    This is the reason I havent logged into Warframe over 3 months and tbh I lost all interest in Warframe and Ash period.     So let's start

    1.Slash Dash

    Slash dash is a pretty good skill. It's current issues is that despite taking melee mods into consideration, it can't crit which is alright as a first skill. However if Excalibur is wielding EB, SD should be able to crit as he is slashing them with a weapon capable of critting. Would also be appreciated if there;s visual feedback on what he's going to home into, such as holding 1 would show excalibur's current targets,

    2. Exalted Blade

    Before we start, i'm going to separate EB into 2 parts, Exalted Blade Longsword and Exalted Blade Waves

    The longsword should always be stronger than the energy waves, excalibur is a swordsman, his blade should be more lethal than it's energy waves, encouraging him to close the distance and go into melee.

    General Changes

    • Damage reduction for frontal attacks Increased from 60% to 75%
    • Slash Dash, Radial Javelin and Radial Blind are reduce by 25% while in exalted blade
    • Slide attack cost reduced from 25 energy to 20 energy
    • Slide attack base range increased from 5M to 10M
    • Exalted Blade stances should be given a charge attack

    Exalted Blade Long Sword

    • Now affected by conditional mods like Bloodrush and Body count.
    • Still unaffected by weapon specific mods. such as Augments

     

    EB is a really good skill however it is surpassed by many melee weapons because mods the acolyte mods do not affect it, however other conditional mods like Conditional Overload do. This should really be taken a look at, Exalted Blade should be the best melee in the game but at the very least should be able to be consistent with other melee weapons interms of modding. It's slide attack frankly shouldn't have an energy cost as sliding is an ingrained part of melee fighting, but a slight reduction in cost should be ok.

     

    3.Radial Javelin

    • Damage scales with Combo multiplier also affected by stealth multipliers  removed this part. Radial Javelin also ends the combo multiplier (credit: SortaRandom )
    • Enemies impaled will deal decreased ranged damage for a duration.

    This skill has a weird spot in his kit. It's CC is outdone by Radial Blind and it's damage is outdone by Exalted Blade. I propose it be turned into a debuff for enemies, decreasing their range damage dealt which helps Excalibur survival higher level before he is able to close the distance.

     

    Any feedback is welcome and feel free to give your own ideas.

  3. Here is one of My favorite builds I dont mind sharing with You guys. Its all about keeping all the stats at 100% or above, his health is low his duration is high his damage is above average his range as well and efficiency almost maxed.

    The best part I love about this build is I think I maybe the 1st to play a 2 augment build especially with Ash.

    I hope You enjoy this build but note 1 important think. I use 2 Maxed Rank Arcane Trickery so i get the most out of this build. If You dont own Arcane Trickery I suggest You dont try this build unless You look forward to grinding or buying it. Its worth it trust Me!

    Hilariously, since I speak in a "neutral" manner so I can be understood by anybody from Spain to Mexico to Colombia etc. most people I met can't quite tell where I'm from, even though I've lived in the same city all my life. Some people have asked me if I'm cuban, to which I'm fond of jokingly replying in a cuban accent "Tan cubano como el Che Guevara" (having been picked up acting on my highschool days helps a lot)

    Something similar happens when I speak english, some people believe I'm from Los Angeles, other think I'm from Miami, other think I'm from NY and I've even been asked if I'm british.

Essentially, those who didn't abuse Bladespam got scr*wed out of our ultimate while bladespammers remained largely untouched, which is the opposite of what should have happened.

    Ive used that as well, I mostly used Ash for Defence sorties where You have to protect an operative, I dont need a Vauban or Slow Nova or Nyx or any sort of Crowd Control or any support I can solo these mission types with Ash alone and I keep My NPCs cloaked with Smoke Shadow.

    One thing I noticed DE did or someone must have cried as usual and they nerfed was Smoke Shadows immunity to Nullifier shields. I use to be able to cloak allies and they wouldnt be interrupted by Nullies now there cloak is canceled and I honestly think thats stupid! This is what made Smoke Shadow soo viable and My favorite augment in game cuz of the Arcane Trickery properties it offered allies. This is super important to me when Im in a High level corpus or void.

