To be honest, whenever I see someone selling parts for stuff like Lato Prime or Excal Prime, I just assume they're blowing hot air out of their blowholes. I haven't seen anyone actually using a Lato Prime since I was on PC. That was a LONG time ago.

How did you get the Lato Prime?
There's still people selling the parts. No idea how they've got them, but a guy was in PS4 Trade chat yesterday selling Lato Prime parts for a small fortune.

In my opinion a master of only one frame is master of no frame.
I actually wanted you to read my second post after that one, but I guess you didn't. I don't advocate only using one frame, I advocate mastering one frame before you decide to go onto another. I don't believe that in 30 ranks you can actually get a feel for what one particular warframe has to offer; To do that you have to get it to 30, add a potato, perhaps forma a few times, and change around mods until they work. That is mastery, and I wish they could rank us on how we perform that way. Unfortunately I've run into MR 15's that don't know basics of modding or even something as simple as kubrow breeding (even though the latter doesn't directly influence MR). I would like to see high mastery ranks actually meaning a mastery of the game, instead of Draco-farmers.

That person might be the best in the world at hammering a nail into a wall, but they will then be useful during any other situation. Need to screw in a screw? Gotta call in a friend. Need to measure how long this shelf needs to be? Got to call in a friend. Need to cut that shelf down to size? You get the idea...
Having a workable but broad scale of knowledge is better than a hyper specialised knowledge. This is why many people with high functioning aspergers can not work in the areas of their interest. Because while they might be the best at remembering train numbers, they can not do anything else at all.
Going back to the original post literally, there are hammers nowadays that have screwdriver and levelling capabilities...

Or you can just edit your post.
My computer blew up, so posting, quoting, and editing from a PS4 is kind of a pain in the &#!. Hence my low post count.

Competence in a number of areas feeds back into a better understanding of all of them, and a much better ability to 'think outside the box' that you put yourself in when you limit yourself to just one discipline:

Your second post wasn't there when I quoted, cool your jets.
That's as much for you as it is for anyone else that would quote that post again.

Except warframes all move about the same, and so proficiency there is moot. And when you play enough of other Warframes you learn just how similar a lot of powers are, and in playing other warframes, you can find new uses for your preferred frame's powers.
I'll put this in layman's terms now, since this is the second time I've been quoted before anyone bothered to scroll down to the next post; I see too many people going to Draco and maxing frames, weapons, and companions, thereby gaining mastery rank. Whilst doing so, these people are not actually using the frames, they're just levelling them (big difference). Unless they're actually using the frames, they will never actually be good with it. They'll just have a high mastery rank and a lot of maxed out gear, with no knowledge about how the game is played.
Is that spelt-out enough now?

No, they won't. You can only become so good at something, after which use is not going to give you any more benefit.
Also you're limiting yourself by not looking at it from new perspectives. Having a better understanding of something else can give you insights about your original choice that you never had the opportunity to see, that can help you improve further. This is a team game, we are supposed to work together so that the group is more than the sum of its parts. The player who does not understand how to work with his team-mates, through never having experienced the game as they do, is a weak link.
You didn't read my second post before posting that. Secondly, your quotation choice is inappropriate since Robert Heinlein specialized in writing science-fiction.

I don't personally advocate maining a frame, but I do agree that you should have a favourite. Mine is Oberon (loading haters...99%) but I switch frames often enough to facilitate the situation, and by doing so I raise my mastery rank. I might not be a fan of Limbo or Hydroid, but I use them every once in a while because they both tandem really well with Frost in defense missions, or Ash for stealthy-stuff, or Atlas for Earth missions. You get it.
Bottom line is, you're playing as a Tenno. A master of WarframeS. Try to experiment and not be too close-minded about which frame you bring into battle. Every frame is technically the best frame at what it does.

When you choose between a player who mains things and a player who gets everything you choose between a guy who has a hammer and a guy who has a complete toolbox.
The one who consistantly uses only one tool will become more proficient with it than one who spends the same time trying to master many.

My clan is The Tenno Sanctum. We're currently a shadow clan with 8 members, but we're looking to expand. We have an alliance formed with Royal Party, titled Royal Sanctum. Add me on PS4 if you'd like to start working together. My PSN is i-Loot
EDIT: We are now a storm clan with 9 members. We have almost all research done in our dojo. I, personally, play a lot of archwing missions, but the rest of my clan is focused on resource extraction. Royal Party is a mountain clan and has 60-something members the last time I checked. They're allied with five smaller ghost clans. I'm active on Warframe almost every single day, as well as my clan mates. Royal Party is also a very active clan.

I'm stoked for this. I've been spending my time helping new players and some older players trying to get back into the game get ready for this update by explaining some of the changes that are about to take place. They're excited as all hell for this. Everyone on console that I've been talking to is super-pumped for this update to hit. Bottom line, we're all anticipating the coming changes, and all our bodies are ready.
