  1. I fully support this, heck, tutorials are always sought after. I've had problem with translating information several times for my MR 1 kiddies, even more detailed information on the warframe abilities and alt fire weapons would be pretty awesome too. If not for the dataminers and play testers for warframe wiki, I would've been totally lost, myself. With the less farmed areas like the Orokin Vaults becoming more and more vacant, it's become harder to create teams of people willing to help new players farm for mods and other. Some of the information might even become lost for new players, in turn, leading them to the only choice of buying mods for platinum, which arguably however is a better approach than the almost sadistic one of running all orokin derelict missions solo with a key equipped. I'm not even sure the way to farm Mirage is integrated well into warframe...

before rampling any more, I'd just end with a reminder, that yes, I am indeed for this request ^^!

Actually, at no point it's stated that Prime Warframes are the originals, we just know they are from the Orokin era. Our starting frame comes from that era, sleeping in a cryocapsule, yet it's the normal version and not the Prime version. We also assemble the parts of the original Titania, Limbo, Mirage and Octavia, and they are all normal frames, not Primes. We also see normal Octavia on the webcomic "What remains"

A possible explanation is that "Prime" doesn't refer to the first, but rather an Upgrade. Think of it as Battlefailed's Super weapon "Failcannon" which was later upgraded to "Failcannon Prime".

According to the wiki, the warframes we run around using today are derived, or rather knockoffs, of orokin design without orokin technology. It doesn't say that prime warframes were the original, but fact is that the warframes we use are replica's of the orokin designed prime warframes... according to the warframe wiki. I would like better references, so if you'd please point towards some better clarifying data.

  3. I don't see anything wrong in keeping as is. Of cause the songs that people play are downright terrible because most are offbeat or the instruments just doesn't add up due to inexperience in music composition. I think DE has put a lot of thought into creating this system for limiting the creation of songs which generate tinnitus or other unwanted side effects. My only regret is that no matter what you use as instruments (beside drums, drums are fine) the outcome will turn out... bad. Right now I myself are running with a sound (can't really call it a song or music) that I think is terrible.

My problem with the system isn't that we should be able to fiddle with more settings (I think this will ultimately show how inferior people really are at composing music), I think having better instruments to play with (or at best more).

As a side note, I don't usually play with sound myself, so an alternative (which I will be aiming for) is to turn down the volume of my instruments to 0, and create a song that fits her abilities as I see fit, so I do not annoy other players while optimizing my own gameplay.

They still can do it, instead of adding it to the prime access they would add it to the void.

They could make the parts dropping from orokin containers, void traps and from enemies found in the void. (oberon style drop system)

For the next prime access they would add X warframe variant along with the 2 weapons, extras and as a big bonus the other frame could be now found in the void.

It's can be permanent access like in asian client, also like other  warframes it can be obtainable by farming or quest.

I am completely confused here. Are we discussing an orokin themed warframe, or are we discussing a warframe that is exclusively available as a prime warframe? Adding a prime variant warframe to droptables of normal missions or quests would completely defeat the point of the warframe being primed - wouldn't it? That would make Titania a prime warframe y'know.

  5. It is possible lore-wise. Warframe's primed variants were supposedly the original warframes from the orokin era, The warframe's primed variants are of orokin technology and the warframes that we walk around with today are just knockoffs of these orokin era warframes, so having a standalone prime warframe is a possibility, but I doubt it will happen. As YUNoJump says:

Warframes take a whole lot of effort to make compared to weapons, so it isn't very likely.

Which is absolutely correct. It's a very very low possibility of it happening, due to the fact that DE will have to put a lot of money and effort into creating this orokin prime warframe that would break the warframe market due to its exclusiveness.

Another way to interpret this problem would be to create an prime access exclusive warframe (much like prime accessories are prime access exclusive), which would not touch the market, but rather, create a giant uproar by the warframe community.

DE keeps everything accessible for non-paying-players of warframe, and that is how they want to keep it (They've said in a devstream somewhere if my memory serves me right). Making exclusive content would defeat the purpose of keeping warframe non-paying-player friendly, and creating an exclusive prime warframe (even though it sounds realistic and awesome) would not only be costly by DE, but would also create DE more hate than they deserve by the community.
I think the sentence I remember from [DE] Rebecca is: "We don't want to make warframe pay to win".

and if you think I'm wrong with the exclusive content, then think of Excalibur Prime. I am so bummed out over not having this warframe, and I really wish this warframe weren't founder's exclusive. Making a standalone prime would probably create the same feeling for new players joining the game.
"But there's prime vaults, they come back periodically" I hear you say.
This is warframe, a third person shooter action MMO where you throw balls in the face of your enemies to captivize them, you generate giant swords out of light and uses it as a slashing blade, you do your metronome dance as an invisible warframe on top of giant heaps of infested flesh and periodically go farm with an ability that desecrates dead bodies for extra loot. If these abilities weren't immidiately available to us, and we should wait multiple months before the chance (not even a guarenteed chance) to get the items needed for such abilities, I would not only be incredibly discouraged, I would be mad at DE for these limitations.

With all of this being said, I do like the idea of a standalone prime, I however think it would create too many problems for DE to become a reality... and I should really learn to keep my comments medium sized... yes.

