  1. Your complaints are mostly all valid OP, but much of what upsets you about the game really revolves around the RNG aspects of it and that isn't going to improve simply because it's how they make their money on the game.

Digital Extremes is a business first and foremost. Their goal is to make money doing what they love (I don't doubt their passion), but still, to make money. They do and always will, take RNG and push it to its full limit, which simply means there is a balance they need to continually find between making the grind just hard enough that you're willing to pay to over come it but not quit the game entirely.

This balance is going to vary from player to player, but ultimately their goal will be to push the grind until the balance of people sways towards players quitting or not paying.

They have a higher focus on pumping out cosmetics than they do on fixing long lasting bugs, simply because we as a general fan base will keep paying for fashion-frame (Which I am completely guilty of myself). If you want proof of this just watch their Devstreams and compare how often they discuss talking about upcoming bugfixes or changes to enemy ai with things like new skins, new lighting, new tile sets, etc.  So we will keep putting up with the bugs and the matchmaking issues and the power creep and the nerfs and basically any other nagging complaints that routinely cycle through these forums on a daily basis because we will still ultimately play the game and pay the game.

When enough people have truly had their fill of the bugs, or the grind and they stop playing, then we will see a real attempt at fixes and improvement. Based on the player base that is shown for Warframe on steam, and how it's still gaining momentum with players, it's safe to assume most of the major concerns or gameplay elements you've brought up will be danced around by the devs in favour of pumping out more frames, syandanas, armour sets and harsh RNG conditions until that balance I spoke about starts going the other direction.

  2. Hey guys/gals, after over a year of playing Warframe and founding a clan dojo myself to be able to unlock all available items, I've decided to try and find several like-minded players to recruit to join me in my efforts of funding future research and assisting with missions, farming, sorties, etc.

    A bit about me:

35 years old, married and father of 2. I play on North America East server daily anytime after 7 or 8 pm Central time.

I'm currently MR 21 with over 1000 hours logged and have all frames available. I was drawn to this game by chance and really enjoy the gameplay and the vast array of things to do/items to collect. I do not take the game too seriously.

The clan ROAD is an acronym for "Roll Over And Die", as I started it when I first began and was getting my a** handed to me by grineer early on, lol...

I have a fully built dojo with all rooms and all possible research complete at this time.

I have a unique clan emblem as well.

At this time I intend to keep the clan size small with no more than 10-20 players allowed, as I'd like to be able to create strong squads who become comfortable playing together, and keep research costs to a minimum for future dojo items.

There are no specific requirements to join. There are no specific ranks to the clan. You do not need a mic. You will not be an underling and will not have a "boss" in the clan.

Again, if you're active/semi-active laid back player who enjoys this game and would like to begin gaming with familiar players and having fun while getting stronger at Warframe, ROAD may be for you.

You can reply here or message me on xbox live (GT rickthemang) if you're interested or have questions.

    Thanks!

  3. Unplugging the power cable from the Xbox for about 30 seconds is what has fixed this for me in the past. If you haven't looked into your Xbox system settings yet, have a look at your network connectivity to make sure there are no issues by running a connectivity test.

It may also be worth trying to log out of your warframe account on the forums and then trying to log onto Warframe on Xbox (although I doubt the 2 would conflict anyway),

  4. There must be an exaggerated sense of elitism against Draco on the PC versus the consoles, based on the replies in this thread and others. Being an Xbox warframer, and playing Draco sometimes several times a day to rank up forma'd gear, I can count on one hand only the number of times I've had any fellow gamers show elitism to specific frames being used in Draco. Additionally, I've also encountered very few gamers expressing issues with low ranked players entering Draco to level up. I've been playing steadily for a little over a year now (Novemeber 2014, close to 1000 hours in game)

I've found the vast majority of players attempt to contribute in some way during the mission. When someone is unable to hold their own despite trying, the group tends to extract after the round is over and everyone gets on with their lives.

The node is optional, as is the way you choose to play the game and level up your gear. If the same people who complain about the relevancy of Mastery Rank truly felt it was unimportant, most of the Draco hate would be gone anyway. Don't care about MR 21? Great, then it shouldn't bother you to see players boosting to reach it.

Again, maybe it's different on the PC due to the larger player base, but the "issues" brought up about Draco seem to come from the PC community on these forums.

  5. I finally transmuted the Terminal Velocity mod last night which is used in the Zephyr-Tonkor build. A quick search will show you in depth how to play that build, but it allows the grenades to explode on impact making any prior difficulties with aiming, obsolete.

I've basically modded the gun For increase crit chance and damage, with room for a couple of elemental mods thrown to suit. The results are awesome damage and when used with the Zephyr build, death from above.

  6. I think identifying what frames and their skills will be most effective for the various sorties and building around that aspect, rather than a weapon, will provide you with an easier time trying to solo. Having said that, there are certain missions that will generate where it's just easier to find even 1 other player to run with.

Chaos Nyx is capable of soloing Mobile Defense (keep chaos active and cast absorb over the terminals when you're not casting chaos), interceptions, and Defense.

Invis Loki is capable of soloing spy, exterminate and survival missions. Also interceptions with irradiating disarm.

A shield polarize Mag is effective at most corpus missions if you can avoid taking much damage.

Soloing sorties is more about controlling or avoiding the enemies while achieving the objective, rather than killing everything that moves (exterminate and defence aside).

  7. I finally caved and bought the bundle with Elytron, Onorix and the Corvas... I needed all 3 anyway for MR and frankly ran out of patience farming archwing items due to the overly drawn-out defence missions, diluted drop tables and lack of players who have any interest in playing the missions.

  8. I have 2 builds for her.

The first revolves around only high duration and high range mods, and utilizes sleep arrow mostly to put to sleep groups of enemies and then go I for the kill (orthos prime with primed reach is my go-to here). I use this build more for team play.

The second build revolves only around high efficiency/duration and high power mods to go into prowl mode or make use of Artemis bow. I use this build more for solo play.

Both builds have yielded solid results so far. She may be my new favourite frame.

  9. No, it works just as fine.

Ivara is not allowed to run, slide, Or use any assets of parkour 2.0 while in prowl as it will deactivate her prowl

Yeah I've figured out that these movements will deactivate Prowl. What's happening to me on occasion is as soon as I cast it and move the joystick (console Tenno) at all, it deactivates. Sometimes I will do this 3 times in a row and it will deactivate every time. I'm almost certain I'm not in sprint mode before moving.

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?

  10. I've noticed at times after activating it, upon taking my first step (not sprinting) it will immediately deactivate. I can stand in one place and remain cloaked but once I move, it disables. When this occurs I have plenty of energy remaining, so it's not due to low energy.

The only thing I can think of that seemed somewhat consistent when it occurs, is that enemies have spotted me and are heading towards me. Perhaps I'm just used to Loki going invisible in any situation.

So do I need to be unseen first, before being able to activate Prowl and then move? Is this a bug? Any feedback would be appreciated!

  11. This idea has probably been suggested numerous times already, but I'd be happy if they made the vacuum mod usable for all sentinels, and then change Carrier's unique ability to significantly buffing/increasing the max ammo/clip size capacity for all equipped weapons.

This would then also provide a helpful companion for when the potential future multi-shot rework takes effect, keeping Carrier relevant for certain load outs and mission types.

  12. It's a coupon that can be used for market purchases to reduce the plat cost of certain items. I received a 25% discount coupon last night and purchased a syandana with it. The coupon is only usable for a single purchase, and cannot be used to purchase multiples of the same item, ie. You cannot buy 20 catalysts at once and receive the discount for all 20, only the first one. Most items qualified for the discount, aside from bundle packages.
