  1. In the Empty Dojo (In the Bleak Midwinter)

    In the empty Dojo,
    A lonely Tenno stands,
    New mission from the Lotus,
    The Tenno must go

    Bodies fallen,
    Droves on droves,
    droves on droves,
    Back into the Dojo,
    The lonely Tenno goes

    The Lotus Hek can't destroy,
    Nor Alad V dissect,
    For in the empty Dojo,
    Is the Tenno she protects

    Without mercy,
    It defends,
    A shield against danger,
Aim is sharp and blade is swift,
    Made to protect Her
  2. Frost's powers post-modification actually make him an extremely effective offensive frame. Not in the same tier as Nova, but considering that he can lock down and shatter an entire room and Ice Wave is surprisingly powerful for a second ability, he's not bad at all if you mod for power strength and efficiency instead of trying to lean on snowglobe.

Be that as it may, you said it yourself, Frost is not Nova-tier is terms of damage. He's probably the closest thing we've got, but he's still not even close to Nova's damage output, and that's what's needed amongst the male frames.

  3. @Mental_Zero Thanks so much it made a lot of sense now. I have one more question. How do certain people have 60 mod points on their frames/guns?

Okay, that is because of items called Orokin Reactors and Orokin Catalysts, you can get them at the Marketplace or their blueprints are sometimes available as rewards for Alert Missions. You can install these, Catalysts on weapons, Reactors on frames, and they double your mod capacity for that item.

  4. Okay, let's start from the top:

    1. In regard to the frames affecting damage, say you have an unmodded MK1-Braton, which normally does 16 damage per shot and you used Rhino's Roar ability when the ability is unranked. An unranked Roar increases damage by 10%, increasing the Braton's damage by 1.6 points total, spread across the three damage types in variable amounts. This is the same deal with other abilities that increase damage.

    2. A few basic things about mods on weapons. Going to just go with Multishot and Elemental mods here. Multishot mods are very simple, the percentage listed on the mod is the percentage of firing an extra shot out of the weapon you're using. If the chance is 100% or over, it's a guaranteed second shot from rifles/snipers/pistols. With shotguns, multishot just increases the number of pellets fired with each shot. Elemental mods add damage of a certain type to the shot fired. They also include chances to "proc" this chance is shown in a weapon's stats under "Status". When an element procs, we'll use Heat for example, the target will burst into flames and begin to panic and try to put out the flames, keeping them from attacking momentarily while doing damage over time to the target. Elemental mods can also be combined to create more elemental damage types.

    3. Finally, Formas. A forma is an item that can be bought in the Marketplace or built with the correct resources and blueprint. Notice how when you go to mod your frame/weapon, there are those little symbols in certain slots? Those are Polarities, if you place a mod with a matching Polarity into that slot, the cost of the mod is halved. What Formas do is when a frame or weapon reaches level 30 and you have a Forma, you can reset the item back to level 0 and use a Forma to add an additional Polarity slot on the weapon(think kind of like prestieging in CoD).

Hope that helps and welcome to the war, Tenno.
