What if the base damage remained line-of-sight dependent, but the status detonation ignored terrain?  Would feel nicer since Dark Verse and Tragedy are casted separately, thus lines-of-sight certainly have changed in the duration of casting.  Status detonation ignoring line-of-sight could then be used to more support the damage of teammates rather than your own.

    There is the idea of line-of-sight from every Wordwarden or every Paragrimm, but that sounds rough to implement.

    Line-of-sight requirement for AoE is my least favorite thing in the game.  There's so many things that weeny enemies can be behind and they actively seek it.

  3. A follow-up to "Fixed Exodia Valor increasing combo points on every Melee hit instead of just lifted enemies." that was in hotfix 26.0.6(.1).

    Exodia Valor (and to a lesser extent, Enduring Strike) now seems to increase combo point gain against any enemy for 12 seconds after applying Lifted, refreshing with any successful melee attack on any target, not just the Lifted one, instead of the +200% Additional Combo Count on Lifted Enemies.

    Procedure to replicate:  Zaw with Exodia Valor equipped.  Apply lifted (enemy must survive the lifting hit), melee hit different non-lifted enemy and still gain increased combo points, wait up to 11 seconds, melee hit any enemy regardless of lifted status and still gain increased combo points.

  4. Staff stance Clashing Forest on a Balla staff Zaw Neutral 1 melee attack only applies "Lifted" to targets to the left of the Warframe. Works properly on non-Zaw melee weapons. Possible that attack area isn't centered? Staff Zaw used is Balla - Seekalla - Vargeet II Jai.

  5. Slam Attacks give combo count when hitting companions and allies while not the host.

    Zaw arcane Exodia Valor's Combo Chance on Lifted enemies always gives full Combo Chance bonus regardless if enemies (and allies as per above bug) are in "Lifted" status.

    Melee mod Enduring Strike possibly doesn't work at all.

    When you've got a mustache, you're not just "that guy"; you are "that guy with the mustache".  As it turns out, mustaches are really noticeable with Iron Skin on.  Even if I get nothing out of this, at least I've advanced the Rhino fashion meta.

  7. Going the Limbo route, Limbo + triple Mesa is most efficient.  Why even Desecrate if looting is needlessly dangerous?  Why use inferior abilities or crowd control abilities if they're counter-productive?

     

    Nerf Limbo's rift energy regen?  Time for Frost + triple Mesa.  Are we really going to nerf Frost after buffing him?

     

    Oh no.  Frost is nerfed to oblivion.  Time for E.Shield duration Volt + triple Mesa.

     

    See where this is going?

     

    Edit: and before someone gets on their high-horse about having fun or playing other frames because they're fun, I'm not talking about fun.  I'm talking about efficiency.

  8. Remember that this is technically a Free-to-Play game.  They won't dare nerf Mesa.  Mesa brings in Platinum sales.  Greedy Mag actually hurts Platinum sales.  

     

    From our perspective, the problem is Mesa, as her Peacemaker is by far the strongest ability for clearing defense-based content.  Provided with enough energy, she alone can easily defend something four other warframes would struggle to keep defended.  Miasma, Reckoning, Radial Javelin, Cataclysm, Crush, Prism, Rhino Stomp, Overload, and whatever other radial abilities all can't compete with the sheer effectiveness of Peacemaker.

     

    From their perspective, raw data shows that Mag's Pull is being used four times more than any other ability in the game.  But, sales data shows that Mag isn't bringing in nearly as much Platinum as the frame it groups with most often, Mesa.  Money says to nerf Mag... and maybe buff Mesa to receive energy from restores and EV while in Peacemaker.

     

    Oh.  And those saying the game being all about moving, running, jumping, leaping, and evading?  One word.  Grineer.  If the game is all about moving, running, jumping, leaping, and evading, why have enemies that completely invalidate it?

     

    Edit: And I don't regret insulting this community's beloved devs for saying something so completely nearsighted as what they said about Greedy Pull on the dev stream.

    On a more serious note, this is not the change I would like to see regarding Greedy Pull. Not precisely, anyway. It had good uses apart from camp sitting, like being able to run a supply train for the entirety of a proper running survival or a mobile defense.

    Their raw data doesn't show that Greedy Mag is just being used to fuel Mesa, who is currently dominating content.  Even more so in Draco groups running 2x Mesa because the Mag must do both the energy feeding and crowd control with Pull.
