Its not the game mechanics.
Its not the farm (altho, i digress, some of it IS getting out of hand >_>).
Its not the power creep.
Its the players.
As time goes by and as updates arive, be they nerfs, buffs or additions so does the ''bad side'' of this community and player base.
Looking at both sides of the coin i can try and be objective and say: ''Yes, DE has made mistakes'' and ''Yes, the community is overreacting''; but that wont change the fact that the ammount of ''propper feedback'' is getting flooded with the ''cries, moans and groans of justice'' from the player base.
What some of you have to undarstand, so as long as DE wants to keep this game in beta we, as its ''playtesters'' need to keep a objective, but open, mind to the changes DE makes, be they good or bad. ESPECIALY the bad.
Picture yourself like this:
You come into your office (lets say you are miss Rebeca here). Its monday. You open the forum and forth comes the mud, the grime and filth (lets face it thats how most of the stuff is going on here lately -_-) in the form of ''DE sucks'', "You destroyed x/y frame/weapon", "Im quiting cause DE sucks". May be a bit exessive but thats how i would feel.
So now, picture yourselves, going trough the mail from the playerbase and the forum pages, how would you feel?
I can say myself, and this is the subjective part of me, i would give a award to DE for putting up with our crap and trying to fix their mistakes (yes those are their mistakes, yes they need to fix em, but they dont have to read such hatefull posts). Cause if it was me id ban every person that writes such subjective junk without either thinking things trough first and foremost. Yes the game would not last long with me in charge, but thats the reason im not the boss. >_>
People. Everyone. Please. Control your emotions when giving criticisms. Do not let the anger get the best of your judgement.
Yes i know this is internet and that its sewege runs deep, but for the love of all things saint do we need it here? Some of us have been here for a long time, some even longer. I want this game to reach the potential its capable of with all the bumps and bruises (there are gashes and broken bones along the way, but thats part of the travel, isnt it).
Again, please. Keep it civil and calm. Dont act like a child whose mother made that one little mistake and now you think its the end of the world. Most of us are grown ups.
In game we may be children, but on the forums, lets at the very least be civil.
TL;DR instead of constant yelling and screaming of the top of the mountain we need to start giving propper subjective feedback if DE makes a mistake or make it so that our "unhappyness" is not so... loud. Our forums will be cleaner and this game will be so much better,

Because it really is terrible if you actually stopped playing at u6-u7 and just came back.
My friend came back to game at u15 and asked me what can he get from new stuff easily?? my answer was " some new weapons since my clan done research" and "i can trade you some primes if you want", thats literally everything he could get within 24h with reasonable grind he is used to.
You may not notice small changes but once they pile up you have pretty long list.
To me its hardly a problem. Ive been playing this game at least a hour a day since open beta started and whenever i feel tyred or burned out i take a bit of a break and come back again. Sure the grind can be horrible at times, but porper dosage fixes it. At least in my case.

Please DE, Read us here, we really need you guys to improve this game- the drop rates mainly, and hell rebuff the unnecessary nerfs that was Implented on several weapons, Synoid Gamacore being one of them. and oh the stealth nerf as well one excal- bad move in many opinions.
synodi needed a nerf. it has gotten a nerf. still hits like a nuke. plus i dont see the problem in ammo mutation and weapon switching.

Honesty this is a fail on multiple levels. Warframe is NOT a freemium game. It never was, and i hope it never will be.

Problem isnt waiting time and grind existance, its the fact that with every update they are making it longer and/or more grindy.
Back in u6 we simply had to kill the boss, get 3 parts craft them(12h) and then craft frame itself(3days), majority of weapons could be bought for credits, then with u7 many of starting weapons needed to be crafted,
u8 introduced clantech which needs additional resources and 3 days waiting for anything you want to get and voids which werent that bad at that time.
u9 introduced rare void drops with some parts having 0.52% chance for drop
u10 introduced nekros requiring 2 additional keys before you can farm him.
u11 introduced oxium to make players grind again since veterans had S#&$ton of every other material
u12 introduced tenno lab and with it 6 days of waiting for clantech frames
u13 introduced hydroid, everyone probably remembers coordinates so theres no point in explaining and t4 keys which drop only from interception.
u14 introduced mirage, instead of grind additional 24h of waiting were introduced
u15 introduced archwing where literally every weapon requires parts, then introduced tellerium again because ppl had S#&$ton of everything else.
u16 introduced chroma which is not only additional 24h timewall, but also requires parts from other frames which need to be farmed and built(12h)
for past 10 updates de makes it harder to get stuff for free and ppl are getting fed up with it.
i havent even mentioned syndicates and void trader which are nothing but pure grind.
If de was so poor that they needed to worsen grind, why were they able to release all of that new content, making grind worse wasnt requirment, it was pure greed.
Written like that looks horrible... in practice tho, to me, its not a big problem. Ill find something else to do during the time it takes to craft them if im tyred of it. I dont understand when people say that ''syndicates are pure grind''. I have everything i want my two syndicates can give me and i never needed to use any of the popular ''farming'' methods. Void trader as well.
I must suck as a player then.

