  1. Make it Tap/Hold - maybe the ability to swap them for no or lower energy cost if it's already active (maybe it doesn't refresh the duration if it's no cost, but will refresh if it does cost a lower energy cost)
    Don't nerf the base version.
Make the Helminth version have lower BASE numbers and don't cap them super low - e.g. the Damage Resistance for the Helminth version could be base 30% but cap out at 90% or 95% like normal (understandable for Mirage herself to be able to hit the 95% exclusively), which requires a heavy build investment to reach, rather than flat out capping it at a lower, less useful value (as DR below 90% isn't very useful). The damage buff could also be base 60% (if you really need it lower; 100% would also be fine if you don't want to drop it too far) with no cap. Numbers are for the max-rank version of the ability.

An argument could also be made to limit its use with other damage resistance abilities on the same frame, similarly to how no two of Roar, Xata's Whisper, Eclipse, and Vex Armour cannot be on the same warframe at once. Trinity's Blessing would be a fair candidate, for instance. Citrine's Preserving Shell, too (though it'll still work if another Citrine has the ability active nearby). Stuff like that.

  2. If you go into Simaris' Offerings and look at either of the console decorations any offering for more than 5 seconds, then close the UI (pressing escape to leave the item and then again to leave the list) you are met with a black screen with a floating Simaris in the middle, your map on the top left, chat in the bottom left (or wherever you've moved it to). You can still move around, getting your bearings by the map. You can revert the issue by opening another interaction (re-opening the offerings, looking at the research on the other side of the room, etc.) Talking to Simaris or pressing escape does not work. Leaving the relay from the escape menu does.

  3. I know most (if not all) computers these days don't have these keys physically, but through tools like AutoHotKey you can bind mouse and keyboard macros to these "virtual" keys. Unfortunately, Warframe doesn't respond to these keys at all when trying to bind them in keybinds.

Any chance this could be implemented as a QoL change?

One Sarpa is always better than 3 Corrosive Projection, that's a no-brainer. You just have to fire the Sarpa a certain amount of times, I've read 6 times is enough for all eidolons. 7 is optimal but it's risky if you happen to fire once more, you remove all the eidolon's armor and that makes you lose the 75% radiation damage bonus against alloy armor.

Think about it: you don't need Paracesis for everyone in squad, and Dead Eye or even Steel Charge for Paracesis depending on which goes down faster, limb or last phase, is much bigger damage buff than Corrosive Projection.

And applying Shattering Impact with Sarpa takes about 10-15 sec for one eidolon for just one person and it should be applicable in the start of fight. So Shattering Impact taking long time to apply is an invalid argument unless you oneshot both limbs and last phase on every eidolon with 3 Corrosive Projection, which is quite hard to do without Ivara or using void strike charges with Opticor.

Corrosive Projection doesn't work on Eidolons iirc. They changed that way back when it was first introduced and people used it and shield disruptor to wipe out all the armour and shields of Terry

You sure about that? They still get 60% extra strength from the other 2 having the aura so there's no loss there.

Also, iirc you only need to shoot the Eidolon with the sarpa when it spawns and the armor reduction will persist throughout the entire fight. Unless they changed it and you need to shoot the limbs individually.

It would be +30% each (-30% from their own mod, +30% for each teammate running (2) 30% + 30% - 30% = 30%) for the carriers of Power Donation. You're still right about the net gain overall.

Me too... But I would prefer the possibility to switch focus while playing. Maybe something like hold 5 or don't know...

(but switching like you suggest would be better than the solution now...)

Yes! Switching focus on the fly would be dope as heck! Perhaps it would have to have a cooldown on how often you can switch it? And cancelling all the existing passives and such would be an interesting thing to have (along with all the bugs that would arise from it too).

  7. Seeing as every Warframe will (hopefully) get their Prime/Wraith/Vandal form, and each use individual prime pieces to craft, Chroma will most likely be the most expensive Prime Warframe yet, requiring blueprints for not only his own parts, but the parts and blueprints of the prime pieces (Volt Prime and Ember Prime Helmets, Frost Prime Chassis, Saryn Prime Systems) that would make up each of his own pieces.

To balance this expense, my idea is this:

A set of mods (and maybe a special mod slot just for these mods that ONLY these mods can go into) for each of the four elemental damage types (Heat, Cold, Toxin, Electricity) which will interact with Chroma's abilities. If the element on the mod is the same as the current element of Chroma's abilities (chosen by the Energy colour as normal) then the abilities will simply be buffed, either increasing their effectiveness (damage dealt, damage resistance, etc.) or increasing efficiency or range. If the element is a different one, then the abilities will instead have one of the compound elements (Blast, Corrosive, Gas, Magnetic, Radiation, Viral) as opposed to the normal ones. This would give Chroma Prime an expansion on the original mechanic of changing elements of damage types, allowing more possibilities (a total of 10 possible setups, if the mods are used) while balancing the cost nicely. It also allows players to change setups based on what enemies they are facing.

I really hope this is implemented when Chroma Prime comes around. I personally would use Radiation
