  1. So I actually had that Idea quite a while ago but I decided to post in now since we're in that waiting phase for Melee 3.0

    The Title say pretty much what my Idea is but Im gonna explain it further.

     

    When you compare melees  with guns you'll see that you have more options with PewPew then you have with a Slice Slice.

    What I mean by that is let's say you fight against Grineer. If you go for high lvl missions you can mod your primary for the the Lancers and Heavy Gunners (corrosive) and your secondary for Bombards (radiation)

    With Melee though you can efficiently mod for only one type (and yes I know it is possible to have both but let's see that overall) and no for my example we're not in a squad with 4 CP.

    I'd have to hit them way more often or play a Warframe that can drain armor or well switch to one of the guns.

     

     

    But if the let us decide if we want to bring a Secondary Gun or a Second Melee that would change.

     

    You could then mode for two different elements aswell.

    but it doesent stop there you could for example mod your Galatin Prime, Tatsu, Atterax or whatever longrange melee you prefer for killing those large crowds and as secondary melee for example a dagger with covered leathality and play Ash, Excal , banshee or whatever frame that can finish on ability to kill the tankier enemies.

    there would be so many more options ( and maybe people would actually play dagger or other less used melee weapons then) (.....probably not)

     

    This wouldn't just add a tactical use but also a huge Fashionframe addition I mean Tatsu together with Nikana cmon that would be badass and totally not full weebmode.

     

    How does it work

    They could seperate Secondary category in the arsenal in 2 more : one being the gun and the other the melee.

    As for switching midfight hitting (F) switches your Melees while right click switches to your Primary just as it is now.

    They could also make the Combometer count for both.

     

     

    I know that for them to realize this it's a S#&$ ton of work also I wouldn't be expecting it to happen soon either

    it's just an idea to make melee even better also it doent hurt anyone since it doesnt remove anything.

     

     Im sorry that this isn't as detailed as it could have been but im not that gamemechanics guy so I leave that to DE I just gonna give the Idea.

    also befor you reply on this think about it in general and not that you dont need it because you do not play Melee.

    If you don't like the low drop chance, you really didn't want the cosmetic anyways. ESO farming is a great way to apply Forma to equipment, gain some Focus, and get kills. It's not the best game mode in the game, but it's a breath of fresh air to be given a chance at rare items outside of Orb Vallis.

    Which Challanges they've given us were to hard ? Also I didnt Calculate how many hours it would actually be that was said by how much it feels. And I totally dont agree with "would't be as special as a lowdrop chance" at all .just tell me with how many frames you can make it to Zone 8 without  a problem?

    You most likely see a bunch of Saryn sometimes a Volt or Eqinox and maybe a Octavia but thats it 80% of the time it is a Saryn. If they lock it behinde let's say a Challange like Survive one Hour without beeing downed in this (Insert Survival here) you're free to choose your frame you feel most confident with.

    And it doesnt have to be a Survival..  they have so many options to challange players.

I play melee only for about 5 years and I think that the part with missclicking is just musclememory I got used to it qutie fast but the one think I dont like at all is Channeling being toggle.. sometimes you dont even know if it is active or not.. which killed me alot of times in Highlvl survivals..

  4. Same here.. I'd rather have "impossible" Challenges to unlock the ephemera than being foced to play Sactuary Saryn Slaught for 300h to get those footsteps

    When they discussed the ephemeras in the devstream and they said its something veterans will be intressred in .. I kinda expectet challenges and not 300h of grind... I love this game but locking everything behind rng is not the right way

    Also the reason why we're not finished yet with what we still want to doin but we'll contiue this till it is done.

  6. Hello fellow tennos

    While I was playing Nioh (A pretty hard but awesome RPG) on PC I noticed that the Stance system in that game is pretty nice. For everyone who doesnt know how It looks like here an explanation :

    You got 4 stances ( For Katanas as example high, low, mid and in the sword sheath.) you can choos the one you want to use and you can combine them by changing them during the fight.

    one is for High dmg but slow attacks, another onw is for fast but lower dmg attacks and as you can guess one is between.. but have the sword in the sheath got a use aswell cause you can charge your sword and attack with a very fast and high dmg attack after charged... pretty much like our charge attacks.

