  1. So I recently updated and started up warframe after hearing about the new update. After being eager to try out the new mode, I find that I don't even have the starting quest to initiate said game mode.

I have mastery rank 11, so I know that i'm well above the requirements for mastery rank.

Based on what I read, there doesn't seem to be any other requirements besides that.

    EDIT:

    -----------

Never mind, found the start up thing in the codex that gives you the mission.

Really should have something mentioning that in the forum post for the update....

     Please close this topic asap.

  2. This is true.

Recently tested this just a few minutes ago. Really hoping this is just a bug that has yet to be fixed because I don't want to live in a world where rhino skin gets de-cast just because I accidentally fell into a respawn hole.

  3. Alright so i'll try to be updating this regularly.....

Maybe you'll find something you're looking for here?:D

If you're interested in anything you see here, just pm me here or ingame. (My forum name being the same as my ingame name)

  4. I feel like with the way the new damage system is set up, along with the amount of mods that have been getting pumped out, that there should be a way to expand the amount of mod slots you have for your weapon/warframe.

Being able add more slots would mean the possibility of even more mod combinations, and even better builds.:D

  5. I agree with all the points that you have made here in terms of buffing various frames that need it.

However, I don't agree with nerfing ANY of the frames that supposedly need to be nerfed. They did so with ember by taking away her tanking ability, overheat and turning ember into a one trick flaming poo shooter. That overheat ability that allowed her to tank was what made her stand out from the feminine-like frames. (I was admittedly upset after the change, this being the reason I brought it up.

Make buffs where they are needed but for the love of lotus, don't throw other frames under the bus.because doing so is only gonna put the same frustration you're dealing with on those who play those previously mentioned frames. 'nuff said

  6. The bottom line for this is that it's not survival if I have to babysit something else. Really all this survival mode has the potential to be right now is a rehashed variation of defense mode. Instead of watching my cryopod, i've gotta watch my life support system.

All it did was bring back the same frustration people had with defense in a new form. Give me honest to goodness survival to where I pit my skill against massive hordes of enemies, or don't implement it at all.

  7. The tanks of oxygen only come 4 times within the first 10 minutes.

    There's no RNG element there.

But for the rest of your post, I agree, especially with the boss drops.

Actually that's not true about the oxygen tanks.

The amount of oxygen tanks is also random. I had one game I played where I ended up getting 5 (My best time at 18:32 currently), had another play through where I only got 2 tanks within the 10 minutes.

  8. Really, the idea of this survival mode that currently stands ISN'T truly survival.

In practice it's not much different than playing defense, other than the babysitting ends up being transferred to watching your  life support systems. While I will admit its a bit of a change from playing defense, it still isn't much better in terms of having the freedom of only watching for YOUR survival.

After 10 minutes is over and oxygen drops stop coming, you end up having to rely on the somewhat rare chance of oxygen drops from the enemies. Not really a matter of surviving, more so a chore.

Its somewhat frustrating because survival had so much more potential, but it was reduced to just another variation of defense with a different name.:\

  9. I'm talking about whatever you've got the mod installed on, not the mod's rank itself. (Too large a drain on installed card.) If you've still got points to spare there, then I don't know. :(

    Ah poop, never mind I got what you meant. Geez i'm dumb.; A;

Thanks for bearing with me on that one.

  10. Yes but don't worry. If my quick test is anything to go by, you just ran out of mod points. Only the error message is messed up, not the fusion itself.

But how could I be out of mod points? It still has 4 more mod points needed in order to max out.

  11. So apparently I can't upgrade mods now after this update.

gives me this error when I try to add more fusion cores to fuse it up to the next level of the mod:

    Anyone else getting this problem?

  12. I have had the idea for this room for quite some time, but I was hesitant to bring it up since this will only work if implemented properly, but here goes.

    The Warp Gate

This room will contain what is basically a teleporter that can take you to any spaceship, planet, etc.

The kicker to this being that there is no way of knowing where exactly it will take you until you actually get to the destination (And even then you might not know.)

These areas would be randomly generated, based on what is chosen out of the pick of the litter of different possibilities. Meaning that these places can end up having any faction, and can have any type of objective or mission mode that currently exists in the game.

With that being said, there would be a small credit fee for using the Warp gate, perhaps 500 credits or so. Also, you could  be able to ballpark what place you would be going to by using a special set of warper materials that you can get from either buying them for a set amount of credits, or by getting them as a drop from enemies, containers, and so on.

Also, to combat any frustration that might come with adding even more mats to the drop table, that would only make more people rage about the drop rate of other things when they are trying to get a hold of the materials that they need, these warp gate materials can be put on a separate drop table from the other mats. (Meaning there would be a chance to get other mats along with these, if you're lucky)

Alright well, that about sums up what I had in mind.

Let me know what y'all think.:D

  13. This bug was most likely cause from an issue with scaling up the credits recieved based on level. I recently saw a message from the update notes thread and it has been noted that this is now a known issue and will be worked on ASAP.:)

btw, i'm still playing the missions....

Except i'm only farming mods now lel.
