  1. Okay, will there be some kind of new level intro in the works ? Any word on a double barreled shotgun like the Super Shotgun in the Doom series ? Can you guys make like a pop-up that says what kind of restrictions that you're dealing with during To Be Named/ Nightmare mode ?

  2. i think making the sobek the first armor ignore shotty would do a lot to improve its lacklusterness

  3. Ive got Acellerated blast, fire rate, damage, AP damage and frost on my level 15 one, and boy does it own.

    The fire rate is its boon. Get MOAR FIRERATE.

    It can outshine the hek in DPS if modded right.

    What's AP Damage ?

     ~ OLD VERSION ~

     

    Introduction:
    Okay, I never reviewed anything before but i felt like I should now, so please give me alot of tips for me to improve. Second, I have 2 categories to go through then the verdict and maybe a Mod settings category and how to improve it. That's how my reviews are gonna be gone through. Lastly, sound off in the comments on what do you think about the Sobek and how it should be improve. this is MY review/opinion. Also, what should I review next ? Now, shall we start ?

    Quick Description:
    Sobek is a rapid-firing Grineer shotgun that has reduced damage per shot but boasts an extra large clip capacity.

    Aesthetics/Design:
    I have to seriously slow-clap for this.

    Seriously, good job on the design. I admire the design on the stock and of course, the clip and the barrel. Awesome name, Sobek. I know what this name means and is because of too many Smite action (don't judge me). The sound is pretty good but can still be improved. Alot of people are commenting that the Sobek is a little bit small, undersized and I'll have to agree


    Gameplay:
    Now, this is where it's going to get rough, *takes a deep breath* *breaths out*. The damage sucks, period. When Unranked, It does roughly, 4-6 damage per pellet and sometimes 1-2. The fourth installment in the shotgun family has the lowest damage per shot between all the shotguns. No polaraties. Needs a Mastery Rank 4. Also takes a while to craft. But of course, It doesn't suck ultimately. It tries to make up with a bigger clip and a faster reload than any shotguns available. Spread of the bullets are not that bad, Ideal for a mid-range fight.

    Improvements:
    How do you improve it then ? Well, maybe you could increase the base damage from 40.0 to something around 80.0 and cut the clip fom 20 to 12. Or, you can make the gun shoot two bullets per shot which results in roughly 12 or 13 per shot but not cutting down the clip, which totals up into uhhhh...240 per magazine. Not on par with the Hek but hey, it's something. Or, you could always make this:

  5. Well, first off congrats and thank you for Update 9, really awesome update so far ! Loving the new UI :) Still haven't gotten Nova but she looks dope. I wanted to thank you guys for fixing the Dojo system. It's because on Update 8, me and my friends was so excited about the Dojo and was dissapointed that we didn't get to fully experience it. Finally, in Update 9 we FINALLY get to build some rooms and played some PvP, which is awesome by the way. We haven't had so much fun in awhile in Warframe and this has to be one of those awesome moments in life. Thank you again, DE.

    Ahhhh, I haven't quite played it in a while. Will jump back and thanks for telling meh. But the Founders question from Rooder is actually interesting, I wanna know more about that.

  7. So, I saw this video and watched it like any sane person would and what I noticed is that the level seems different from what I use to see. Here, check it out for yourself: 

     

    What I noticed:

    Some kind of a small river near the cyropod.

    Some UI fixes.

    Lighting changed in the cave and the tiles looks cleaner.

    The ice looks more colder and fresh.

     

    Does that mean there will be an update that changes the level design for the pc too ?

     

  8. Right now farming for resources is boring. As the players can only get resources by playing missions on a certain planet again and again the process quickly becomes tedious.

    Here are some ideas on how DE can diversify it:

    1. Alerts with resource rewards. They were mentioned in an earlier livestream, so I guess they just didn't make it in time for U8, but will come at a (hopefully, not much) later date.

    2. Send Sentinels on their own resource-gathering missions. Think Crew Skills from SWTOR - you pay a certain amount of credits and the Sentinel leaves you for 5-15 minutes to complete a mission of it's own. Depending on Sentinel's level and it's gear the mission can be a success or a failure. If the mission was succesful you get resources (different ones from different planets) or mods or blueprints.

    3. Significantly scaling up the amount of resources in one pickup with the level of a mission. For example, right now Nano Spores drop in identical amounts (about 150 for one pickup) on Eris and Mercury. Risk and reward just don't match.

    4. Special resource-oriented mods/artifacts. For example, "Poacher - increases amount of resources picked up by 10-40%", "Mugger - enemies drop resources more often" or "Burglar - containers and lockers drop resources more often".

    5. Buying a "Resource-booster" for Platinum in the Market. Again, this was mentioned in a livestream.

    6. "Double Drop Days" for holidays or weekends.

    Naturally, I don't expect DE to incorporate everything I proposed, but something definitely must be done.

     

    I agree with all of this so much. Sending the Sentinels thing reminded me of Dead Space 3 with the resource bot.

  9. Hmmm, well I noticed that the name of the ability "Speed" sounds pretty lame. DE should change it to something like "Bolt" or something. Why Bolt ? It's because you normally hear the word bolt when someone is running or going fast in general and also lightning bolt. So yeah, work on it DE >:D

  10. I just want to say that I am fully satisfied with Update 8. I think the DEs really did great. You guys should also have a party to congratulate you all and post a video about it. Also, can we have a wallpaper of the loading screen ? looks really cool.