    Ofc I know this is not transferable to warframe to 100% and I dont want to throw everything they did so far with melees into the trash.

    So I came up with a different idea and here is it.

     

    The system that you can change your Sword stance is pretty cool but what does the different stance do:

    My basic idea is that you're able to mix different sword stances like for example Nikana.. you got Blind Justice, Dicisive Judment and Tranquil Cleave.

    each of them has different combos you know those where you got to Press E E Pause E E , E HoldE .

    I actually dont like the current system because it's sometimes hard or impossible to do a certain combo while you're in a intense fight.

    And if you think now: why would you even want to do a certain combo.. well some combos allowe you to dash forward what can be awesome if you faught a group of enemies and the next group is 5m away.. a dashing combo would make the fight more smooth.

     

    So the idea is you can take certain combos you like and put them into one of the 3/4 stances (Remember one is for the charge attack) . and you can mix thjem between the different stances so you can build your very own stance how you like it and how it fits perfectly to you.

    to explain it even better: here and Example

    Low Stance : Final Verdict (Decisive Judgment)

    Mid Stance : Breathless Lunge (Tranquil Cleave)

    High Stance : Destined Path (Blind Justice)

    Sword Sheath : Chargeattack (Desisive Judgement)

    My Idea to change them is by blocking with your melee and scrolling with your mousewheel and the charge attack is how it is now... ( I actually had no better idea. If you got one pls tell them)

     

    The basic Idea is to simplify the combo system, allow more customization and being more effective in melee combat because it does alot more fun if you completly master your sword.

     

    It's 4am in the morning and im pretty tired when i suddenly had that idea and made the forum post so pls apologize grammar mistakes.

     

    Let me hear your thoughts and if you got ideas for improvement let me and the devs hear them.

  7. Hello fellow tennos.

    If you look at the Rising storm augment at the moment you could say that it isnt that usefull since Drifting contact and Body count exist. Sure you could say but hey it doesnt take a melee weapon slot but i dont think this augment is good in any way.... well here my suggestion:

    Bladestorm Dmg increases with combometer by 100% (so like the blood rush mod just for bladestorm) and only the phamtoms of ash attack cause i dont think we need that ( stuck in bladestorm animation ) so much.

    Do you think this would be op?

    Well then... wake up.. and tell me im which way since almost every dmg dealer is better and more energy efficient. I mean did you see how much energy it costs if you want to kill like 10 enemies? And in high lvl it's not even rewarding..

     

    So think about that and leave your opinion..

    As a player who did the Warwithin you might know that Kuva is essential if you want good Riven Mods... Ofc you could buy a "Godtier" Riven but we assume that you're a guy who does not spent hours of trading and focus in farming Kuva... Even though the Kuva Siphon is set in different missiontypes it feels pretty much every time like the same... ofc if you did it like more then 500 times.. Let's say you got to do 3 Kuva missions to reroll a Riven you already rerolled 10 times, once. And if you're like me and you got to reroll your Mod 82 times to get something acceptable you need like 250.000 Kuva... Well but i dont want to complain about that even if I did it... I want to get a bit of a mixup in the Kuva farm.. Did you ever thought why should I play a survival in the Kuva Fortress.. ? yes maybe it's time to change that, Let's get to the point "finally" , How about adding Kuva Caches to the Droptable for the Survival? like a 2000 or 5000 Cache? So the Kuva Fortress would have a reason to be played and it wouldn't even interfere with the Lore I mean the Tenno Operative is raiding the ship and why shouldnT he be able to raid a Kuva storage...?

    Let me hear what you think and dont say we dont need this when you're just a Forum guy who never actually plays the game this is for everyone who's farming all day..

  10. Hello there as you might know Ash's Smoke screeb ability is kinda bad... if you compare it with the fact that Naramon and Trickery exists... well for well knowing player's I dont need to say more..

