Some additional information btw. The headshot clearly triggers but does not apply the damage multiplier.
I tested this with laser sight, unmodded otherwise. When hitting the head, laser sight will trigger(gives the active icon), but the damage stays the same at 450 rad damage vs corpus shield(easiest to test). If the weapon crits it goes up to 720 rad damage.Shooting at the feet or in the back does not trigger lazer sight buff.
This happened right after the hotfix on 2018-0125. I hope it wasn't intentional because it would be a rather huge nerf to this weapon. This is one of my favorite guns in the game for looks and feels alone and it proven to be very competent at very high levels. So hopefully it can be fixed?

Ever since this recent patch, the Arca Plasmor physically can no longer headshot, no matter what I do. I've seen people discuss this, but not enough yet, please fix this DE!

I'm also having this issue with this recent patch or so. Just tried it again after a few weeks and it's not headshotting anything.

Same issue here. Can't put Umbra back on, can't finish the quest. Completely locked out from doing anything with him or finishing the main story.
