  1. A big selling point of this game is that it is based on sidegrades. It caters to people that dont feel like grinding a new set of weapons each 2 weeks because they are just plain better. Introduction of straight upgrades might decrease game population. Less people = less money. And this isnt a charity, but a business - it has to make money or else it shuts down.

  2. Possible to be handled in a stage/tier process. This was... discussed during the post-MOA event livestream. Example would be:

     

    100m donated - Unlocked Burston Prime

    250m donated - Unlocked ??? (Boar Prime)

    500m donated - Unlocked ??? (Lex Prime)

    1000m donated - Unlocked ??? (Catacomb Key / Void Key)

    2000m donated - Unlocked ??? (Increased percentages of Catacomb runs dropping Frame BP and parts)

     

     

    What do you guys think? Would this ever be done?

     

    Prime is a suffix for the original orokin era weapons/frames, which means that it was THE original tenno equipment which non-prime tenno stuff is based on. Burston, lex and boar dont seem like tenno weapons, so we will proly see no primes there. Vandals on the other hand... ;3

  3. no one is forcing anyone into getting each and every new weapon that comes out, unless you need all the researchable weapons for eSwag

     

    edit: i do however agree that forcing players that do want new weapons into big clans in which players have no ties whatsoever is bad, and dojo building should scale

  4. if you think a weapon is bad, dont use said weapon. You have plenty to choose from. If you already bought it then S#&$, i guess you gonna rank it up to 30, leave it/sell it and go on with your business, huh?

     

    all weapons in this game are amazing if you potato and mod them heavily, while most of them are pretty crap vanilla. Dread needs no work done to it

    We're glad you like the new Galleon tileset! We definitely had fun making it. :)

     

    hey could you look into containers in a few places on the galleon? Mainly the wider ones. They're facing walls, so if you destroy them they unload the loot in between the wall and the container so that it cant be picked up

     

    besides that the galleon really does look amazing :3

  6. if it had armor ignore it would be too similar to the paris, no? There have to be SOME tradeoffs to each weapon out there - otherwise they'd be the same, and it would be too boring. If they give it armor ignore with the stats it currenly has, it becomes an upgrade - a plainly better weapon; if they balance it out to be more on par with paris, it becomes a skin. Both would suck

     

    dread has 2 polarity slots - so that you can pump more damage mods into it - faster draw, faster projectile travel time, more raw damage - so more damage to unarmored parts and headshots. It's a sidegrade, not an upgrade. It cant be a better weapon - devs said not once and not twice that they dont want one weapon or one mod build to dominate the game - they want variety, hence no upgrades and constant balancing

     

    it is suppose to be useful in different situations and for different playstyles/enemies than the paris - if you cant find a use for it, it doesnt mean that everyone else cant. That's a very egoistic way of thinking

  7. pvp doesnt have to be shooting and killing other players, no? Just any form of competition is fine, like parkour for points, speed running, team speed running, what team can kill a boss/fulfill an objective faster

     

    yet when someone says pvp everyone thinks about killing and balance. If balance is an issue, create few pvp frames that players can choose from when entering a pvp match, with preset weapons/abilities that would be balanced and there you go
