  1. I think it was a few devstreams ago but pretty sure the delay period Aug~September was the script being revised to version N. Probably meaning that the voice work was delayed, and a revised script probably mean new scenes (cinematically, in-mission dialogue or even new missions). if there are new cinematics or even new missions would probably mean more coding/animating/scripting and preliminary bug testing (haha...), 

    At hearing that information bit i gave up waiting. Initially i thought TWW was near finished and the delays were actually bug fixing and tweaking. But i did not expect the delays were also including script changes, which is likely a delay at the near top of the development chain considering this is a cinematic quest where dialogue and script is a high priority...

    You have all this content that can span from MONTHS or YEARS worth of time and you want something like "endgame".  isn't it enough?

    You can spend hours in the current void or the simulacrum.

    We need to stop focusing on the players who want to be rewarded for being hardcore and start dealing with priorities like making the game fun and less buggy.

    Seriously though while its true you only get 1 weapon syndicate proc and a melee passive.  Wouldn't it be nice if a player can be rewarded if they collected all the syndicate equipment and wears them? Especially in a system that promotes "loyalty" to a faction?

    Although you'd probably say no because its useless.Good to know what pushes your buttons though.

    The set passive doesn't have to boost damage, it can be something else. While i understand it can be powercreep (depending if DE does add this, and adds damage increase buffs), wouldn't you consider being only allowed to use a certain set of equipment to be a disadvantage too? Its not like primes where for prime equipment you have around 50 primed equipment (47 if you remove founders equipment) to choose and only 1 syndicate variant of one weapon category.

     

  3. With the addition of syndicate weapons that completes the weapons (and syandana) of a syndicate. I would like to suggest giving a gear bonus/passive  when equipping all three weapons (primary/secondary/melee) of a syndicate that fits the syndicate's theme.

    For example, equipping all the vaykor weapons and syandana can give a protection passive (armor increase? hp increase? status resistance?) since their theme is the protection of the weak. Or giving an affinity boost to the Suda weapon set since Suda has a thirst for knowledge or a shield increase since Suda abhors destruction.

    edit: it can be a visual bonus/passive. For those who don't like stat related buffs

    edit2: Perhaps equipping a set allows you to have the syndicate operative allies to spawn in a mission with you?

    The new relic system has its flaws but its overall a significant upgrade.

    Its difficult  to compare the current relic system with the void endless because there are no relic endless missions. 
    I do agree however its alot easier to get rare prime parts in the relic system as compared to void exterminate/mobile defence/capture missions. Old void sabotage is better than the relic sabotage system when it comes to ducat farming however.

    The thing i miss about the old void is that we can no longer do Void Defence/Survival/Interception missions that drop prime parts. Sure, doing 20 minutes/waves is tedious, but im sure most of us has had that one great game where everyone was chill, everyone was talking about something and it didnt matter what dropped in the rotations.

    DE can still make the endless missions work for the ducat system, its just how that can be implemented. Which in my opinion: I think we should make our own custom relic endless game by using 2~4 of the same era relics to tailor what rewards we want in an endless mission. 

     

  6. Im not sure how DE does things when it comes to updates, but time and time again every update is in a varying degrees of buggy-ness. But i really hope someone in management or development is  figuring out why it keeps happening, Does DigitalExtremes have a test server thats exactly the same as the release client to test things at least and do they have enough bug testers? 

     

    I say let DigitalExtremes experiment with longer wait times for TWW. IF the they fail by having the update just as buggy as SOTR (or better/worse), then i dear hope DE should really seriously figure out whats wrong and either improve on it, or just throw out the idea of having longer development times and stick to whatever they were doing before. But if they succeed in having a bug-free update, then we get a pleasant experience.

If they fail by having the update being as buggy as SOTR: then either they go back to their normal release schedule, or DE has to seriously figure out why their updates are so buggy. If its a success then we get a better experience.

     

    Also: stop with the ETAs when it comes to large updates. The hype does not benefit the player base when the mark misses *TWW*.

  8. Almost all spy vaults have an alternative path however some of them require a good understanding of parkour. However if you successfully grab the intel it doesnt matter in the end.

     

    But if you insist on changing frames. Any invisible frame (Loki and Ivara) will do since the main point is not to be seen by camera/patrols. Loki can use his invisibility ability and decoy+switch to bypass laser fields. Ivara with infiltrate augment can walk through lasers, and her arrows are handy. Limbo can go through lasers too with the rift, but you are unable to use the console in it, but its an alternative too.

  9. DE bring back the old void, while combining the new relic system. For example: Tower 4 Survival Type C or Tower 3 Exterminate Type B. My idea is basically the new relic system but basically in the old void where each new key contains parts of the new primes, but you have the benefit of grabbing more than 1 prime item in endless missions, which the relic system lacks.