I don't like the ongoing trend to lock co-op out of story quests. This is a co-op game at heart, I would love DE to recognize this and embrace it in the next story missions. Let's have some sort of story when you actually get to meet and team up with other Tenno for a common cause.

I would've preferred a co-op quest too, but I honestly think it's best with keeping it solo. Having a Nezha with maglev sliding through missions while leaving the party behind is also a non-beneficial factor. Also keeping to solo play with a quest that relies that heavily on music (as they repeatably try to rub into your face) must be quite essential, so you don't have a 4 man warcry competition that completely ruins the sound design of the levels.

I don't mind more solo quests in the future, but actually having a quest where more tenno appear would be awesome, because so far, all I've seen are my tenno, warframes, non-controlled warframes and enemies. Having a quest that actually confirm the existence of other tenno, instead of only the queens referring to more of you, but never meeting one, would be absolutely awesome and something I will look forward to.

  7. Kubrow are awesome cuddly creatures that will (soon be able to) walk around your spaceship and assist you on mission, but I can't help but feel that my Kubrow familiy i as little bit lacking. There has also been multiple events centering around mods for your warframe and arsenal (Which is kinda expected, the game being called warframe and all), but I feel like that my kubrows has been left out of the fun, and was wondering if there will ever come any new mods for Kubrows? And if they are on the way, will you be introducing them together with Kavats, so the mods could be accessable for both animal companions?

  8. I still want Limbo's Ruft Surge, since it a great ability. It's scaling is incredibly, it's duration is fair, it has a great amount of damage potential, but it's energy cost doesn't suit his overall Rift walk! since he's limited to only pick up energy when he's out of the rift, he doesn't have enough energy regain (even with  Coaction Drift) to accommodate it's overall energy cost. If anything, I think you should give him a passive like mag's, which let's him for a short duration be able to pick up items through the rift, and then maybe get some tweaks onto Cataclysm, or maybe even give his Rift Walk the "Arrow Treatment" like you did with Vauban's balls. Each rift gives something different to the player, like you described with the increase holstering time and what not. One could give energy, another life, a third speed holstering, and a fourth maybe some armor (since he's really squish).

In conclusion: You can change Rift Surge to something else, but then please give it the "Arrow Treatment" that you gave Vauban's balls, where it changes the bonuses of being in the rift, rather than just be immortal with 'some energy regain'.

It would be awesome if Limbo's Passive would make him able to pick up items through the rift, rather than not being able to.

I think that Limbo has great potential, but he's Cataclysm has to change a little, like give it a knock down effect like his Banish, which would give him a great versatility.

  9. Aye. Still trying to figure out the problem so I can specify it in this post, but it seems that it is just that, the napalms shoots through the Rift... I can't come to any other conclusions. I've failed 3 missions now because of this since my last update, and it's all because of those Napalms. Somehow looks like they have more Armor than bombards at that level, which is weird since they have the same ferrite armor  amount on the wikia...

  10. I know not a lot of people will be interrested in this thread, since I'm possibly the only Limbo main still in existence, however - today when I decided to do a Corpus Siege, I was met with the many all smiling faces of possibly 8 Grineer Napalms, whom proceeded to shoot through the rift, take half my health and give me a fire proc, which shredded all of my health completely.

I don't know if it's a feature that Limbo's Rift Walk ability can't stop a shot of napalm, or if it's simply a bug, but I figured I'd simply file a bug report.

  11. Will there ever be an icon on blueprints from the marked, displaying that if you have already leveled them maxed up? I've always found it tidious to run from the marked to the codex just to find out that I have already leveled the weapon up.

  12. I see a lot of talk running around all the reworks, and I'm just sitting here wanting more cats for CAT-FRAME WARFRAME! so are there any progress to the Cat-brows?

We've seen some awesome designs and armor, but have you given them special abilities yet?

When can we expect the Cat-brows? (Probably in the next big patch, since I recon they might involve another quest...?)

  13. 3 days ago early in the morning before going to school I logged into Warframe and was met with the 50th day login reward, the "Imminent Eclipse Bundle", and I saw that it contained an infinity booster, and I thought it would be best to claim it when I came home later, so I closed warframe with the belief that I could open it when I came home. I couldn't. When I came home the daily login screen didn't show again, and I couldn't claim the bundle. I wondered if it was activated when I logged in earlier and if it only contained the affinity booster and the catalyst as shown, and I wasn't sure that I could prove that I was neglected the "Imminent Eclipse Bundle". When I today found out that it also contained the "Imminent eclipse sigil", I could see that the sigil wasn't in my inventory, and that the imminent eclipse bundle hadn't been claimed.

In short, the daily login rewards can't be claimed, if you close your game window while on the daily reward screen, and that can be problematic also if your game accidentally chooses not to respond. Can it be proved? Probably, I think that I have to get to the next mile stone (100 days) before this bug has a big enough significance on the game to prove the bug.

  14. are there any specific reason as to why the forums' devstream alert's picture is of the long anticipated Trinity Skin, and if so, when can we expect it's arrival.

My brain hurts for trying to sound smart, I'll stop that now! I ain't even can smart talk lol, yes...

  15. Just by hearing what she's like, and what she's going through, I can knowledge her as a fantastic person, and though I agree with the top comment, I would like to wish her all the happiness and luck in the world!