    Now Smoke Shadow aint sh1t just like Ash.

    Im not just crying to fix Ash cuz I cant play him, in fact I can make great use of what he is now I just dont like it. I think he can be better and needs to be better. Lets reduce Loki's Radial disarm and force players to wave there mouse around. See how they start to cry all over forums.

He should have a higher energy pool and be squishy but a Glass Connon that deals High damage and is very elusive. The Lifesteal is perfect this is a good way for him to regen health, maybe when doing Finisher Kills he can either get an armor/shield increase for short duration or regen a small % of health back to compensate for the low health

    For Christ sakes he is a Ninja, align his stats to fit the description

    Dunno about you, but I was rockin SMOKE SHADOW and regular Efficiency back in the old days of Blade Spam, and I hated Blade Spam, but recognized the problem wasn't the ability itself but people who abused the broken Efficiency stat. Do you know any of those who rely entirely on Max Efficiency? Those are the ones to blame for the nerfvisit.

    This is why You and I see eye to eye! I main Smoke Shadow, never hated Blade Storm but never was a spammer. Im a moderate Blade Storm user only to proc arcane trickery and then refresh my stealth with smoke screen, i usually can go invis over 1 minute making Loki look like a SCRUB!

    P.s. Look at my smoke screen duration, does it really need an increase in duration? 20 second arcane trickery+17 second smoke screen+10 second shadow step. What more do You want?

    How about you give him some extra utility by giving this ability a hold function, too.

    In essence:

    Smoke Screen -
    Tap:Creates a thick cloud of smoke centered on Ash's current position that stuns enemies in range for several seconds and blocks all enemies line of sight while Ash becomes invisible.
    Hold: Allows Ash to throw the Smoke bomb somewhere else, (either cloaking the nearest Tenno in his stead, or teleporting himself to said location?, or cloaking regardless of being inside the cloud?)

    I thought there were only few like minded/open minded folks here as Myself and @Nazrethim

    I miss alot of concepts cuz its too much to write. But that Idea has been thrown in there and is a great concept im glad You mentioned. I also had 2 other ideas, one would be to implement those current marks we have now with Shuriken leaving its bleed/slash procs. So when You tag enemies with shuriken (Blade Storm mode only) the enemy gets a mark above his head indicating a bleed proc, this proc acts the same7 ticks per 6 seconds (I hope thats right) each proc will summon a shadow clone of Ash that will act as the bleed proc. Each Tick Ashs clone will appear and strike indicating this enemy is marked. maybe we can instateleport to this enemy as long as there is a bleed mark up?

    Id say only 3 clones marks may be active all together, each new enemy mark will cancel the last. Just an idea of mines

    I actually like both a) and b)

    Its like both the ideas mixed together, You cast 4 and Ash uses his wrist blades, and to do ranged attacks you use shuriken, maybe short ranged dash teleprots can be implemented, sorta like Shinobi form PS2. Smoke Screen can provide CC and maybe you can cast 3 smoke screens in BS but duration doesnt refresh. Just more of a CC tool for quick Finisher kills. 

    One Idea I really like i the Finisher/Stealth kills in Blade Storm summon 2 clones to kill 2 enemies within a short range near the target. This would basically reward players for Stealth gameplay which is what Ash is a Stealth Warframe, why not offer 2 alternatives to Ash?

    *Open Mass Murder Combat

    *Stealth Recon and Infiltration

    Stealth/Finisher kills should deal massive lethal damage while slash procs deal solid effective bleeds

    This concept grants players choice of how to elimiinate enemies, and promotes using all Your abilities instead of press 4 and let the Ninja Slide Show do the work.

    Isnt that what we all want Player interaction? There You go, engaging interactive, practical, keeps his identity and fixes all old BS issues

    c) Make it a toggle similar to Ember's World on Fire, except that Ash instead summons constant shadow clones of himself that assault and distract enemies without him being forced into cinematic mode.

    d) Make it a toggled power in which Ash will automatically retaliate to enemies' actions.

    • All enemies in Short/Melee range suffer from Ash striking at them extremely fast (very brief shadow version of Ash striking from his position - lightning reflexes, or w/e you want to call it)
    • Ranged attacks get countered by Ash either reflecting their shots back, or throwing shurikens in retaliation.

