  1. 4. What other Warframes do you think are largely ignored by the community? Please explain why in a comment.

I think in general the ones listed are largely ignored. But also frames like Mag and Vauban get neglected as well too. Some of Mag's powers are still pretty weak and are a result of nerfs by things that don't exist in the game anymore, for example Greedy pull being near useless because of Draco farming. With Interception Draco no longer being a thing, having greedy pull at its current state doesn't make sense. Vauban's minelayer has made using bounce and his 2 powers more clunkier since the player needs to hold the button to activate instead of a simple button press, while Vauban is still viable i feel the minelayer change was hasty and made using it very clunky.

    6. If you participate regularly in Trials, why do you do so? + Do you enjoy Trials?

I rarely participate in them not because i dont want to but it is because of the "culture" surrounding them. The culture i am referring to is the speedrunning sites that record player's time and # of times run on the trials. I used to run trials near daily before these sites popped up and stopped after that, now when i want to join as a casual play the recruit chat/host does not take me because those sites have not recorded my previous runs. As of now i have 3 records on http://wf.christx.tw/search.php?id=dual1020, but i know i've played more than that before. However, i do enjoy the raids because its something different, but i do not enjoy raids because of the elitist culture that is arising from people using these time sites. I understand that sites like these help identify a player who knows how to play the trials. But i do not understand why the ingame player profile does not show how many times or stats of trial runs.

  2. There are still a few bugs/problems that still persist from the beginning of the glast gambit patch.

    1. "Session cannot be found/host is full" bug when you join a public game. I've noticed during kuva farming that in my squad there will be people still trying to connect to the full squad. I've come to this conclusion because when i look at the squad chat, there will be short glimpses of 5~6 people in the squad chat then leave immediately.

    2. This might be a coincidence but i think all of the sortie rewards are shared across the squad. Since the glast gambit i've been getting 2000/4000 endo every day and saw at least 2 others saying the same reward. I've come to this conclusion by a few days ago i decided to solo the final sortie where i finally got something else than endo.

    3. Sometimes there is a slight lag/freeze between the period of the mission summary and after the loading screen of finishing the mission..

    4. Ivara's arrow aiming for her 1st ability sometimes gets inaccurate without using "aim/ironsight" after you go into "operator mode"

  3. Hi, i have a question for the dev team. Can the same specific "prefix" be cycled more than once for that mod? Currently i am under the impression that it can, but because there are so many prefixes that i can't keep track of it seems it doesn't. It would be nice that the more you cycle, the specific prefix cannot be re-cycled again.  Plus can we get more kuva from breaking down the riven mod instead of endo? Adding on that idea, can we get kuva in correlation to the rank of the riven mod (so a Rank 10 riven mod will give more kuva than a rank 0 riven mod).

Im pretty ambivalent towards the riven mod. But i like the good stats, and despise the bad ones.

  4. For the endless fissures, can we have a system where we select a number of relics then have the mission pick a reward from the selection? Just like how the old void system worked where theres an AABC rotation, but instead A rotations will select the most common from the list, B will be the uncommons from the list, and C will be the rarest of the selection.

Having to pause and choose a new relic breaks the flow of the game.

Square Enix manages it just fine.

As I said, Final Fantasy 14 is cross play, both PC and PS4 users playing together. So is Rocket League.

It's not Sony holding things back, it's the developers.

Im not familiar with any of those games. But does FF14 or Rocket league have different version builds for console and PC? Like how consoles is still at TSG and PC is at TVW? Its like how theres no PC and Console crossplay in Overwatch because the PC and console version builds are different because (for them) the balance is different for each build (PC balance vs console balance).

  6. My most used frame is vauban (13%), the skill i use the least is his minelayer ability. My problem with it is that its not as spamable as his other skills since you have to hold the ability key to use, if i were to change it i would swap the prompts around where tapping the ability will activate, and holding the ability will rotate the skills. I dont mind removing some of the minelayer abilities like tripwire because i feel bounce and tripwire do the same thing except bounce throws the enemy in the air, while tripwire makes them fall to the ground.

Tesla could use a change too. I would love to replace it with a turret like xiphos' skill since tesla is basically a duration based turret. Or combine minelayer's tripwire into tesla, into a tesla-link tripwire combo. That way tesla has some utility use that mitigates its weak damage output, working in the augment in, while reducing the clutter that minelayer has.

People keep saying Sony won't work with PC....

Final Fantasy 14 says they lie.

It's more than possible, it just takes money, money DE won't spend. Sony have shown they will work with PC, even so far as to doing cross play, as long as the money is right.

No, it's not Sony stopping it as such, it's the silly amount of money they want for things like that.

i doubt cross play can happen since the console version's build is different than the PC's build. Unless sony or microsoft allows developers to freely upload patches/builds without certification, cross play for warframe is unlikely.

