Please show me where she "Overreacted"

And fyi - there is something called individuality. Just because this is "funny" to you, doesn't mean that it's funny to her.

The dude said "More like "The Mad Within" or "The Ama murder you all DE Within"

This is an obvious joke to me. She even says in one of her later tweets that she thinks it was probably a bad joke. Cool that you guys support her, but no need to make it out into such a big deal.

  2. I do not understand. That was not a legitimate death threat, that was a poorly-structured joke from an anonymous guy on a social media website. Is my sense of humor extremely dark compared to all of you, or are you all overreacting just like Becca did?

On top of all that, it wasn't even aimed at Becca.

I'll never understand how people turn the game into an idler. It's so god damn boring to stand around and do nothing. I've gotta run around and do things or I'll go crazy and/or die of boredom. Then again I play Banshee for the most part and actually use a gun that isn't the abomination called the Synoid Simulor.

All i can see from your post is "I don't know that almost every single human on this planet is different".

I like semi-afk/afk farming (or "idling", if we go by OPs post) because it lets me do something else in the background. Constant action gets tiresome for me.

Because they have an idea of what they want their game to be, they are displeased with it being played as a so-called "idler," and they are the devs... which means they have the power to change it.

See, you're wrong here. DE is a company that creates a product for consumers. Companies that want to increase their profits make their products for the consumers, not themselves.

Nothing wrong with game devs having their own vision of the game, but they have to listen to their playerbase if they expect their game to last.

One game on Steam called Robocraft has this problem - devs have their own vision and around 2015 stopped caring about what the players want, and because of it the game's now dropped from ~8.5k average players to <4k average players, and is continuously decreasing. I really do not want to see Warframe go this way.

  4. I think it would have been cool if it were treated like Dead Eye mode in the Red Dead games; mark where you want to shoot enemies, an X appears, then fire to instantly hit all the marks in cowboy-tastic sequence. it'd probably have to be a bit different to suit Warframe, but I think it would be pretty good. though an "Exalted Pistols" idea (extreme damage, based on secondary damage/mods, drains energy per second etc.) is also a cool concept IMO.

RDR's Dead Eye mode wouldn't work here IMO - the sheer difference in enemy group sizes makes it a no-go.

  5. You see, finishing a Fomorian sabotage mission gives you either Imperator Vandal parts or 5 R5 cores. In order to finish the mission, you don't even need to damage the core. You can fly in, activate the Disruptor and fly out. In order to maximise the amount of time the Fomorian stays up people don't damage it. Sharing is caring!

Also, if we let Orcus relay die maybe DE will take a look at Baro'S#&$'Tier and give him something better than Primed Disappointment. It's a win-win scenario for us if we don't damage the Fomorian.

  6. This. If you have a frame with a lens using a weapon without a lens, affinity gained by killing with your weapon will go towards your warframe to gain focus. DE at least thought about that, you can use any frame and gain reasonable amounts of focus.

Going 60mins in a T4 survival with my Trin (who has my Vazarin lens), getting 900-ish kills and getting mere 4k Focus makes me think you're @(*()$ with me.

  7. Buzlok :)

It is really like a rifle

It is not a sniper rifle and does not benefit from hitstreaks, so pls don't spread false info.

Rubico is kinda similar to Vulkar, both are pretty good for mid-level content

Vectis (P) is considered king of snipers, but Rubico with a proper build and good aim can outdamage it

Lanka is weird one - it fires projectiles, so you need to know how to aim with it, but I really like it, it's definitely a contender for top-tier weaponry

  8. Yep. I'm asking this because I installed my first lens on Trinity. Unless I decide to slave away and 1+2 enemies for several hours each day, I'm doomed. Let's be honest - school descriptions were unclear (counter enemy movements, special ability - healcake? ye wot?), we didn't know how the system worked, and I've read here, on reddit and in-game that many people made the same mistake - put it on their favorite gear, and without knowing it, pretty much forbid themselves from really using the Focus system.

What I propose is DE letting us remove lenses from our gear without destroying them, but make it so it would only be possible to do for a limited time - an hour, a day, a week? Any time frame would be good, as long as a proper announcement was made beforehand.

Thanks for reading this suggestion/request, discuss below Tenno.

  9. It all began a week or so ago, when the new frame - Ivara - was released. Little Ignas here did not think much about it, Ivara didn't really seem interesting to him, so I kinda ignored her existence and went on with my day. I didn't really think about her until Friday the 11th morning, when me and my friend Dean made a bet - whoever can get Ivara in a single sitting gets full control of the other ones Facebook for 2 hours. I didn't really think about it much, again, so I started grinding (me and my friend we're both going solo in separate lobbies). We talked on skype for the first 5 or so hours until we started raging a little, so then we just grinded each on their own.

So by the time Dean gives up, 11 hours have passed since we started grinding. He has Ivara's helmet and blueprint, while I have no parts. He goes to sleep while I decide to take a smoke'n'tea break, and continue farming shortly after. 15 hours pass and I have nothing, 21 hours and I have nothing, and then FINALLY, at the 22nd hour I get her chassis. By that time I'm really exhausted, so I go take a 1hr nap, another smoke'n'tea break shortly after and continue grinding. My friend wakes up when I'm on my 25th hour and tells me this:

"Dude, just give up. You can grind for her later man, she ain't going nowhere". This is where my exhausted brains makes the weird decision to turn Retard Mode on, and I tell him to F*** off because I'm going nowhere until I get Ivara. And so I continue farming.

I get her systems at the 28th hour, helmet by the 31st and the BP at around the 33rd hour. And now I'm sitting here, just started building Ivara, rethinking my life choices. First of all, I'd like to thank Lipton (black tea), Camel (cigarettes) and Spotify (music) for keeping me sane and awake, and also I'd like to thank Fujitsu for making laptops that can keep working at full capacity for 34 hours (with small breaks in-between).

What did I learn from this? That I'm a stubborn, $&*&*#(%&, and that I really @(*()$ love (hate?) Warframe.

P.S. Dean F*** you and your bets.

P.S.S. And now I'm off to sleep for a week

  10. Focus xp is not gained from shared xp (got 10k from frame, and a total of 4 points from 2 lensed weapons on t3d 20w).

You must be a selfish c*nt and hog all the kills or play solo with stealth kills to gain non-insignificant numbers. As someone who would prefer playing support roles, and avoiding stealth, the system penalizes my preferences and penalizes teamplay. Quick, everyone go compete for kills like low teir dota play.

Hope distribution will be one of the mechanics getting reworked soon, for the sake of a non-toxic playerbase.

This is so true considering I love my Trin and put my Vazarin lens on her, only to realise I'm barely gonna get any Focus xp and that Vazarin lens is just a damned health restore on a cooldown. Really let down by the entire Focus system so far, hope DE realises their mistakes and fixes them.

  11. Went with Vazarin, not impressed. Seems like a health restore on a 3 minute cooldown, it's only benefit really being the possibility to revive a nearby downed player and that it can heal extractors/tenno pods, so it works pretty damn well in defense/excavation missions.

Got a Naramon lens from yesterday's sortie rewards though, so will probably start leveling that.
