  1.  Why was it perfectly under control????

If someone is close to destroy all Tenno at once, why not send at least one hundred or so after him?

Also the moon was back in realspace in the end so your argument is invalid.

If id been on a minor Mission down on Earth and suddently the moon would fall out of the void, id abort it and go to see what in the world is going on.

Like I said. It seemed under control at the time.  Before we found out what the Stalker was up to.

Yea. The Moon was back in real space in the end.  And we got the Lotus herself as our backup when that happened.

  2. no, but it just doesnt make that much sense does it?

Logistics. Moving a massive force in a small amount of time is a big undertaking.  You don't just give up holds and other delicate missions to stop something that seemed like it was perfectly under control at the time.

The only reason we were even on the moons is because our particular Tenno happened to be following him and saw him go through a portal.  We didn't even know we were going to end up on the moon.

  3. Are you implying she doesn't have a character? She's a guide, a watchful protector, and a motherly figure. That's the role I was referring to.

I'm not saying the character is extremely deep and complex, but it definitely has a conceptual archetype that its built on.

Imagine if there was a character that was an extremely tough, tom-boyish female that got into a lot of fights. If she wore a miniskirt, tube top, and high heels you might think it's an odd choice, no?

Yea, but your example is a polar opposite. More fitting would be, Imagine if there was a character that was an extremely tough, tom-boyish female that got into a lot of fights and showed of a bit of cleavage and wore a body suit.

The clothes don't even matter. It's a non example. If she were wearing what you described that would be inappropriate. But her design is congruent with the design of the rest of the game.

  4. Sure there are girls in real life that dress more provocatively, but you're saying that it's beneficial to her matronly image, and it most assuredly is not. It's not sex that I have a problem with, it's that it doesn't fit with her character.

HA! Her character? What were you sitting there watching it thinking, "No one who says 'It's the Grineer' would wear THAT!"

You're reading way too deep into this both ways.

Cool Dev stream round ups though.

  5. Keep mustaches temporary please.

Trust me, I'm all for having silly/sexy/suave mustaches.  But not forever.  I don't want this game to turn into another TF2; a game with FANTASTIC art direction that got completely obliterated.

  6. Heat damage is not exclusive to Ember. You can put heat mods on any weapon you want. Tell your friends you're playing Ember and plan to use Accelerant often and let them adjust their builds.

If you want to pug Ember also has an augment that lets her buff other players with additional heat damage. This buff scales with power strength and duration and applies to the ally's weapons and warframe abilities.

but if that other player has like Gas or Explosive elements... then accelerant does nothing.  It seems pretty unlikely that they'll get just a straight Heat damage buff since accelerant only buffs Heat.

  7. Hey! I saw your posts about writing this up a while back!  I'd love to help out, but I'm not super sure how much time I'd be able to devote to it seeing as I'm currently schooling, working and am currently part of an RPG group right now (full plate).  If involvement just involves emails and posting here on the boards it'd be easier to keep up with since I won't have to devote a set amount of time to discussing it "live."

That said! I've played in numerous tabletop RPGs including Pathfinder, Dark Heresy, Black Crusade, Rogue Trader, Death Watch (lots of 40k, I know), an RPG my friend had written called Centurian, an online "tabletop" RPG called Remnants of Earth, and an RPG I co-wrote called Breeze. (whew)

I've only GM'd once and aaaaaalmost Gm'd another one but not everyone could commit so we dropped it (I mention this because I wrote out the whole setting with the intent on having it be a living setting that'd exist and move along despite or in accordance to PC choices.

I'd love to see a set of the rules if you have any, just to see if I can break a PC or whatever in the meantime.

I'll PM you an email as well.

  8. Let's not get hasty here till we get further information on how DE plans to deal with "mandatory" mods.

In the mean time you and I can still enjoy the game till further news.

I like this attitude. Some people just get too caught up in video game drama.

I personally don't agree with the mod change, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, or start making personal attacks. Just be civil.