  8. My biggest problem with Ash's bladestorm is that the activation is basically a cutscene (a very slow one despite having maxed fury/speed mods). I would like it if the animation can be cut down in time, or doing something  else while in the bladestorm animation. If i can throw a suggestion, maybe put a QTE mechanics in the Bladestorm animation that either boosts its damage, or reduce its animation time/makes bladestorm happen faster, OR increase its duration per successful buttom prompts (the longer, the more successive prompts commands appear, i.e 3 button prompts instead of 1 button prompt). The reason why i dont like the cutscene is that it breaks the pace of the flow of battle, and it also causes invincibility for the enemies targeted by ash's bladestorm, plus its boring to look at once you've seen it happen the nth time.

Im fine with kavats and kubrows. But i'd wish i can give commands to them to come back if they're too aggressive (since they tend to go down in the thick of battle). But the one thing i do want for kavats and kubrows is the ability to add weapons or actual armor mechanics to them like in Zoids (e.x: Twin barrel cannons on the back, swords on the sides, heat claws/ heat jaws, shield generators, etc)

  9. TWW is going to be in November-ish (maybe?). If you are impatient theres still time for you to jump to the PC version and sit with us while we also are waiting for the War Within.
The benefits of the console versions is that you don't have to (generally speaking) go through all the bugs and glitches we PC users experience, due to the nature of how Sony and Microsoft's certificate system, DE has to polish everything up so they can submit a build to them for updates. Complain to Sony and Microsoft instead.

You console players have the ability to reduce your wait times for new content by switching to PC. We do not have that luxury of reducing wait times because we are already at the front line waiting. Sure its may not make sense to you because you might not have a decent PC to play it on, even though Digital Extremes does a great job making their engine work on weaker systems, or because you dont have the time to switch to PC. But theres about 3 weeks till november where TWW "might" be released, so you have time until then...

  10. Id rather have the whole studio go into crunch time, drop all working in progress projects and rush out TWW... Or is the script scrapped and revised again which is probably why we are getting other updates like this vacuum change, the new trial and other hotfixes? And other previewed projects like better grass and lighting amongst other things?

TWW needs to be finished sooner because i fear that this update is the the gate thats holding back all the other important content milestone like that infested door.

Really? So what exactly is keeping the War Within delayed huh? Show me evidence rathe than going "coding this, coding that".

My guess is the script. August 3rd there was a tweet from Developer Steve showing the script is in version 5.0. And if tweets are not a good indication of proof. Devstream 80 (youtube september 16) at 10:00 timestamp. Developer Geoff mentions that they just did a table read of the script last week. Which is reasonable (at least to me) to think that a key indicator of delays was the script being revised to version 5.0+. And since TWW is a cinematic quest, changes in script can mean alot of things in the development schedule such as new voice lines to be recorded, maybe new scenes need to be animated, or maybe new missions need to be added to fit the dialogue in, etc..

  12. Its hard to polish something when its probably not even finished. That would be called working in progress.

Still can't (or can?) wait for it though.

As long that DE still puts out new content (thats not TWW) to keep it from being stale i am good with the current state of things.

DE can't win no matter what they do. if it's out too soon, like SoTR was, people say "ermahgerhd it's rushed, we can't play this, you should have spent longer on it!", and if it keeps getting delayed it's "Ermahgerhd, is it EVER gonna arrive? I'm bored!". I also find it adorable that PC players say they have to wait a long time; how long do you think consoles will have to wait? we'll be lucky if we get it before Christmas. we'll have to wait much longer than you will. hyping, panicking and begging isn't going to make it come any faster, so just wait it out and play other games until then.

Except its revisions of the script thats probably the main thing thats stalling the update. This is important because TWW is mostly a cinematic quest update, if there are revisions to the script (which is now at least version 5.0 according to Developer Steve's twitter, or more) that means voice lines need to be recorded, and if its a serious change or even additions that means scenes have to be altered or even made anew. Even if its just cinematics, theres some coding involved and we know how DE's track record of bugs are. And based on Devstream 80 (youtube september 16) at 10:00-ish time mark, Developer Geoff mentioned that they did a table read with the actors "last week". That is a good estimate of which stage that they are in,  because the scenario of "releasing early" and "rushing release" on August or September was unlikely to happen in the first place, the story was probably still in its draft form with limited voice work. They were probably not in their preliminary bug testing phase to begin with as I and some others thought they would be in.

The delays to TWW are not simply "oh we are almost finished with the update, but we want to reaaaalllly take our time fixing bugs and tweaking things". But rather, "the scripts not good enough, so revisions have been made and so the development schedule has been pushed back".

We are probably going to get the same amount of bugs regardless. Now whether it is second dream's amount, or SOTR's level is the question. I still hope for a flawless release though.

Also on another note: The option to join and play on PC is still yours to make. Sure it may not be the best depending on your time and money but the option is still there. Its probably the best solution of not having to wait on console. I know its fun to poke fun at PC players but still the issue lies with the delays, if we can't get the update so can't you. BUT you can shave that   1~2  months of extra delay time by jumping to PC,  and thats one thing you can do as console players that we PC users can't.
