    Not really sure what the issue is, though. Do you just not want to see the front of the character when you're turning the camera? 

    Problem is that using a steam controller is slightly awkward and Id rather have the camera follow behind me at all times and move only when I need it with the trackpad, if that makes any sense.

     

    I think warframe works this way on the consoles, if not what I want is basicly as the camera would work in gears of war games and many others

    Is there any way to change the camera ingame on PC to have the camera follow the Warframe at all time behind.

     

    asking since I have a steam controller and I find it awkward to move the facing all the time with the right touchpad.

    I can't reproduce the problem.

     

    Try to kill all warframe instances you have on (even if it is as hidden background process). You can do this without going to safemode or without booting or without task manager which might not show all stuff (depending is you win acco normal or admin).

     

    To close warframe start the command prompt as administrator:
     
    1) Click Start.
    2) In the Start Search box, type cmd, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.
    3) If the User Account Control (UAC) dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
     
    write to command prompt these lines one by one followed by ENTER.
    taskkill /f /im Launcher.exetaskkill /f /im Warframe.x64.exetaskkill /f /im Warframe.exe

     

    yeah this will happen even though there is no warframe running before this process. What I think is happening is that when warframe launches it will download updates and reboot the launcher and thats the "recent" warframe thats not closing properly when I can press the play button after patching.

    I usualy have that error too, i just close that mesage and the game start proprely :X

     

    I know but its annoying me and should be fixed as its obviously something wrong with Warframe programming :P

     

    Dont tell me that you are using hibernate or quick start. Reboot the computer properly.

    I never use reboot or hibernate, between uses I shut down my baby completely. :P

    When starting Warframe (since yesterday) the launcher is fine but when pressing play it seems that warframe will be launched twice and as such I get a message stating that warframe is already running and warframe starting as well...

    Well, this was their most ambitious update yet, so as the updates get more and more work, they're going to have more and more bugs.

     

    That's why there's a giant freaking bug megathread. DE knows there are bugs, so they get reports from their consumers to solve those problems.

     

    It seems as though you have no real constructive criticism on U14 except "lotsa bugs". There is a place you can go to solve that, and it's definitely not in this thread.

    I can explain it a bit further, but its not just "lotsa bugs"

     

    The menus problem can be broken down to issues with not beeing consistant with what can and cant be done (click inviting as one example) and that now the map system is shiny and good looking but (at least for me) it gives no sort of quick overview as the last one did, and rotating the planets for getting the maps is not making it better. (this is not a bug issue, its feedback on what I percive)

     

    Login issue I cant add mroe information on, but it looked like an issue with the login server, it only happened once but as I said before I was quite annoyed at that point allready.

     

    the crash well here we start threading into something I cant explain in that great detail more then the following from the event log in windwos:

    its the "nvlddmkm" part of the display driver that is causing the issues, the drivers are the latest stable release from NVIDIA, the error is giving me the details:

    0x80000000000000

    Event id is 4101 but Im guessing thats my systems local assignment for the issue. Event recordID is 3705 and its a level 3 issue.

     

    that is to the limit of what I can provide with information. But I can tell you that its happening over and over and as such is easy to reproduce on my system.

    even the most in depth methodical internal testing doesn't even come close to the amount of testing WF gets in its first hour with the sheer number of players beating it down and doing things that the testers didn't during testing, to get even close to the amount of hours we had put in in 24h would be months for a dedicated testing team, you don't seem to realize how testing works with internal against external from what your saying. . 

    I do, however as someone else stated, when you are annoyed as heck with something you are not accessing all of your brain as you are jsut so frustrated... and my crashing might not have been detected in internal testing, the chat one should have been discovered easily as its easy to reproduce the problem.

    Funny part is, I personally have not witnessed any of those bugs. Of course, the entire purpose to the 'Beta Bugs' subforum is to submit such, as well as things that might assist DE in replicating your issue.

     

    Menus are not easy to access? It's all still accessible directly by hitting Esc. Nothing else has really changed about it, other than the format with which we read it.

     

    If you're having an issue where your drivers have an 'error' is to update or reinstall your drivers. New versions come up quite often, and if you're not up to date (or possibly running nvidia beta drivers), you will have problems. Those are driver issues, however. Unless you're computer is brand new and clean, don't expect that everything will work exactly as you think they will, because that's just not how computers work.

    I am quite aware of this, I work with computers most of my work hours.

     

    I should have been more clear with the menus thing though, its not the menus themselfs, its the map/navigation system in particular and the fact that inviting someone does not work from all the places you can find a list of friends or whatever.

     

    and when it comes to the drivers, they are the latest NVIDIA stable drivers...

    The chat problem can be avoided by not inviting people by clicking their name on chat and pressing invite. Type it instead.

    Login problem might be cause you accidentally had caps on or just did many typos.

    Display driver outdated?

     

     

    yes all drivers are up to date....

    and thanks though for telling me whats causing the chat problem.... should be fixed fast then by DE as well then

    I know, but I have played for a LOONG time, more then a year and I have never had THIS many issues with the game.... Just seems to be getting worse and worse as time goes on.

     

    I hope however that DE sees this thread and actually look into these issues and get em sorted ASAP. All I want is a working game but right now im sooo pissed as I have missed loot on so many runs today as the games crashes (whats even more annoying si to have to reboot the system to get to play ANYTHING as NVIDIA display driver will j9ust constantly crash once it has happened once)

    Ok this update should NEVER have left INTERNAL testing!

     

    I give you that its shiny and good looking but the menues are not easy to access.

     

    Then we have the outright bugs I have had today which have made me have to restart the game or my computer 9 times today (not exaggerating) and my specs are way more then what this game should need!

     

    1. I can get stuck in a chat mode when chatting making it so I cant close the chat, whatever I do the chat is there and as such I cant get to a menu, control my character or anything. I have to forcefully close the game to continue.

     

    2. Getting stuck in the login screen for a loooong time and it repeatedly saying check info when the correct info is inputted.

     

    3. game randomly crashing on me as the game causes an error in my display driver (NVIDIA) and when this happens I have to reboot my computer to get ANY game to work after this point, as when starting any game after this will just cause an endless loop of display driver has stopped working.... and btw Warframe is the ONLY game installed on my system that causes this crash.... (one example is that Wildstar almost maxxed out in graphics settings does not crash my system, not does it even slow down below 60fps)

     

     

    GAH Im ranting but im sooo frustrated atm as it seems DEs skills with the code is getting worse for each day that passes, but it might just be that way for me....

     

    also posting here as hoping that some De staff on the forum sees this as the support page takes forever to give any feedback and the replies I have had from there in the past is less intelligent / assumes that I am more of a retard then what my ISP does and they are not exactly good....

     

     

    EDIT: this post is as much as a relif for me to get rid of my frustration as anything else... I need somewhere to vent my frustration after this day......

    to specify more on my login issues atm then....

     

    The login screen looks fine with my frame and all. But logging in is taking ages to just come up with "login failed, check your info" and ofc not letting me in.... I know its the right password

    same, launcher is fine but not when trying to login in the game....

     

    Was fine first but then I had to force close as I got stuyck in "chat mode" and then I cant login no more

    Hey!

    Since I have had some issues with lags when playing multiple persons I think its kinda odd that when in solo if you die in a mission you do not get any experiance, and might I add that missions are way harder when you go alone!