    His augment atm makes friendly players invisible IF they are within a range almost never someone be to use it effective.

    Octavia does the same without an augment and way more duration... 

    So my sugesstion is to change the augment ao somerhing usefull.. for everyone in the squad..

    "Flashing Smoke"

    Adds a Flashlight like excals radial blind that stuns enemys for the duration of the invisibility.. that would add at least a bit cc to Ash and a agment that none uses would have a reason  to be played...

    Perrin Sequence leader Ergo Glast has intercepted disturbing communication from the profit-hungry Corpus, they are attempting to grow their military to dangerous and uncontrollable levels. Corpus Board Chairman Frohd Bek is inviting investors to witness the newest and deadliest Ambulas Prototype equipped with state-of-the-art processors called Animo. These investments will push the Ambulas Reborn project into full production.

    For Frohd Bek, Credit’s talk, and it’s apparent that he is deploying new Corpus technology to battles as product demos to display their lethality to his investors. Sightings have been confirmed on any Corpus planet region – this technology is not suitable for ship environments, look to terrain and open-air locations to engage.

    Work with Ergo Glast and fellow Tenno to halt Frohd’s project and disrupt the Ambulas deployment before they see widespread use.


     

    WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

    First things first: you need to encounter the Ambulas Reborn Prototypes head on. Frohd Bek is deploying them on new Condor Dropships. These deployments *only occur* on Corpus open-air surfaces - not ships! 

    Take down Ambulas in your encounters and ensure you Hack the target - this will release ANIMO BEACONS which can be used to hone in on the Ambulas facility.
    Once you have collected enough ANIMO BEACONS, you can head to the Ambulas Plant on Hades, Pluto for a final battle. Taking down Ambulas at the source will earn you a Supra Vandal and the peace of mind that you've helped put a stop to Ambulas's production.

    But these ANIMO BEACONS have other use...

     

     

    WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

     

    Remember: Ambulas will only spawn on Corpus OPEN-AIR regions.

    You can collect ANIMO BEACONS from Ambulas encounters in the following quantities:

    To encounter the final Boss Fight on Hades, you will need to earn a certain amount of Animo Beacons depending on if you are a Solo player or in a Clan.     What does the number mean you need for the trophy so example. ghost clan 60 - 120 - 180 - 240.. ? Are thes the numer of beacons we need or what?

  12. Pretty good idea there I actually thought riven mods would be somerhing like that but you guys know how it is... well ibdont want to say it's bad.. i finally can play my vectis with 100% critchance but to add these stats would be a great idea

  13. Since the Update Ash is controversial.. and I really think that the Augment "Rising Storm" isn't that usefull anymore when you can equip "Body count" or "Drifting contact" well here's a suggestion for a change that meight bring something great for him...

     

    Rising Storm Augment:

    Every Marked Enemy in Markmode will grant Ash +10% dmg to the Weapons and his Shurikens ability.

    Marked Enemys will only be attacked by his clones <-(But this is optional depending if you like it or not) at least would this give Ash player the oppertunity to play without the animation but still killing a lot of enemys.

     

    Let me here what you think and dont just say it's S#&amp;&#036;.. tell me the reason why you think so..

     

  14. Im playing Ash for almost the whole time I play warframe... and i really like the new update but I noticed that the castspeed of the invisibility is not effected by Natural Talent anymore..
    I wanted to ask if this is a bug or wanted from you guys.. and I know even though he can use the ability now while running and midair it's still pretty slow..

  16. Hey there I love my Ash and I never played another Warframe... The most of you the play WF a lot of time would now think :  Uhhh another Press 4 To win player but I can definitely say that im not one of these guys.. Well anyway We all know that Ash needs a rework.. why ? well what abilitys does he have ?  1. Shuriken or should i say waste of energy.. because every second shuriken does hit the wall right next to you?.. 2. Smoke Screen or should I say a worse version of the Naramon Invisibility (Shadow Step). you dont need energy for it, it wont go away if you jump out of map and respawn and you dont need to recast it..( Okey what i have to say is.. you got to play melee for the Naramon invis) 3. Teleport okey now you could ask what's wrong with that? maybe you cant teleport to enemys they are on stairs or sometimes the finisher wont work. 4. Bladestorm do I really need to say something? it's a press 4 to win and we all know something like that shouldn't be in that game. So here is my Idea how a rework could look like.
     

