Headshots! I've seen my dread crit on a headshot for 1500 dmg and it's only level 16 atm... I'm loving it way more than the Paris atm. But yeah, the Dread has one massive negative compared to the Paris and a lot of smaller positives, you have to decide which you like best. Or take Paris for fighting Grineer and Dread for Infested/Corups.
So far I'm completely satisfied with the Dread. Just wish I had split chamber for it :/

This is the only gun i've ever completely regretted using a potato on, kept levelling it up thinking it HAS to get good at some point. At the end I had max crit chance/dmg, maxed out element damages, extra ammo and a high level serration. Sadly no Split chamber because RNG gods decide after 200 hours played I still can't find one.
Finally at 30 it managed to do some decent damage, only on crits mind you. But it's ammo economy made even the Gorgon look great. Imo unless split chamber completely changes this gun it's just a handicap compared to others like the Gorgon or Braton.
I sold it to make room for the Latron and I'm enjoying that much more.

Key's are dropping from spy missions? I thought it was only defence wave rewards or login rewards?

Unless they changed something in 8.0 levelling snow globe still has zero effect. I tested it several times, I'll go and test it again but otherwise you're just wasting points. It's 30 seconds duration all the way, anybody know something I don't?

The best part is, so many people here have hyped themselves up something special, with all the "are we there yet?" threads that when update 8 does come out, they'll just be dissapointed because it can't possibly live up to their expectations. It's gonna be funny heh

Problem with going solo is drop rates seem to increase drastically with more players.
Solo I can expect 1 mod per 100 kills maybe, unless i'm strangely lucky.
with 3/4, I can get 5+ mods with those same kills. I just lack the motivation to solo with such little reward.

I promise this isn't me complaining.
I'm just trying to at least know if this mod is supposed to be this rare or if I've just been one unlucky sob.
I've gotten multiple pistol multishots, and at least two shotgun multishots, I think three.
Anyway, my favorite rifle is the braton and not having multishot for it is starting to drive me bonkers.
I'm patient, but my patience is being tried, so I would like to request opinions, analysis and general words of comfort (lol) from the community at large to help keep my mind placated while I fight the good fight hoping to get it sometime before update 12 (lol).
Plus, it could be a nice change of pace from the disappointment (justified and not) from the latest patch/update. :)
238 hours on my steam, split chamber is still the only multi-shot mod i don't have. You're not alone :(
I got a friend to play Warframe, she dropped it on her first mission on mercury. I nearly cried.

They'll get to that, expect it to also receive something similar to an 80%~ dmg reduction in future.
As for the OP, yeah... people expect everything handed to them these days, the slightest upset and they act like spoiled princesses. Take some time, wait to see how things for for at least a little while and then give some well thought out feedback & criticism. I'm all for freedom of expression but the amount of whining makes me sad to be part of this community, I truly pity DE when they read this crap, I hope it doesn't drain their enthusiasm too much.

stings a bit much really, getting hurt isn't so bad if you let shade stealth you because it won't remove invis while casting, but it seems to do considerably less damage to armoured targets, even infested chargers are taking what feels like half damage.
Not sure what to think, I've mothballed my Banshee for now, I'll stick to Frost until they nerf him too probably xD

Overly sensitive people need to wise up or get off the internet, let alone playing a game where you slaughter upwards of half a thousand soldiers per mission in some cases. Words mean different things in different countries, what's fine to one culture is taboo in another, if we keep everything PC for every single person in the world what we're left with is bland and dull beyond recognition.
The name of the mod is fine, there was no malicious intention behind it, why would there be? It serves DE no purpose. Threads like these are just being made for attention to cause drama where there was simply no need, people trying their hardest to see offense where there is none.

I'm using max Hell's chamber
max point blank
40% magazine capacity (6 shells)
max AP dmg
60% fire dmg
60% electric dmg
15% ice dmg
totals at 60 mod capacity
You can mess around with fire/ice/electric %'s if you want to swap depending on who you're fighting but if you want to use an all round death dealer, this is pretty much that. By far the most powerful gun I own right now, until I get a split chamber mod at least.

Twin vipers are really nice, but they start off awful really. They're never going to have a good ammo economy but at max level and modded correctly they do insane burst dps. I'd probably go as far to say that if you can't potato them, they're not worth it. I love mine, probably my fav secondary weapon atm.
Can't speak for the Bronco though.

Paris is a FUN weapon, worth it for the fun alone, and after the fun it's still a good weapon. It's got it's disadvantages though, like most weapons do. It's not fast and hitting at range will be very difficult if you're not the host or the host has a bad connection. It's damage is nice and if you get headshots it'll one hit kill almost everything, no matter the level. With a split chamber mod it doesn't even matter where you hit, things will die the second you release that arrow.

Frost, Saryn, Banshee, Rhino, Trinity, Loki and Nyx can be really good for endless defence. They have many useful skills to help, to a lesser degree Ember is good for Infested defence and Volt for corpus but I'd still take others if given the option.
For high level endless defence ammo economy is very important, so a hard hitting gun that doesn't spam ammo would be ideal. Latron, Hek, Lex are some examples of the best ammo economy guns, although others are still easily acceptable, Boltor is ok for ammo economy, as is the Braton. If you can take a good secondary weapon that's powerful enough to use on it's own for a wave or two, you can usually fill the ammo back up completely for your main choice.
Mag is nice but as the waves get higher she gets less and less useful. Abilities that never get worse with difficulty will really shine, such as Iron skin, Snow globe, Chaos, Energy vampire, Decoy, Sonar etc.
That's just my opinion.

I don't see why everyone needs to end at the same time anyway, once someone finishes let them leave, if they are in a group they will all finish the same time so thats not a problem.
The way it is now, as I am leveling Rhino I feel forced to rush through because if the team decide to leave me behind theres not much chance of me catching up.
This would be ideal, but right now it's a game which runs from 1 host, so it wouldn't really work. Especially in the OP's point where he was the host.

If you want to explore a lot, play solo or with friends. Not everybody rushes in public games but sometime's it's gonna happen. I know if I play public and the host has an awful internet connection, i'm not gonna open boxes and wait 5-8 seconds for loot to pop out in slow motion, I'll just rush and get it over with.
If you want to farm mats, just set yourself up to specifically fight the faction you're against, get a good gun and play solo. If you want to farm mods, get in a game on a mobile defence mission, most people there want exactly the same thing and aren't going to rush anything. If you want to farm bosses, then the boss drop is the only important thing.
Without the timer, somebody could just troll you and never let a game end. Without the cash incentive people could be like "mission done now, i'll go afk while you get to the exit." And i'm sorry but screw that, no way I'm fighting through mobs on my own to benefit somebody who wants stuff for free.
Get to the exit in time or face the consequences, it's that simple really.
