similar to old The Law of Retribution system would be fitting, which will allow for platinum to be used to rush.

    Rewards can be similar but not the same as arbitration/Nightwave (Arcanes, Aura Forma, Umbral Forma, X Value of Kuva, Riven Mods, 3-10 Aytan Stars, Relics, Common or rare Resource packs (Similar to railjack) Greater Lens+, Cetus Resources in bulk (No fish) Unique RNG Weapons with RNG apperances and RNG stats (Similar to Kuva Lich/Railjack) )
    Rewards should feel rewarding, but not too powercreeped. Level balancing can be dependent on squad Floor or Mastery Rank of the group to allow for Solo Play, similar to already existing Boss fights and challenges

    A stat track system on profile similar to Eidolons to allow for bragging rights

    Reward Apperance Items/attachments//Ephemeras for bragging rights

    Allow for RNG based Items drops similar to railjack/rivens/kuva weapons or just include rivens in some way or form as a reward, or even a RNG Arcane or something completely new we've never seen before

    Lock it behind MR5/The War Within/ Or a Mid teir level quest, similar to The New Strange

    Force players to bring a frame which is level 30, Similar to Sorties

    Allow for Up to 8 players. The Technology is there to do so. We had raids for a long time until it became "niche content" and removed back in 2017 February. Rip Raid Bus. I blame Eidolons.

    Introduce 2-5 weapons that require a higher MR to use (MR 15-20+)

    It'll be kind of like Sanctuary Onslaught, but you can leave only every 5-10 floors to collect the loot and save your progress

  9. I think Polar Coil (Zetki) drops way to often and its affecting the entire drop tables in railjack. I currently own 75 as im typing this, and I've spoken with other clan members and they are getting similar results. At this point its just a meme, but it should be looked at asap.
