I feel like those arms just don't make sense, because if you're gonna give me a Warframe with 4 arms I better be able to quad wield Grakatas even if it's just a skin.

Both those choices are still better success stories than Kathleen Kennedy ruining Star Wars

Found this on youtube today and thought I'd share it

I waited around a year before Nova Prime went up to 300+. Vaulted Frames are long term investments I generally buy 50+ sets right before I'm about to take a break from Warframe so by the time I come back the prices are at their peak. Plus it doesn't let me worry about my investment as much so long as I sell them off before their unvaulting gets announced. Besides even if you sell early as long as the price increased it's always a profit. I normally buy 1 frame ahead of the one that's vaulted that way they're still around 50-70p and by the time the next frame gets announced the prices will be already increasing.

I was totally expecting to at least farm a few hours when I saw I had to build Umbra during the quest, then when I saw that I had everything I thought to myself, "Oh ok so I just have to rush it then." Then when it took like 5 seconds to build, I was shocked. I even had my mouse on the rush button which cost 0 plat and considered pushing it even though it was almost done building. Then when it said I had to equip him I was like, "No can't be that easy." Good thing it wasn't otherwise I would have passed out. After the quest I figured Umbra would have been in pieces of something making me have to rebuild him and find other parts to fix him or something, but nope he was equiped and ready to be formaed.
When I checked the builds and found 5 new FREE mods that had prime stats and better (with the set bonus) I was impressed.
I enjoyed the quest, granted the ending was a bit of a let down in terms of combat, but still the story was solid and I look forward to whatever DE has in store for us at Tennocon.
We got so much free stuff this update, I can't believe people are upset over it. Honestly I thought when Vacuum got changed the community hit a lot point with all the salt and threats, but I must say this update was another low point and I'm honestly disappointed in some of the people in this community.

So I looked at op's profile and his most used frames ranked from most used to least is this:
Rhino: 12.2%, 16.3mill exp, 9.3k kills, 1.1k assists
Nova: 11.3%, 10.5mill exp, 34.5k kills, 6.2k assists
Loki: 9.9%, 5.3mill exp, 70 kills, 66 assists
Vauban: 6.6%, 8.5mill exp, 9.2k kills, 12.2k assists
Nekros: 4.5%, 10mill exp, 1.8k kills, 1.2k assists
Valk: 4.5%, 9.8mill exp, 7.3k kills, 718 assists
Loki Prime: 4%, 12.2mill exp, 1.5k kills, 2.4k assists
Ember Prime: 3.2%, 53mill exp, 53k kills, 7.3k assists
Excalibur Prime: 3.1%, 4.8mill exp, 2.4k kills, 574 assists
I'm not even going to mention the rest of your frames, because some of them have more kills and exp gain than your Excal Prime with less usage. I know most of these numbers don't mean much since Ember racks up exp and kills like crazy. But for someone who's so adamant about being "cheaped" out on an exclusive item it seems like you hardly play the frame.
So why even get mad when you barely even use it, it's just gathering dust in your inventory.

Volt, I can probably buy an electric car and drive to infinity and beyond. Also no more electric bills 🙂
Frost, because I live in LA and it's always hot around so free air conditioning
Titania, because she makes me pen*s feel big

Another case of someone feeling entitled to something just cuz he spent money. I understand that without founders we wouldn't have Warframe, but having that said it's been 5 years since Warframe was launched, many non founders have spent plenty of money to help support the game. So get over yourself, we as a community have made Warframe grow, it's not just you anymore, it's all of us. So instead of being annoyed that you're not longer a special snowflake, maybe appreciate that you got a new frame for free, and instead of acting spoiled maybe hope that DE allows you to put your Primed skin on the Umbra skin or vice versa.

Lol you are just another prime example that this game's community has gone to S#&$, what was I thinking even posting here
Hate to say it, but it's not his fault. He's not the one being salty on the forums. I normally give the player the benefit of the doubt but in your case I can see why you were banned now.

He wouldn't be a Stalker if he didn't strike at your most vulnerable state 😉

Deleted? Why would it be deleted? Is there a rule against posting my frustration?
No, generally these types of threads get deleted or locked. And I'm pretty sure I've seen your post get deleted once already since I read it earlier and it 404ed when I reloaded my browser.