    Or anything else you think may be more fitting?

    His Ultimate is the major issue but there are others as well that may use some touch ups.

    My most used abilty and Id say second on My list of reworks for Ash would have to be Smoke Screen!

    The idea I have which a few have as well is implementing the Cloud AoE concept. This is a logical tweak to something that should have existed since he was released. Smoke Screen is the one ability that Ash possesses that offers Team Utility and Crowd Control but DE for some strange reason didnt design it that way.

    A 1 second stagger is not Crowd Control what so ever, and if it is considered crowd control it is the most trash of CC i ever seen. Implementing this concept will not only offer Ash Crowd Control in the sense of strunning enemies and opening Finisher kills but this offers synergy with his Smoke Shadow augment allowing allies to enter and recieve buff whenevr instead of hugging Ash vice versa. This also provides a unique way to get around if we allow Teleports to target smoke screen clouds. 

    So You see, not only Blade Storm needs a fix, his teleport can use small changes to fix minor issues like not stunning enemies You teleport to. The main issues tho are BS and SS, and im not refering to Duration. Im content with My duration people are just greedy and dont know how to Build him, they prefer max Power Strength and negate all duration. I keep everything at 100% and above, I dont build Ash tanky, he isnt a Tank He is an Assassin, I like Glass Cannon Assassins that are squishy but can deal huge damage and are evasive and elusive. 

    Ash is a Ninja not a Tank, his stats are all wrong if people want to complain about another Stance Ulti lets argue about Ashs stats being $&*&*#(%&. Never in My gaming life have I seen a Tanky Assassin/Ninja, some may have life steal etc but not a High health pool like Ashs. That needs to be changed, grant him more larger energy pool and maybe an innate lifesteal to blade Storm when dealing slash damage and invulnerability when dealing finisher kills obviously. But all attacks in Blade Storm shouldnt deal Finisher damage only Finisher Kills and Stealth Kills should just for balance purposes

    Teleport has a problem in that A) Augment is near mandatory for Infested and Corrupted and whenever you want to teleport-kill a Heavy Grineer unit (as they will start a groundpunch and ignore the stagger) and B) It's really sh*tty mobility tool as it requires either entities or objects. This is not much of an issue in PvE (sans RNG not giving you anything to teleport to) but in PvP it makes Teleport useless because you can only teleport to someone who is going to jump away from you anyway or telebug inside a grate in two maps and get stuck/killed.

    Seems legit. Not the best I've seen, but certainly a step up from current failstorm. I assume it uses 100 energy like every other ultimate and not 700 (or more) like current failstorm.

    +1 for trying to improve the frame. Not bad, but can be better :D

    I was gonna say the same sh1t Smoke Screen makes NO SENSE WHAT SO EVER let's be honest!? You want a good idea for Smoke Screen? Easy! 

    Make it an actual Smoke Screen when casted leaves an AoE smoke cloud that stays up for the casted duration. The duration of smoke screen imo shouldn't be buffed or nerfed just implement AoE cloud and enemies who enter are choked/stunned and open to Finisher kills. This AoE should have a nice range and increase with range mods maybe. The invisibility in smoke screen should work the same, leaving the cloud shouldn't remove the invisibility. Ash doesn't need to camp inside a cloud his SS only needed an actual Crowd Control mechanic to make it team viable and this concept Synergizes PERFECTLY with his Team Augment Smoke Shadow. Instead of using it to just revive team mates or cloak an ally right near you, now you can cast it and allies can enter and receive the buff whenever. The mini map should indicate a cloud Icon so you know it's active and where, this is game changing and vital for Ash in game period. Not a mindless puncture proc, what's his smoke screen shooting out caltrops?

