Hey man,
Thanks for the reply. Multishot is probably okay but unfortunately I want to be able to make a viral/munitions build so the negative status duration doesn’t work for me. Nice Riven though, you can get some serious DPS with that.

Looking for a Sybaris Riven mod with:
Damage
Critical chance or damage
Toxic damage
decent negative (prefer ammo max, zoom, flight speed, etc)
ideally with decent rolls on the various stats. Polarity/MR irrelevant.
Let me know if you have such a Riven and what you’re looking for.

I'll take Vcetis Vexi-Critaata. Still travelling for holidays, earliest I might log in is tomorrow night. Hold it for me?

Looking for the following Vectis riven:
150+ Crit chance
Multishot
Toxin or Electric damage
reasonable curse (preferably status or ammo related)
polarity and MR are irrelevant.
This image I found online (but can't track the owner of, if it's you hit me up...) would be my ideal riven:
Paying plats, if you have a nice Riven that fits the bill let me know so we can talk price.

And the price? it's too high in my opinion.

Its because I think it's a waste of money on buying platinum simply for colors.
Great, don't buy them. Who cares? Your post says both a) you want the colors. b) you think the price is too high. Well, either you don't want the colors badly enough, or the price isn't too high. Up to you.

I only want to see them add more clan-tech if they also let us build items in parallel in the foundry. Building Fieldrons and the rest are a waste of time when you can just go run invasions. If you could at least build a few at a time it wouldn't be such a silly wait to get clan-tech that way.

It's like Prism, yes it's intended.

I like the rotations, I just think it's silly that going to 40 waves gives the exact same rewards as going to 20 waves twice. Especially when the first 20 waves are trivial with any team comp and half-decent gear. The only benefit to going to 40 is saving a key, if that's what you're using. Seems like there should be more. What if rotations went AABC ABBC ABCC ... or something like that? Sure it would complicate things, but it would reward players for playing more challenging content.
-
There are very clear and explicit plans to add more rewards to Syndicates... Why would you even assume there isn't? Plus, you happened to choose two of the less popular syndicates (RV and NL) so obviously you have an easy time trading your mods. Everyone who chose the popular syndicate (AoH and CS) has a harder time because there is more supply. Fortunately we lucked out with the generally better rewards so there is more demand as well.
Personally, I feel the fact that there is a cap on rep even once you're max rank (132k or whatever it is) is DE leaving open the possibility of adding more ranks. At the very least it prevents people from stockpiling rep to buy all the new rewards as soon as they're released.

Wasn't he scheduled to visit a destroyed relay during Eyes of Blight, and then he popped up at Kronia? I could swear I recall people thinking destroyed relays meant something until that happened.
No. His only three stops, all predicted by deathsnacks, have been Vesper, Kronia, Orcus, in that order. Deathsnacks is now predicting Vesper again, which can't happen since Vesper is gone. So it remains to be seen if we get punished for losing the relay by losing BKT for another two weeks, or if DE moves him to a new relay.
Personally I bet they switch schedule. He's a merchant, it's not like he doesn't see that Vesper might be destroyed and not make plans accordingly. And in this universe it doesn't take long to move to another system. Plus this entire place would drown in a flood of tears if he didn't show...

Soma Prime is the best primary weapon in the game. (Can't downvote me here Boltor fanbois). Why would you be asking for a buff?
-
Booooooriiiiiiing. That's the exact opposite of progression. The biggest and best argument against removing Serration is that Serration and the other mods like it is the only way you have to "advance" in this game. You're going to the absolute marxist opposite of that, but that makes for a boring game.
-
I'll use my Sybaris as an example. If we remove the "must have" Serration and use the damage gain per level system, then i can use that extra slot in many ways:
I can use Critical Delay for more reliable critical chance.
Or I can use Fast Hand/P Fast Hand for more DPS.
Or I can use Bane mod for more DPS against certain factions.
Or I can use dual mods for elemental damage combos and more status chance.
Or I can use Shred for punch through.
Or I can use conditional damage/CC mod like head shot, back shot, legs shot, nuts shot, w/e shot when DE releases them.
Or & or & or.
A whole bunch of possibilities when we remove Serration and just let guns gain damage naturally. Eventually there will be alot of new interesting mods and that extra slot will enable a bunch of quacky builds.
Right, you can already do that with the slots you have available after Serration and Split Chamber. Why is one (or two) more slots magically going to make a difference? Why not just add ten more slots and infinite points and then you can customize to your heart's content?
The more realistic point that OP is making, and it's an excellent one, is that min-maxers exist, DPS is a readily min maxable stat, and removing Serration doesn't prevent it. There will always be optimal builds, so quit trying to pretend there won't be.
-
Split chamber would benefit weapons focused on utility, such as the Glaxion, because it doubles status chance, or use it on weapons focused on crits, as crits would proc more often
Err, that's not how math works. Criticals can be viewed as a flat multiplier if you look at expected value for damage. Split Chamber is a 2x multiplier, Serration is 2.65x. Unless crits only worked on base damage (huge nerf, all hail king Boltor P), the ONLY reason to use Split Chamber would be for status procs. Which means no one would do it.
-
No, instead of using fusion cores to level mods, you just straight up gain the value those cores give as a currency that can only be spent to increase the level of mods through playing the game.
We already have this system. It's called fusion cores. They're like a currency that can only be spent to increase the level of mods...
If you're most worried about trading, DE should just allow trading stacks of items.
-
It's not perfect, but any player above MR 10 has a maxed serration, the important corrupted mods, corrosive projection, some restores, and a knowledge of how all the frames work. A MR 4 player may have any or none of those.
And besides, it's the only proxy we have. You want a good player in your squad, there's only one way to gauge it.
-
I rate your build 8/10 just like your Hornet Strike.
In seriousness you could do a lot better, do you really run out of pistol ammo enough to justify slot spent on the ammo mutator? Do you know the Concussion rounds don't count towards your base damage? Do you know that Deep Freeze is a bad mod and you should feel bad for using it?
-
All the rewards are Archwing related. If you don't want to play Archwing, why do you care about the Archwing rewards? Just pretend there was no event this holiday. Log off and go love your family.
-
I agree a main quest would be great. It doesn't have to be KoTOR or Mass Effect level of detail, but there is so much cool lore that so far has only been hinted at, it would be such a shame to not give us some grand storylines.
-
I believe it happens if someone else picks up the ammo first. This also explains why you sometimes get an incomplete clip (4, 10, whatever) - it's because the person who picked it up only used 16 (their Boltor was at 524/540 say) so you get the remaining 4.
