  1. One last note...I actually went back to Orb Vallis to fish for these things one more time to get their relative sizes.  Sizes appear to be the same, regardless of either adornment or point value (which I still have no clue how the game calculates and seems entirely random to me), or how large they appear when they spawn.  And yes, the charamote really is that big. (complete with reference goodboi)

But the Tromyzom?  barely half that.

And yet they're roughly the same size in the tank?  What?

  2. Right, so there's nothing to report for any of my later tests.  Tromyzons still clipped no matter their adornment nor their orientation (though they and the charamotes will clip through the floor if they're too close to it) and there are no (visible, at least) clipping issues in the side tank.  And I'd like to place a little mini-report on the "fish staying in one place problem" here too, as now taking the fish out and back in again isn't working anymore.I'd like this fixed because I want to show off my blingfish without mounting them, thanks.

  3. Right.  SO.  A few updates with accompanying images.  Ran a test of ALL  Orokin fish in the main tank.  And it affects ALL charamotes.  Because they are all the same size.  And I could swear the do NOT look that big when you actually fish them up, tho I could be remembering wrong.  But that doesn't matter.  What matters is the clipping issues.

Here we have the basic charamote clipping all the way through the floor.

Here we have another charamote clipping through the glass.

Here is something I did NOT expect.  Two TROMYZONS clipping through the glass.  I hadn't seen this issue before, so I wonder if it's the fact that I have three different tromyzons in there or I just hadn't seen it before.  They big bois too, but I thought they were a bit more....bendy in their turns...

    F5AE5516FEC270626B08841B086A8C286F5C6CC9

And the third one swimming in the other direction.  Seriously, I haven't seen this happen before so I don't know whether it was the fact that there were more than one of them in there or if it always happens.  So I guess my next tests will be a single tromyzom in the main tank followed by a single charamote.

...  Is it bad that I am more fascinated by this than I am with the (currently wasted potential of the) Granum Void?

QUICK MID-TEST UPDATE:  It seems that so long as the charamote is swimming COUNTERCLOCKWISE (with the part up against the wall being the 12 position) it will not clip through the glass (it'll clip through the coral instead, but that isn't as bad and doesn't happen on every loop).  Since I don't want to screw that up, some pictures may have a charamote and a tromyzom in the same shot.

  4. So I decided that I would add some bling to my aquariums and throw some magnificent orokin fish into them as cleaners so that my fish have nice clean tanks to live in.  Obviously there are some issues with animation when there are large amounts of fish in a single tank where some fish just sit there and don't actually swim around, but this is usually fixable by removing all the fish, re-adding them, then removing and re-adding whatever fish aren't moving around. Bit of an annoyance but a one time thing and no big deal.  So I add the magnificent charamote to the main tank, and go to make sure it's moving.  ONLY IT'S FRIKKIN HUGE.  And it's standing still, but it's frikkin large.  So large that it clips through the floor of the main tank.  So I remove EVERYTHING, and place ONLY the three magnificent orokin fish in the tank. They're all moving around just fine Tromyzon bends around curves no issue, but the big boi charamote?

Yeah, he clips through the tank itself.  This makes me rather sad, actually.  I haven't tested this with the side tank yet, nor have I tested the OTHER versions of the charamote (or the other fish).  YET.  I will edit this topic as I test things.  But please fix this.  I want my cleaning bling to be comfy, too...

Well I duno about you but I use Op mode all the time and also fish like my life depends on it so I am not sure its related. Though i must say I am Madurai focused so maybe its the focus school?

I've yet to play with the other trees since PoE, but I've had the same issue as Exelerus.  I may do some testing later.

  6. As I state in the title, the lights on the back of the Vaykor Syndana lag away from the base while moving.  I tried getting shots from multiple angles, but only one displays this bug well (found here, as inserting screenshots doesn't work in the steam browser for some reason).  I don't know if this has already been reported, as the search function of the forums is ALSO bugged (I'll be submitting THAT bug presently).

I will have to give it a shot but that still does not fix the issue of the slow response time and throw animation, and whats the point of having that awesome astral twilight stance if your not going to use it. this would be great as a close quarters melee weapon with the added utility to CC high priority targets and engage crowds from a distance. im not saying give it glaive prime speed but .900 or so would be very usable.

This MAY just be a mirage on my half, but it looks like whirlwind MAY up the speed JUST EVER SO SLIGHTLY on Astral Twilight's "throw combos" (block and pause combos).  I haven't actually tested this yet tho, and I'm not sure I want to screw it, I'll test this out presently and report (tho I won't be able to do anything but eyeball it, so take my results with a grain of salt) disregard all that.  Whirlwind, if it even does does up the "throw combo" speed (whether by design or by a bug), does so negligibly.  I do like the idea of upping the speed, tho I'd say 0.85 instead of 0.9, given the stat differential.

With current mods and abilities you could take a weapon with .750AS [ Orvius ] and a weapon with 1.17AS [ Glaive Prime ] and glaive will out dps the orvius all day long just because of the attack speed that can be achieved with far less making the better base stats of the orvius much less effective not to mention the far superior reaction time you have with the glaive prime

correct me If I am wrong but at .750AS, that makes Orvius a one handed melee weapon I presume is also light weight the single slowest melee in game even fragor prime is faster at .800AS

I've found that by sticking whirlwind on it I have what amounts to an infinite ammo grenade launcher thanks to its ability.  May be slow at CQC even with Fury, but it's pretty devastating to crowds of Grineer (haven't tried Corpus yet) mooks at range.  I'm guessing that's what was intended here.

EDIT:  Just tested this on Pluto Survival.  While it knocks out crewman well enough, it takes a LITTLE longer on MOAs (by which time the crowd disperses), and nullifiers deflect the shot, rendering the Orvius kinda useless against them.

  9. FIRST OFF:  OBLIGATORY SPOILER TAG!   DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE FINISHED THE WAR WITHIN!

Methinks ya dun goofed up.  The Orvius is significantly more powerful than the Glaive Prime in every way aside from attack speed.

  10. After Formaing installing a Riven mod onto config B of my Vulklok (as it changes from a crit build to an anti-corpus status build), I can no longer change back to config A.  The UI hangs and I cannot click anything.  My frost still follows my cursor, but no mods show up, and no buttons work, either on the keyboard or on the UI.  Image is what happens when changing to config A. None of the enemies/objects regarding the Kuva resource farming are there. This could easily be just a way from DE to hide the droptables for a while. Forces people to actually play a ton to find out the drops for themselves by playing. I bet they'll fix the codex later on when they've seen all the drops represented by people finding them. Just my theory =/

As long as I'm credited for the scans I've done, I have no problem with that.

Actually, no.  I do.  EVEN USING HELIOS, you still need to play a few runs to get all the scans, assuming that - much like other enemies - you need 20+ scans to see everything.

  12. If this is the place to submit codex bugs, then I can report that the Kuva Guardians (the fat guys with the big sticks that guard kuva siphons) aren't showing up in the codex after being scanned.