So now the DE has so much content and mods, fusing takes way to long, farming and getting credits...
It was fine back in update 10 but its getting ridiculous...
Im so dissapointed in you DE and I will recomend no one should try get into this game unless its fixed

and you would know they are making a killing how exactly? with that statement i will simply assume that you have a indepth knowlege of their bank account and know every cent they spend.

Well then pardon me for white knighting (something i find myself doing often cause of posts like this). You are wrong. DE indeed has to eat. The game is still fun. And im still gonna enjoy myself. Thank you and bye bye.

I have read the entire thing and i have to say i dont agree with anything in this post. In face i dont agree with about 90% that most of this community is whining about. Things like ''long wait times'' or ''time walls'' or people whining about nerfs.
Lately however its gotten worse. Not in the point were DE is making things worse, oh no, the comunity is getting worse.Take for example the nerf to synoid. People are literly foaming at their mouth about the nerf. Then i took my wifes account as she has synoid on it and guess what, the thing still hits like a truck full of dynamite without any issues. The only downside now being the ammo consumption but that is hardly a issue.
This game has over 100 weapons. Please, dont tell that ALL OF THEM are useless. Here is my loadout: burston prime (with syndicate mod), akmagnus and a melee of choice (i like melee in this game even tho its still in its infancy). I am also using Volt for almost every damn thing in the game i think of and NEVER ran into any trouble, hell im even blazing trough t4 exterminate without any problems and that thing is full to brim with elites.
Furthermore the game is so free that im literly spoiled for every damn f2p game out there. EVERYTHING aside from cosmetics is FREE (i need to put it in bold cause apparently people dont get it). Wait times are only that DE can at least earn some damn money. Nobody is forcing you to spend a single cent on it. I wish i had a job, i actually do, cause then id spend money on play monthly and would not feel bad about simply cause the game IS improving.
On the other hand true, its hardly all perfect and the game as well as developers have both their bad days and there are some things in game that are infuriating.
However if i wanted perfection id go to church and pray to god for a game.
EDIT: And another thing. As far as wait times are concerned, go play something else if you mind waiting. Simple solution.

you must be new to gamer world. by your theory all games are free2play and they dont force you into playing, but by adding an actual timewall, an enormous amount of time, you are actually forcing people to pay real money in order to play, cuz if not, they would be able to play once or twice per day, if they have the time to play, cuz some of us works, studies and that stuff. I have played many games, many years of gaming and this are the first steps to pay2win. before putting yourself above myself like if you would know more, make a bit of investigating on other games and their business model and see what im talking about. every game is free2play until you actually want to play it, thats when you have to put real money, like it just happened with raids. Or they make a timewall, or they make it too difficult to achieve, but curiously you can hand over money and you instatly get it.
And btw, lets ofc not talk about frost prime being removed...cuz that wasnt the smartest move from DE.
I tought we were talking about Warframe here and not other games. As far as being new, im a game for 20 years now.
And yes i stand behind what i say. People keep jumping the bandwagon when it comes to warframe being 'p2w' every time de does something. Lets clear something up: Warframe is f2p. You do not need to pay to get a warframe (all parts are farmable), you dont need to pay to buy weapons (all parts for a weapon are farmabe (granted you need the space for them but even that is easily accessable lately)) and lastly all sentinels and kubrows are farmable as well.
If time is your problem with warframe i suggest you move to a different game.
As far as raids are concerned they are not obligatory.
Again warframe is p2c (pay for convenience) not p2w. If you keep insisting that warframe is similar to other games i will simply asume you are not interested in a reasonable arguement. Ive been playing this game ever since it came out of closed beta. EVERYTHING i have i earned aside from cosmetics.

Jeez, people are so eager to jump the 'pay2win' shark. Please, think before you write stuff like this. You dont need to pay for anything in this game AT ALL that isnt strictly game mechanic. Only cosmetic items are optional.
Just cause it takes time DOES NOT make it a p2w game. Either pay the game while you wait or play something else.

I dont agree. I like this new system DE is using and i want more of it. The new weapons are mostly better than their individual components and gives a bit of a change then the usual ''get x ammount of this very rare resource''.
The only thing i would change is make the master lock higher than rank 3.