    All stats are just an idea so the real stats would anyway be made from DE.

     

    1 Shuriken : Ash can now choose between 4 different types of Shuriken ( like Ivara's first )

    1-2 second delay.

    1st : 800 Corrosive dmg and proc for 8 sec
    2nd : 800 Slash dmg and proc for 8 sec
    3rd : 800 Radiation dmg and proc for 8 Sec
    4th : 800 Magnetic dmg and proc for 8 sec

    Change for Augment : Shuriken  have a 100% chance to penetrade one target at max rank.


    2 Smoke Cloud : Ash deploys a Smokebomb that creates a Smokecloud  draining energy over time with a radius of 10/15/17/20 Meter ( Can be enhanced with mods ) . Blinding and making enemys that are inside the cloud open for finisher. If enemys from outside the cloud walk inside, they will get blinded and up for finisher. If they are outside the cloud and u use inside an alarming weapon they will blind shoot inside the cloud. If you try to cover a cryopod enemys that are not inside the cloud will know where the pod is and shoot it.

    Augment change : Enemys inside the Cloud will take 300% more finisher dmg at max rank. <-- you will ask yourself why is this augment usefull? Read the rework for the 4th first.. well maybe not usefull for you but your teammates and if you dont have enough energy for "Hidden Blade".


    3 Teleport : As it is now but after you teleported next to the target he creates a flashlight blinding enemys for 1/2/3/4 sec.


    4 Hidden Blades /Blade Storm
    Toggle ability : Ash's whole body starts to smoke and he will get his Hidden blades (Same Blades as Bladestorm (Effected by the Mods equiped on his Melee) with it's own stance just like another melee weapon with the difference that it works together with other abilitys If you teleport to a target during "Hidden blades" you'll always do a Leathal Finisher.. Same if the enemy is in the Smokecloud. If you've done a lot of dmg you can Hold down the Key for the 4th ability to do the Bladestorm but it will drain 20 Energy per second (Why?) because it stores the dmg you do during Hidden blade up and will deal the dmg you made to the Enemys During Blade storm so if you did just like 1000000 dmg it would deal 1000000 dmg but after the Bladestorm you got to farm the dmg for the next bladestorm agian...
    so that's what i thought to go away from press 4 to winn but still be able to Blade storm.

    I dont know about the stats of Hidden Blade I can just bring the concept.

    All stats are just an Idea the real stats like Power range, Energy drain, Dmg would anyway be made from DE.

I was finally able to get all 3 terminals without alerting them... but the one with the momorie part could only be done by making a vidoe of it with my Smartphone and watching it agian in slomotion.. well but okey i was able to get all terminals and the rewards... THE REWARDS!! are you @(*()&#036; kidding me? I wasted 8 minutes for Fast Hands, Target Cracker, and a T2 Capture.. no thanks never again

  18. Me and my friends play a lot of Warframe.. well every day since I registred and I feel bad to say that I got bored in WF because there's nothing more to do for me..

    But my Idea is to create something like a Hall of Fame, a room in the relay where you can see all records of all missions like survival, defense, interception.. It's already in the game i know

    but they are stored for one week and I think the best should be rewarded with fame.. what do you think ? But not only the mission scores even the Most Grineer killed, Corpus killes... or The most Focus/Exp earned.. (Then you could see who's playing Draco all day long ^.^) but okey if you agree with my Idea post your opinion or if you got an improvement proposal post it as well.

  19. @Akiryx sorry to say it m8 but you didn't understand the whole part.. I know that he get's invincible during the Bladestorm and that's nice but it would be nice if he would still be invincible for a few dec after the Bladestorm and as you I think he shouldn't be played by klicking only 4 and Im not sure if you read it... im not Bladestorming all the time.. so please think twice next time..
