I think... it's teaser of the new Sentient(That voice), Saryn, Nikana and probably new Event and Earth 2.0. But it may be just Saryn and Nikana... We'll see later :D Hunhow promised revenge and destruction to Stalker, and that voice is promising to reclaim earth from spores and the ruin. I should write conspiracy theories. xD

I think my brother has similar problem, as he is at Rank 12, and only has one Elite and a couple of Dailies to be left.
Challenges are marked as completed, but you never receive points for those if you finish more than one during one mission. It is bearable when you do Daily, then Elite kicks in - you get 9000 points, but when you reverse the order, my guess is that you'll only receive 1000 points.
This bug makes it impossible to achieve Max Rank if you complete many challenges at once often. 😕