    Considering that Nekros prime came out, DE is probably going to add new relics for each new prime access, i dont see why DE couldn't have done this before with the old void.

  10. Can we keep the old void system in void survival, void defence and void interception? I love the relic system for the other game modes, but i miss playing the old void defence and survival.

     

    addition 1: Can we have more minigun/gatling type weapons? Also I love the abilities that the amesha archwing has, can we see a warframe version of it? Are there plans for a weapons rack/weapons closet/warframe closet to display our weapons in the orbiter as decoration?

  11. i dont see the problem. You cant enforce people to sell at prices they want it to be whether  its higher or lower. Also Mag prime set for 20p? On PC server i used to sell mag prime for around that before the vault, so thats nothing new to me, although i dont know about the PS4 side of things.

     

    As players its much better than the opposite trend, where real money goods keep going up and the only way to get that much ingame currency is to spend roughly 6 hours a day for 10 days to get the latest cash item (*cough* atlantica online *cough*) or just buy the item from the cash shop. (and maybe pray to RNG).

  12. As the title says, the duration of molecular prime for nova prime is the same as the normal nova's. Unless thats a change that i missed.

    edit: never mind. Seems i misread prime duration, as the prime frame's duration. Still however, i dont recall my current build to have such a low spread duration.

  13. id prefer not to have an auction or a listing of prices. Since its susceptible to very wealthy players buying up the cheap stuff, and raising it to higher prices thus setting up a new standard price. Sure it can drive prices down cheaper too, but often its for stuff nobody wants. 
    As a player from atlantica online who played from day 1 and casually dips in once a month, i've seen the massive price inflation and deflation influential players (note: players who sink at least $50~100 a month in cash shop), and high level guilds have brought. 

     

    True for now a new prime frame set usually wont go any higher than 800 plat (around 45~50 dollars), but who knows if adding an in-game price listings or market wont drive that price higher? 

     

    I prefer the current way things are. As a player who sunk 1900 hours, i think i've made about 6,000 ~ 8,000 plat total in the market (thats around/more than $206 Canadian dollars!).

  14. So with some players discussing about how expensive it is to craft vauban prime, most notably the nitain and oxium. An idea popped in my head for vauban prime and maybe future primes: Why not use normal frame parts (or an already built normal frame) to substitute or reduce the resource cost of crafting primes? (and vauban prime)

    The reasoning is that when vauban prime was announced, i humored myself with the idea that vauban prime would require normal vauban parts as a crafting requirement. Since vauban is a frame who's parts could only be obtained through alerts and is pretty rare, a prime version of vauban requiring normal vauban parts would suit its rarity theme and because i myself have 2 sets of vauban parts laying around, but was surprised (or to anyone else: not surprised) that it required resources to build.

  15. I dont see a problem with cryotic. After all it forces players to do excavations which in turn helps the player out and others since there are more void keys to use, decreasing people doing keyshares and "looking for" in chat.

     

    And i was really surprised that vauban prime didnt require vauban parts to build. Especially after there was a few vauban part alerts after the prime access announcement. Now i have two sets of normal vauban parts in inventory...

Personally, i do have some faith in them, and for the most part the stuff they released in terms of weapons, frames, abilities,etc are pretty ok in balancing, and even then this game is mainly PVE. However though, i do not trust the community in the forums (or elsewhere) to come up with ideas to balance/nerf things, because its a will be a vocal minority to make a fuss out of something. A great example would be the fuss surrounding greedy pull, mesa, saryn, synoid gammacor. If there was a way to track the people who wanted changes to the ones i mentioned before, and ask their opinion on it whether they used that frame/weapon/ability more or less because of it... id love to see it.    

  18. Since alot of people are discussing about the tonkor, i want to give my opinion on what can be done with the tonkor.

    My suggestion would be:

    1. -Same damage as usual
    2. -Reduce the ammo to 1, Increase reload speed to 2.5 (this way, while it can still do massive damage, increases the time to deal damage aka slows the dps)
    3. - Remove the aiming assist (increases the learning curve of the weapon, adds punishment to poor accuracy) [just like killing floor's M79]
    4. - Add a fuse delay, the time it takes to detonate to impact should be around 2 seconds and not more than 3 seconds. If it hits an enemy before the delay, itll bounce off. 
    5. - Alt fire is a selection to decide with the fuse delay of 0 seconds [effect=very small blast radius, high self damage, reduced status chance to 10%] 2 seconds [effect= medium blast radius, medium self damage, status chance is reduced to half], and finally 4 ( or insert # more than 2 )seconds [effect=high blast radius, low self damage, status chance is the same as the modded weapon stat] - The stradavar weapon got me thinking of this. 

    Just an idea.