Wait wasn't this deleted once already? If you keep posting the same thing you might end up getting more than a weeks ban 😛

Zariman comes first by several hundred years (and was only lost for 6 months before it popped back in to real space where it made the failed jump). The Sentient were created because nobody wanted to try something like the Zariman again, because out of all the things the Orokin lost in the Void perfecting the Zariman's engines, only the Zariman was ever found again.
In the Codex Entry, Mag Prime was the special cargo. The rest of the battle group existed to give the Sentient something other than her to shoot at while she got her bearings after the jump.
Now, one thing people keep forgetting about Umbra lore is that Excalibur Umbra is special, even among the Umbras.
Excalibur Umbra has its memories because Ballas was punishing the Dax who discovered his pending defection to join the Sentient. An eternity of remembering being forced to murder his own son at the behest of a traitor, and nothing else. Ballas was an insanely cruel man, since the games of Komi you play with him is for the lives of your extended family. He was going to execute one family member for each stone he captured for the crime of being related to the man who discovered his treason.
Ordis is an existence of much the same circumstances, a Cephalon born to love the Orokin and be forever loyal, crafted from the mind of a terminally ill traitor who hated the Orokin.
Ah ok, thank you for clearing all that up 😄

Didn't finding the zariman give them the incentive to create the warframes? So would it even be possible for a prime to exist before that?
Yeah Rhino's lore is his Prime lore. They found the Primes pretty much and used that tech to create regular Warframes. Warframes existed before to try and fight off Sentients. So it goes like Orokin Warframes (Primes) > Finding Zariman and creating regular Warframes

So DE said not every frame will have an Umbra variant and looking at the codex there are only 3 other frames with any lore attached to them, the frames are: Rhino, and Ember. Mag has lore as well but her lore is specific to her Prime, but it would be nice to see a Mag Umbra. So lets assume Mag does get an Umbra, maybe going through the Solar Rails triggers something in her memories.
In terms of order I'm thinking it might be Mag, Ember then Rhino. The reasoning for it is as follows:
Mag - Her lore relates to the Solar Rails/ Dark Sectors and De has been working on it so when it does release it might be a nice addition to have an Umbra story included in it so it'll be like extra frosting on cake. I'm not saying that Mag Umbra will be released with the Solar Rails (I don't want to give people false hope). Mag was in a ship essentially that was carrying "Special Cargo," probably the Tenno. So imagine when DE finally puts Solar Rails back and there's a quest to find out what happened to the people who went through it, more Tenno lore, etc. There you find a guardian of the past standing before you, Mag Umbra.
Ember - Ember's lore is about a soldier named Kaleen who found the Tenno. She broke protocol and ended up burned I'm guessing by the void energy. Someone experiments on her or tries to fix her and she ends up becoming Ember Umbra. It can be a follow up quest to Mag Umbra but I doubt DE will release Umbra after Umbra. Instead there might be a few quests in between the two that'll eventually lead up to the us acquiring Ember Umbra.
Rhino - Lastly is Rhino. Rhino's story seems to take place after the Zariman ship was lost. However I'm not sure if it was after or before they found the Zariman ship so it might be before Mag (if anyone can clear up the lore stuff that'll be great.) Rhino Prime essentially was being experimented on, and in the lore it references Rhino remembering everything that happens as he tears through the facility where they're keeping him.
So that's my theory on who might get Umbraed, it might be a stretch but there's not much to go on for now.
Who do you think might get an Umbra variant?

Rebecca is leaving cuz she can't deal with all the losers anymore /s

It's the mods that make Umbra strong not the frame itself. Without the mods it's just a warframe that derps around when you go into operator mode. Having that said, yeah Umbra's are probably the only frames that can take advantage of the full set bonus of the Umbral and Sacrifice mods, but that's only until DE decides to let us forma the Tau polarities. If that ever happens Excal Umbra will just be a better looking Excal (Prime). So until then sure Umbra is strong, but we don't know what'll happen in future updates. Tennocon is coming up soon and from what people are speculating DE might reveal the Tau System, and with it there might be a way to acquire the new Tau polarities.

It doesn't matter, the sooner you submit a ticket the sooner they can get back to you and resolve it.

Yeah happened to me, thought it was interesting what they were talking about. Ordis did warn us there might be some danger when we were trying to find out what happened and I wonder if that was one of the side effects. What if our operator and Umbra's memories are slowly melding together as one? Makes you question what other memories you had were yours or if they belonged to someone else.