  15. No type of imagination or creativity. If you imagine VS with the same exact function just a camera birds eye view it still wouldn't work in the tight rooms and tilesets Warframe offers.  A Stance BS not only offers control of the action and who and what and how you kill it, but all his abilities would be used more and funner to use while in BS.  If you can't imagine that you truly have no business offering concepts in forums. As @Nazrethim mentioned and I do all the time, Ash was the 1st Warframe with innate physical melee weapons so a Stance for Blade Storm is not only viable and the best solution but he should have been the 1st Stance Ultimate frame to begin with. You rather watch Ash do the Blade Storm or do it Yourself manually? I prefer to do it myself idk bout you

Only one huge change Ash needs aswell that we dont talk about is his stats, Ash shouldn't be a Tank that's Rhinos job, Ash should be somewhat squishy, not like Loki squishy but squishy, and his energy should be higher for casting purposes.  How does a ninja utilize his tools when his energy is so low he can barely cast enough cuz he's out of energy.  He needs more energy and lower health. I cant stand the fact he is Tanky that makes no sense. I'm sure plenty players in Mobas will complain about a Tanky assassin. You nuke and take high amounts of damage? Thats not a balance that's another slapin the face saying here take that don't bother me I'm too busy! If you gonna do something so it right not half assed, Ash was done half assed by DE and I'm sure they can do alot better. Just saying they should read this and feel offended in a way that they remake him to be great. Not read this get offended and block or ban players. 

  17. There is so much I missed out trust me, I occasionally get on forums to see what's going on and what's been done. Let me be completely honest with you all. I only play Warframe for ASH idc about any other Warframe but ASH he is my life, he is my most used Warframe and I have spent not only hard long hours and years playing him, I've spent hard earned cash on him and don't mind continuing to do so but I am deceived and disappointed. I fell in love with this game as a whole once I indulged myself in maxing out each and every frame but I can't continue to pretend to love this game when you ruined what I once loved. Not like Blade Storm was better before I always hated how it functions I just love Blade Storm aesthetically. It has an appeal to me that existed in the first trailer I saw, then once I played him in game I felt like I noticed somethings DE either left out, or just didn't care and were too lazy to add. Take a good look at the trailer blade storm and the actual in game animations. They aren't exactly the same at all. The in game animations are cheap and have no visual appeal. Especially the pop up combo, in the trailer it looks more cleaner and detailed, in game ash just knocks the enemy uo, teleport and slaps him to the ground. There are a few other animations in blade storm that you have to agree with me are HORRIBLE and make me question DE how do you design such beautiful graphics and abilities like EB etc but Your only actual Ninja in games ultimate SUCKS! That says alot about your Ninjas play Free. I'm not here to sugar coat sh1t I just keep it real and Ash stats are all messed up and he sucks even tho I never wanted to admit it in front of Loki fans cuz this game is a War against fan boys protecting there fav frames but ASH brings nothing to the table. The only team ability he has is in the form of an augment no-one but me and an ancient civilization of rare Ash players who duration+smoke shadow. I don't watch Mogamu or AGGP or the rest of those boring streamers to learn how to build Ash. All those high strength builds are played out and boring.  Anyone can make a build video and I'm sure alot of you here can build better then Mogamu or the rest of those dorks. Anyone who builds Ash power strength is a4 spammer. I utilize every ability and mainly smoke screen to stack and refresh my arcane trickery which is an important part of my play style with Ash. I can remain invis longer then Loki duration with my SS duration plus Trickery. The point is I along with others as well as yourself have offered ideas on Ash fixes and they completely disregard it which to me feels like a slap in the face and fuk how I feel we will just keep sucking money out of you. That's how i feel DE feel about us and our ideas sometimes. Let's turn BS to a Clone summon, or let's just change his 4th completely to a new ability? HEEELL FUXK NO! The day that happens is the day DE better perma ban me cuz I will start a riot, I'll appear at tennocons and pax East to make people's lives miserable for ruining my once passion in this game.

    Ever heard the term?

    Well its practically true. Sure Ash deals good damage, he has high survivability with a high health pool which in reality makes no sense in My history of playing Assassins in any online games (Mobas Mainly) 

    Ashs kit is off, I will explain each ability in detail.

    Shuriken, deals low damage in end game and only strips armor, and casts only 3 shurikens that fly off sometimes.

    Why not add a barrage of small shurikens that stun enemies,  and a charged shuriken that deals more damage.

