As a PvP player who keeps getting wrecked by all the vets in Conclave, I must say that Teshin's betrayal in War Within pulled a few heartstrings. Not really because I like him in any way ("Darn it dad, stop judging me! Not my fault I'm going against these 2000+ hours CS:GO players!"), but just because of the familiarity.

However, for people who aren't as dedicated to losing as I am, I'm sure seeing Teshin's betrayal was more "lol whoz tat dude again?".

So, what I suggest to improve on the War Within, is to create more earlier quests or at least, some way, to make him more relevant. For example, maybe an optional quest to learn advanced mechanics like opening up enemies to finishers, stances, weapon damages types, crit, status, etc? Maybe also in the codex, to teach you about weaknesses and mission types?

I think this is a really great idea!  DE knows that this game isn't as new player friendly as it should be (they've mentioned that in recent streams), and this would be a great start to fixing the problem.  And who better to teach this stuff than Teshin?

if OP considers shield health then add Mag’s 3rd power polarize

when magnetic procs happen (or any sudden shield drop) i personally polarize to self heal

zero shield to full shield i think that’s healing

Nah, I'm only talking about hit points here.  It's true that shields count towards your frame's effective health, but that's a rabbit hole I'm not really interested in heading down in this thread.  Thank you for contributing though.

    Missed a few Arcanes:

Arcane Victory: Headshots give chance for health regen.

Exodia Might (Zaw arcane): Finishers have a chance to grant Lifesteal

    http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Exodia_Might

Also, the "Truth" proc from Arbiters of Hexis weapon augments:

    http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Truth

Also, the Haven augment, as far as the Comment section in the Wiki knows, does NOT restore your health, only allies. Not a self-heal.

    http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Haven

    Updated.

And I've confirmed in game that Limbo's Haven is not a self heal, so it's gone from the list.  That's sad... I was actually starting to like that frame.

    Thanks for contributing.

So not having any fish spawn is not broken/working as intended? O..Ok...

No need to be snarky.  I'm only offering my perspective to hopefully help those that are having issues.  In my recent experiences, the fish are spawning just fine.  If they aren't spawning for you, and you've tried the suggestions mentioned so far, then I hope they take the feedback and resolve this issue for you.

how do you guys throw bait in water ripples? they travel too fast man

You don't have to directly hit the ripple with your bait.  You just have to toss in the general area.  The ripple is just showing you that the area is a hot spot.

Back on topic:  I just fished up five Murkray from a single hot spot during a night cycle.  I'm convinced now that the trick is to have your Murkray bait equipped as soon as you equip your spear and toss it in immediately after your spear is out.  I had to get through all of my other bait so that Murkray bait was the first one in the gear wheel.  Also, if you don't get any spawns when you first equip the spear, go ahead and fish what spawns and then wait.  Your bait will last until a new batch of spawns comes, and as long as it's still a hot spot, you should get some good spawns the second time around.  Since they've extended the bait time, we have a better chance at getting the fish we want with a little patience.

I don't think fishing is broken per se... it's just not clear how to get the spawns to happen.  Truly annoying, but doable.

  6. I read a comment on the Wiki page for Murkray a couple of weeks back when I was farming for the items to make the tier 1 amp pieces.  It recommended that when getting set for catching Murkray, the time between equipping your spear and tossing in the bait must be kept at a minimum.  The author never explicitly gave an amount of time, but just said to be VERY quick... as quick as you can.  I used that rule of thumb about a week ago on four or five ocean hot spots, and every hot spot yielded me one murkray at a minimum with one yielding me Murkray for every fish spawn.

I can't say with absolute certainty that this will fix your problem, but I don't think there is anything especially lucky about my account that this was a fluke (ha... pun).  As long as the hot fix didn't break fishing, which many threads are saying that it might have, I'd say try it this way and report back to us if you wouldn't mind.

  7. I respect every opinion on this issue 100%, but to speak of the Tenno as frail and weak is a misconception made only by those that choose not to play them and/or have little experience with what they are now.  A Vazarin disciple has more survivability and utility than most of the warframes in your kit... just saying.

To answer the OP, I like them just fine.

It's not really the frames IMO... It's the players.

If you run into That Guy (or any of their devoted students) the mission is probably gonna suck...

That Guy wants to dictate the pace and direction of the mission.

That Guy wants to own the Mission Summary.

That Guy is convinced that the co-op mission is a competition.

That Guy has trolled missions on most of the frames and weapons in this game if it has/had strong DPS or lockdown mechanics.

I'd rather have a team full of Limbos and Hydroids as opposed to a team with just one of Those Guys in it.

FWIW...That Guy is used in an entirely Equal Opportunity manner and is meant to be gender neutral.

This... all day!  "That guy" plays many frames, so blaming his/her tools is unfair.

Don't know if this counts, but Arcane Pulse might fit the list as well.  When someone picks up a health orb, Arcane Pulse has a chance to send out a healing pulse that heals anyone in range (works like Arcane Energize, but with health orbs).  It's very effective on Nekros.

This is exactly the type of knowledge I was after.  I had zero idea that this was a thing, but it's a total game changer if you play frames like Nekros or Hydroid.  Thank you for contributing!

    1. Get it out
    2. Walk up to a corpse
    3.  Interact with said corpse
    4. Pickup your health orb.

Still too obscure.  "Interact with said corpse"... I can shape that many ways.  Walk over it?  Ground slam it?  Hit the X (default interact) button?  Swat the scepter at it?  Try to shake its hand?  Put coins over its eyes?  A tad bit more clarity if you wouldn't mind please.

Just fyi, to help complete your list, you are still missing this one:

And I don't mean the Syndicate proc (although that one also heals), but the augment itself:
    http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Winds_of_Purity

Also, @Prinny13's addition, the Mantis Orbiter's medtower air support is not added yet.

Same with @Antaeon's addition, the Sancti Magistar's chargeattack (which is not the same as a Syndicate proc), it's not added yet either.

    Fixed.

No, it's not.  This is a different item than the squad health restore.  This is a health restore just for the player that uses it.

I thought they were the same too.  Okay, I edited the first entry to include your suggestion.  Thank you for contributing!

Vazarin absolutely does work on your own frame, I've used it on my own quite a bit.  Each dash heals only a certain fraction to total health though, so you may have to do multiple dashes to get back to full.  Also the regen time is fairly short, it could be done by the time you get back in your frame.

I certainly hope so.  I tried this multiple times with Rhino while stabbing at an Eidolon.  I was swapping pretty quickly, but when going back into him, my health was not budging.  Maybe the problem was I wasn't dashing through him...

You are only counting healing towards Warframe health, yes?

    Then, contributing with some more:

    • Any melee weapon with Healing Return (added)
    • Nezha's Blazing Chakram (added)
    • Vazarin's Focus, Protective Dash (although, I dunno if this can heal your own Warframe),
    • Rejuvenation aura (added)
    • Sentinel's Medi-Ray (added)
    • Sahasa Kubrow's Dig can dig up health orbs (added)
    • Furis' augment mod, Winds of Purity (added)

Yes, I'm thinking healing Warframe health.

I was wondering about the Protective Dash in the Vazarin tree too.  I tested it out, and if I used it correctly, it does not work for your own frame after you transfer back.  I'm not a fan of that, considering that Zenurik's energy regen is party wide.
