  1. I just want to point out that any melee weapons with a secondary fire button are completely unavailable with the current Melee Revisit Phase 1. For example Valkyr's Hysterical Assault will not activate as the game prioritizes primary/secondary weapon's secondary fire.

Also now being able to swap between Valkyr's Hysteria and any primary/secondary weapons feels unusual. It's an unintentional glitch that gives her Hysteria a boost in versatility but I think it really screws up with her invincibility being toggled on and off. Even the energy continues to be drained when drawing primary/secondary weapons and Hysteria still activated.

  2. So sometimes when you skip a cutscene of your platform being raised, some players get stuck inside the platform. Most of the time the players either stay on top or they fall through and land at the arena's floor, but I happened to get stuck inside the platform and crouching nor jumping got me out. I decided to type /unstuck in hopes it will reset me back to the arena. Turns out using /unstuck teleports the player back to the arena entrance and there is no way for the player to return back to the arena through normal means.

  3. I decided to try practice a little more for the Mastery Test 17 in the Simaris Cephalon room, and I decided to quit halfway through the practice test since I felt like I was ready to redo the challenge. When I approached the Mastery Test pod in the Simaris room and accepted, I waited... but the test was not activating for fifteen seconds. I thought this might be caused by my recent internet connection issue I'm having so I decided to try and return to my liset to activate the test from there. It now tells me I'm locked out for yet ANOTHER 24 hours.

I am sick of doing Mastery Test 17 for the fourth time. Twice I've failed and twice I've practiced and I'm still stuck in Rank 16.

  4. So about thirty minutes ago, I attempted to do an Arbiter of Hexis Maxim rescue mission on Sparga, Eris. I noticed how the rescue target is not an average Tenno sympathizer but an agent from the syndicate. That's pretty cool... then I failed the mission. I'm not exactly the best when it comes to solo play, but I noticed how just unfair the mission became just by this bug.

Downed rescue targets have no revival mechanic as they die immediately upon being incapacitated.

It's understandable that the syndicate operative now replaces the rescue target which I dig. However due to the new Syndicate follower script, normally upon death they do not scream for help and there is no window of time to resurrect them as there are no revive command and the downed syndicate operative dies immediately. I don't know if this is intentional, but having the rescue operative to use that same AI gives the players nearly no room to revive their hostage as their health bar requires a lot of attention and care.

This can be argued that it brings a challenge, but for players playing solo this becomes a hassle and a time waster.

    Thanks for reading in!

[EDIT] Alright so turns out I was just unaware of my syndicate operative being downed when I was being swarmed by enemies. The problem of the operative having no voice nor any messages indicating to be incapacitated, they can be revived. I'm withdrawing my report.

  5. On the other, tenno, having barely awoken into the system/borderline extinct, and being all about balance and discipline, I'd imagine them being a lot more... frugal.

I certainly can't imagine one sprawled about on a sofa reading Grineer Ladies Monthly or giggling because the first match of the Interplanetary Jat Kittag Tennis League of the year is about to start.

Perhaps my examples were clearly exaggerated, but maybe we could just have simpler furniture such as chairs and tables, potted plants, and fish tank. Just simple things as every player can see each other customizing their utilities and Warframes for the battles ahead. As silly as this idea sounds, does this not sound like a place to put down your nobbles. Besides, we have the Liset Christmas decorations to ruin our frugal atmosphere. I'm sure DE would be down for that should they find a purpose.

In all seriousness, I think this would be a good place to commence trades in private.

  6. This is an added idea to Liset Decoration: Resource Hoard because void technology and having friends feel at home showing off your expensive room when forming a gathering for a mission planning.

The general idea would be to allow players to invite each other to their respective Liset interior. A maximum of four players may be inside a Liset living room as it is intended to be used for party gathering and testing host connections. Despite being on someone else's Liset, there will be a special computer where everyone (specifically the visitors) may attend to their own foundries and mods whereas the changing room(s) will hide and allow the user to change their equipment before returning to the living room to display their updated gear and Warframes. This idea also allow players to point out who the host of the party is and allow trades via trading table. Of course hosting a party via living room would be completely optional as it is only intended to be used with friends and acquaintances rather than random public players.

Aside from allowing players to gather without the use of clans and hubs, the Liset living room concept is purely a cosmetic approach to customizing the host's interior design. With interaction options a Tenno could sit on a sofa/chair, watch television (i.e. random footage of surveillance, news update, or a mock show opening), stare at posters (i.e. clan or syndicate sigils, Grineer or Corpus motivational posters, even a crop of a favorite Warframe), gaze outside towards the nearest planet with your allies, or play a small mini-game of table tennis (with another player).

Want to spruce up your Liset living room? Have a theme you want to show your friends? Tired of the basic couch that's in everyone's living room? By attending several special node missions (or purchase via platinum) a player can obtain furniture, wallpaper, and flooring to express their.

Just imagine the first Tenno sitting on a couch reading magazines, the next player watching an alien fish in a tank, the last visitor watering a foreign potted plant, and the host accessing the navigation galaxy map to select the mission for the group to partake in.

Does this sound a lot more fun compared to sitting at the cockpit of your Liset?

  7. I'll give my two cents on this bug I've found with Hysteria.

I was doing a defense mission on Uranus (I think) and my Valkyr was incapacitated while she was casting Hysteria. After being revived, my weapon was stuck in its swinging glow and my melee attack button was completely bugged, locking me in a repetitive aerial dive attack (even while grounded) until I've activated Hysteria again. However, the bug continued to lock out my melee button and I was unable to use my melee weapon at all. Hysteria mode was the only thing allowing me to attack by melee.

I think the bug is linked to the timing of Hysteria being activated and being cancelled exactly after being incapacitated or returning from fall voiding.

  8. Players will now be disqualified from end-of-mission rewards if they've been dead or AFK for over a minute.  This will not affect players that are waiting at extraction.

Pool 1) Survival, Defense, Interception, etc rewards are revealed during the mission and accumulate without penalty.

Pool 2) Exterminate, Sabotage, Capture, and essentially anything else that isn't endless have end-of-mission reward items (Blueprints from bosses, etc).

Pool 2 items are all that is affected by this change at this time.

    Also 'what qualifies as AFK/Dead'?

This timer only matters relative to when the mission is completed. It isn't a 'catch all' net for 100% of the mission.

...Hmm well that does make it sound better when you clarify like that. I still suggest a vote-kicking system and let the squad decide who should reap the rewards.

Also solo missions in this case should be fixed (unless when a random joins, but that's what the invite system is for).

    • Players will now be disqualified from end-of-mission rewards if they've been dead or AFK for over a minute.  This will not affect players that are waiting at extraction.

You know what would be a better solution? A kick-voting system! What about the people who have to take a phone call or do a short errand for others? This is unfair to those that have such events. I already hate brushing off my family members while I'm playing, but now it's mandatory that I have to move my character constantly while they want to talk to me? Talk about whipping your players by removing their in-game coffee break. Now I'm even afraid to grab snacks during my own solo missions.