    Smoke Screen, cloaks you for a short period of time and staggers enemies for 1 second.

    why not cast an AoE in the are that stuns enemies in side opening them to finisher kills, keep same duration mechanics in and out of smoke screen

    Teleport instantly moves you in front of enemies stunning them for finisher kills

    The animtion is off and the stun sometimes doesnt function, add a small smoke cloud wherever he lands that stuns enemies

    Blade Storm, ash goes on a rampage killing enemies with clones dealing slash/finisher damage

    Why not rework into a Stance, this provides interactivity, synergy between abilities and fixes the camera and lots of other bugs BS has had for Years.

    You say it shouldnt be a Stance? I say it should and have good reason to prove my statement, Ash being a Melee frame, and BS being a Melee ability with innate melee weapons makes this concept viable and makes sense. There is no way a Stance ultimate for Ashs BS a bad idea nor will it make him unengaging and less interactive in fact this is exactly what Ash needed all along

    How does it work? Press 4 and Ash summons clones while unsheathing his Katars, every attack will summon an AoE of shadow Clones dealing Slash bleed procs, any kills in stealth of finisher kills to enemies in teleport or in Smoke Screen will be a Multifinisher kill Ash and his 2 clones will   do the same animation and deal Finisher damage to the enemies within his range. The Multi Finisher kill will only occur if there are 3 enemies within (X) amount of meters

    it sorta like using' Lifestrike' on midway cast, and also prioritize if you just wanna hit harder. It should work whether or not you have melee equipped. That's just for counter.

     

    That is only viable for Melee weapons and since Blade Storm does have a innate melee weapon (Katars/Hidden Blades) this gives more reason for Blade Storm to be reworked as a Stance Ultimate.

    Exalted Blade Storm is the best idea Im sorry, turning Ash to just summoning clones i trash, it be better if You just press 4 to Activate BS mode and when You attack clones appear on different combos and stealth kills or finishers will be Multikills summoning 2 clones to kill 2 enemies withing a short range would be smarter, also making him more interactive and allowing you to utilize all his abilities while in Blade Storm and having a better effect whilst in this mode.

    It makes sense breaks all the bugs and boring sit back and watch slide show when now we can do the assassination rampage ourselves

    It would help if people weren't insistent on completely reworking a frame that WORKS and works well. 

    All of these elaborate rework write ups are basically a waste of time. Asking for tweaks to what we currently have would be far more effective in getting the devs attention- like asking for an increase in animation speed during bladestorm. 

    At some point people need to accept that Ash is what he is, a frame that teleports around killing enemies during his ultimate. Either you like that, or choose a different frame. 

    I see no reason in having Forums then. If they are tell bent on not changing Ash due to the constant persistent cries of "Fix My fab frame" then just shut the forums down. There's no point in asking for pols opinions if the don't care to listen and make the fans happy. I'm a Tattoo artist, I don't unjust tattoo what I want on ppl skin, I try to accommodate the clients needs. This is See creation yes, but for us to enjoy. Why capture our attention and make such a great game to deceive us and let us down with half re-done abilities. Btw not everything Ash related is correct. His description states smoke screen blinds and stubs enemies and all it does is stagger then for a half a second.  You telling me that adding AoE choke cloud to way we already have is bad?! Making Blade Storm a Stance and too huh? It's essentially the same stuff we have now but controlled. Instead of pressing 4 to watch it why not activate and control it? I really don't get the logic some of you have maybe y'all like macrobot abilities and blade storm promotes asking. Just cuz you have to wave your mouse around to mark doesn't mean blade storm is interactive. You still press 4 to watch a slide show.

    And to rebuddle your reply about DE not paying any mind to these ideas Rebecca tagged herself in @Nazrethim Ash thread, I have faith this can and will happen. Embrace good new ideas don't be narrow minded

    You know the only ability that's gotten me tons of kills is Shuriken in Conclave, BS is whack asf smoke screen is trash teleport is a waste but I got a Double kill off one shuriken cast simultaneously. I was soo happy when I got the kill and I realized Shuriken is My favorite in Conclave just because of this.

    Tear Gas is also trash, I invest soo much in Ash and get let down everytime. DE need to put some Respekt on that Ash!
